  1. More info on the irons: Swingweight is D2, and 3 iron has original blue sticker saying Made in Japan. My best guess is mid 2000s because the PW is strong. Found the following specs: Make Maruman Model Conductor Pro Forged Blade (Maruman Sole) Dexterity Right-Handed Player Type Men’s Specs Club 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 PW Weight (g) 417 424 430 437 445 452 459 467 Length (”) 39.0 38.5 38.0 37.5 37.0 36.5 36.0 36.0
  2. Yammy wedges gone. Mizzy driver head still for sale. Maruman irons and Maruman driver head now super low price @ $200 + shipping. Totally original and not a blemish on them. Fire sale 'cos I need the cash!
  3. A surprise of some sort. Look forward to another game Freddie! D
  4. Yes Antz they have that older flow from very little in long irons to a little bit in the PW - that's why I showed the photo of the PW. The whole set has a very thin top line and they are very workable, meaty irons. Just too heavy for me now. As knowledgable people on this forum know - perception vs performance and scoring are two different things when it comes to a bit of offset in irons! To be honest, the TourStage set I play with now has a lot more offset in the AW and SW, and it does not trouble me one bit. I don't hook my approach shots, and in fact I hit less approaches and pitch shots heavy. They are beautifully designed and work very well.
  5. One time price drop else these will be gifted to my mate

Moral to Stew's story? You need at least 1 "moose slayer" driver and at least 1 driver that can handle "mongtard swings" Love your work Stew, AND, we all know exactly what you mean!

Nice putter Stew. Never seen face milling like that. GLWS
  8. Price drops.... Mizzy K75td 10.25* (10.5* open 0.25). Workshop Original driver head + cover (~205g) - have had my fun with this - plays like a JBeam 425 10* head, but more workable. $225 + shipping. These are very hard to find in this condition and loft!
  9. Best all round: PRGR TR Speed blades with original rifle fcm 6.0 Plenty long enough & very forgiving for a blade. Never felt impact like it. Perfect balance of mushy and crisp! The grind on PRGR irons also just suits a digger like me.
  10. Sweeeet. Like it.
  11. I play the old prgr zoom 4+ with heavy Fuji HB x shaft - irreplacable club!
  12. I know this is a "What's in the bag" thread, but some bags we don't need so much information.......
  13. Oh except for my LW - I think that was made this century (love that club!)
  14. Good thread Stew. Just built an Epon Technity 420 with Axiv V 7072. Both oldies, but anyone who has been around this site a while knows how good they are. Just won monthly medal with this old bag of tricks (on a very long track). My whole bag is "old", even though I have tried a lot of the "new"!
  15. Pm sent. Interested in Jbeam head to Australia, (for easier shipping), otherwise will take the full club and use the shaft in a 3 wood. Thanks - some nice gear here! Darren

Have been lucky enough to attend the last 4 days and watch this kid. Clean ballstriker - his driver has a little wear mark on the face about the size of a dime. I don't think he would have been happy with his putting. Kept giving himself chances and missing. Bright future for sure
  18. What about mens set prgr (m37 shafts)?
  19. Loving the face profile on this version! Looks solid.
  20. Many happy returns Tario!
  21. All SOLD! Driver head sale coming up.....
  22. Epon i33 and I getting on way too well, so wifey keeps saying "what are you going to do with all of those putters you never use?". She has a point, so all these to go to good homes at very reasonable prices: (1) Hiro Matsumoto MZ-05 35 inches, best feel of the lot (como come headcover) - $150 (SOLD off to Sydneytown) (2) G-Field M2 Plus Premium Zone mallet 34 inches - (original grip and headcover) - $140 (SOLD off to Adelaide) (3) Gauge Design “The One” 35 inches, (Ping pistol grip, mint condition with original head cover) - $140 (SOLD off to Melbournetown) (4) PRGR CM-6 soft mini mallet 35 inches, (as new with head cover) - $90 (SOLD off to Adelaide) All prices ex shipping Trades? Yes - Fubuki K 70s or similar (s, sx or x flex) 70g driver shafts...
  23. I see a 70s in my future based on all of this. I need to be "fully-fit" to get the most out of the Dia X 70s, but boy they make good shafts. FWIW, Fubuki K 70s goes OK too. Easy to load and very consistent flight. I reckon if Dia X and Fubuki K had a baby - this would be it!!
