  1. Cool; I'm in. PRGR seems like quality across the board. My T3 Black is sweet!

I installed the Axiv V 7076 in my tour issue FT-5 and my tour issue Superquad and its the best shaft I've ever hit. I have to imagine we are threading hairs here because I have a hard time buying that the Roddio is far superior in overall performance. Having said that; maybe the dynamic from one shaft to another might be a better fit for a players game, etc. This Axiv is so tight and long its crazy...
  3. God bless you man (I have eight million sets myself) and going to pull the trigger tomorrow as well. Great deal; are they really big compared to the XCB's? Sweet looking in person? Thanks
  4. Anyone know the tip diameter? I want to pull the trigger on a set of these; they look sweet!
  5. I would love to see the top line pics as well. How much offset? If you had to compare these to another set on the market, would they be MP-60's or something in the medium size. I have a perfect set of shafts for these so I'm assuming they are taper tip correct? Do you think I'm going to have a hard time bringing them up to D3?

I was wondering how the ball flight was with the 9* PRGR T3 Black? I'm thinking about purchasing oneof these and the feedback would be extremely helpful. Thanks

It rocks; period. I now need another one of these shafts for my Superquad TP.

Will do; we played with shaft position today to see how the CPM's would playout at 44.5*/D3 with a five inch clamp and a 50gr grip. It appears it will CPM in the 266-269 range untipped which is perfect! The tour issue head weighed in at 200grs on the nose. These are legit numbers for a very good shaft in that weight and flex range so I have no doubt it will workout very nicely. I was happy I didn't need to fiddle around with tipping as I personally feel more than .5' of tip in a driver changes the dynamics of the shaft but thats just my feeling; I'm sure many would argue this incuding my club guru which feels 1' tip is still OK. More to come...
  9. I think those wedges look awesome; killer grinds.

Graphics down it is; I can't wait to have my tour issue FT-5 back on Wednesday! This bad boy should be a cannon. Thanks everyone for the help, I wanted to get it right the first time.

I have the shaft; how should I position it? I typically spline align and try to keep labels down. Silver up or graphics up with the Axiv V??? Thanks

Kick butt feedback guys; as a reference I too realized that the FT-5 Tour seems to measure shafts a bit tighter. I really like the Grafalloy Axis in X-flex; dry shafted my tour issue FT-5 with one just to see what it would be and it CPM'ed at 275! I've played this shaft in two other heads and it wasn't even close to that. Verdict is in; It's the 7076 then. I will do a full review once its installed.

Thanks guys, the feedback is much appreciated. Overall, do you like the playing characteristics of the Axiv shafts? Eveyone seems to give them very high praise. Question for the shinichi808; was the Axiv inserted full or blind bore? If its full bore then that would explain the jump in CPM's. Definitely think 278CPM's is to stiff for this little italiano. Sounds like the 7076 might be the ticket...

I'm typically an X-flex guy and I like my shafts in the 265CPM/65-73gr range with a mid-kickpoint and high launch/medium to low spin. I have a smooth tempo in the 108-110mph range. Which Axiv should I consider? 7072 or 7076? Or is there anther Axiv model better suited for my profile. I do not like "Altus" style shafts that have the feel of being wippy.

Is there any difference between the Taylormade Reax TP Rombax and the 07' actual Fuji Rombax lineup. I have a tour issue Superquad and can't decide if I want to purchase the new 07' or just find a mint TP Reax Rombax and save the money. Also considering the Axiv V because you guys love them so much. How will this Axiv compare to the Rombax? Also, is the 07' paint job cool looking in person? Thanks fellas in advance.

Does anyone know if Scotty will be offering 34/350/charcoal mist in Japan? If so I have an impossible to find MINT 33/350 Newport Mil Spec on the rack just waiting to trade for a #2 or #3. I spent a small fortune on this putter to start a collection but it doesn't work for me as I want gamers.

I have a Z:XV brand new still in plastic if someone wants it; I purchased on an impluse then ordered a new Slighter the next day. I paid $195 shipped and will sell for the same. It looks pretty darn nice to me...

What about the new matte black finish?
  19. gus replied to jti's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Are these milled carbon steel? How does the matte black finish look? They seem to look pretty cool...

I had a set of T-Zoid Pros and thought they felt great and very consistant. I was actually unhappy with Mizzy offerings for a while after that.
  21. I'm looking for a 10.5* head as well...

What is the actual swingweight of Epon, tourstage and MP Craft? Is it possible to obtain any of them at D3/44.75'? I think these fellas are just looking for someone who might be selling a recent purchase and have no idea how new the MP Craft actually is.
  23. Are you sure those are designed to come out?
  24. I think thats a very cool idea; I would call mine the dumb guy with no skills grind. Its designed to take the whole course out of play!

As usual thanks again; I keep looking at these because they have such a clean no nonsense appearance. Kinda sucks that this one is non-conforming, thats an issue for me but moving on...
