Plays tighter than cpm indicates. Mid launch, low spin, anti-left. Control shaft. I would not tip it at all if you are going into a 9.5* Jbeam 425 tour head with that deep hosel - it will hit knuckleballs (but would be great in the wind)!

Love the shape and feel of the 425. I get best results with higher torque shafts in the Jbeams.

Wow. These are special. I have one of those shafts in my 2 iron and it is lush and keeps the flight down well! Good luck

Spoon I play an Accra SE80* X flex untipped in my Yamaha 3 wood. 3 woods are so hard to get right. This one has been my best performer for over 5 years. Ilima 80x was the next best performer (tipped half inch) in same head. Always a fine art to get a 3w to play consistently from both tee and fairway... Cheers D

Nah you need at least one for uber-windy links courses, one for tighter parkland, one for when your back is tight, one for when you are feeling fit........etc Doesn't mean you can't have exact same setup in 2 different lofts. That would be smart..............but that's also BOOOOOOORING!

Where does the new Egg rate amongst all of these, particularly for solid feel, forgiveness and accuracy? Not too worried about distance, can choke down on a driver off the tee for that. thanks
