  1. Who's arguing? Uhh, that would be d-u-m-b.
  2. I'm afraid we'll never know the real truth about this. I've always wondered one thing, though: If there is no difference between tour and retail driver heads why do they use different serial numbers? If they wanted to track the heads, different types of numbers aren't required--is TOxxxxxx B3 easier to enter than xxxxxxx? I don't get that. My personal experience: I've hit a lot of retail R510TPs(well over 20 different ones) and none had the sound/feel of my tour heads. Interestingly, my R510DF "Titanium" on the toe, my R510TP "Z" serial #, and my R510TP "T" serial plus batch # heads all have the same feel/sound even though they were manufactured at different times. Now, I don't have the time, desire, or repeatable swing to accurately measure the performance of these heads--they all go far enough. But the "tour" heads do have a different feel/sound. I don't have access to a tour R7 to compare with retail.
  3. ~$150 on Ebay. TM released a retail version that killed prices on these.
  4. Don't know why, but I have never seen the emoticon flags/symbols:  :money: :hogan: . Whatever you guys are seeing here, I don't. No "cool", no "money$?", no "Hogan". All the codes are set to on. So I'd like to get better emoticons or a solution. :)...Like this...when I enter the standard smilie symbol ":" plus ")" I get a smilie with a fever???
  5. There's plenty for sale on eBay, check there.
  6. Does it really matter? ;^)

You're all over the map on shaft weight but I'll throw in my 2 cents. If you like the Purple Ice/580XD combo you may not find another similar setup. The P.I. is a higher launch/spin shaft and the 580XD is a higher launch/spin head, so I'm assuming you control your drives with spin. I'd tip the P.I. 1/2" and try it, then tip another 1/2" if needed. If you have to try something new in Fujikura, try one of the Z-Com TW shafts(54,64,74(?),84). All the same except the SIQ.
  11. Ditto.
  12. I personally got this Tour 22° Taylor Made Rescue Mid from the Taylor Made Tour Van. It is the rare and desirable 22° head with a Dynamic Gold X100 shaft and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip, all original. There is light scratching on the face where I hit a few balls on the range--otherwise club is excellent. See pictures in link below. Price is $400.00 plus shipping. I only accept PayPal direct drafts--no credit cards(I don't have a business account.) First PM and payment gets this beauty. Thanks for looking. No trades, thanks. 13. The I-302s are just great irons, in my opinion. This is the only set of irons I have found that has the "tour" type grind on them that my Zodia Z101 ProIIs have.
  14. Update: With similar shafts, these driving irons are about equal in distance to the Rescue-Mids. I'm hitting the 3U-19° right at 230 yds. This is a surprisingly good club. :-)
  15. My experience with the RAC Utility TP 3U 19°: 1) As Chris says, very easy to hit...about the same as my Rescue Mid. Good feel, too. 2) Distance(~225 yds.) is shorter than my RM 19°(~235 yds.) and a little longer than my 3-iron 21°(~214 yds., I'm comparatively long with my long irons). 3) Trajectory is where this club shines. Nice low launch, especially off the deck. I'm a high ball hitter and my RM launches/flies too high for windy days. 4) Spin is lower so ball flies straighter on mis-hits. 5) I did not notice the bounce when playing off the deck, which is good. 6) Jury is still out on playing from the rough. I think the Rescue-Mid is a little better here. This club will replace my 19° Rescue-Mid on windy days. I'm going to get the lofts checked on both just to be sure they're the same. I think the shafts may account for some of the distance difference. comparison clubs: Taylor Made Tour Rescue-Mid 19° w/Aldila NV Hybrid 105-X Zodia Z101 Pro II 3-iron w/Project X 5.5
  16. Chris, My RAC Utility TP 3U 19° w/S300(that name is too long) arrived today in great shape. I really like the look/feel of it, but rain will delay my trying it. One thing I did notice is the face of this thing is hot! It feels almost as hot as the Rescue Mid, and my ball jumps off those. Will post a review when able. Thanks. :smile2:
  17. Prices for the Tour R7s are falling fast as people realize the TP head is the same as tour and you get the $180.00 expanded weight screw kit with the TP that most most Tour R7s don't come with. BSG is deleting posts that refer to falling R7 prices or questioning the value of tour R7 vs. TP, so you know it's a problem!!!
  18. Get one for me too, Joe! :money:
  19. I have the 553-X tipped 1/2" in a R510 DF. It bounces at 259 cpm at 44.75" making it about a 6.4 on the PCS equalized scale. The shaft has the same smooth feel that Speeders have. Kind of a lighter(much;)) 757. I'm playing it at D3 and that seems about right. I have hit my longest drives with this combination.....so far  .
  20. ;rofl

That ball speed indicates approximately 103 m.p.h. driver swing speed, assuming your swing mechanics are very good/excellent.
  22. If I were paying sponsor money to a player he better be wearing the Taylor Made R7 "Dual-Port" underwear! ;)
  23. Errr...your money, not mine. I don't buy promises from guys with zero feedback.
  24. Got 'em! They are in great shape. Once I pull those retail shafts/grips and put some S400s in these will be schweet! Thanks. :)
