Less is More! Smaller Driver Heads
I agree with the Miura driver. Bought two of them a few years ago from TSG and gave one to my brother. He has since gone with the Burners or what have you on the latest craze but at the end still come back to the Miura 9* as his main gamer. I also have the Epon 380 but prefer the deeper face Miura more than the old Epon.

Miura MB-5003 vs Yururi Raw Flat Back Blade
I haven't hit the Yururi flat black but do find the raw wedges feel harder also than other JDM forgings.

Fake Epon 502s floating around..
C, you almost have to post a side by side pictures and identify suspected area in order to tell which is which.

JDM woods for the newbie
Forget about the EMB please and get the EMS instead if you are going that route. The difference is night and day. Nakashima is a US brand with a Japanese name and heads are made in China so it is not JDM. I wouldn't say they are bad, just don't know much about it and probably wouldn't try them. I suspect most of the guys here wouldn't play it.

JDM woods for the newbie
Man, you have a +11 handicap? You can walk all over Tiger now.

JDM woods for the newbie
From your driver list, IMO only the EMS and Impact might be suitable for you at this time. The Shuttle is definitely worth a consideration. As for FW, please rule out the Epon as it is definitely not for high handicappers. The Egg is worth considering or Yamaha D fw.

Lie angle??
It has always been my understanding that too flat a lie would result in more toe hits which open the club face with balls going to the right. On the other hand, a more upright lie would be more heel hits and causes the face to close on impact with ground sending the ball to the left or draw/hook. Besides using a lie board, the best way would be to use a grass range instead of off mat.

Recommendations for 4 wood, shallow face
I think thats exactly the opposite in fw design nowadays. For better players with higher ss, a deeper the face with the CG higher vs. shallower face with lower CG for slower ss or senior players. That's the reason the Epon FWs are more difficult to hit than anything else if one does not have the swing speed.

Recommendations for 4 wood, shallow face
But is the Arm plus shallow face? I think the regular OnOff fw is shallower than the plus which is similar to the Yamaha V.

Recommendations for 4 wood, shallow face
If it is 14* then it must be the V model. Swallow your pride and go with the D FW and it is much easier to hit and launch. I like the D 4w so much and just added a 15* 3w. The stock Yamaha shaft is great for us 'active' seniors. Absolutely no need to change the shaft. I still have the G-Field 4 wood but it is taller face and smaller head like the RC CV Pro series.

C, the new Yamaha D or V twin rail is a no brainer. For my handicap and SS, I have the D FW. If you have the higher SS, you can consider V model or the JDM Titleist 910F 17*.

Epon Ht 3 wood price?
You would find ballpark on the pro shop or just email Gocchin for quote.

Af302 copper straight from the shop
I am down to only one Epon in my bag so perhaps it is time for me to change Avatar too and I am in a 'slump' anyway.

Af302 copper straight from the shop
Okay C, I guess we would have to toss for the Avatar now.

Team yoshimura pro spec LD driver
I am surprised that they have a 9.5. I recalled that the old LD was like a 6 or 7*.

Team yoshimura pro spec LD driver
I had three of their hybrids a few years back. Good feel but not particularly long with stock shafts. They are cheaper (price wise) than other well known JDM.

Game improvement equipment
As a matter of fact, thats not true. Most JDM brands cater more to regular duffers like the rest of us than pro or low handicappers. Take Yamaha irons, while a lot of discussion here centered on the V Forged and V forged tour, the largest selling model would be the D Black and D Steel which are game improvement models and so is the OnOff Red, the XXIO non forged. If you want to go Epon, you can pick the 701 and 702 instead of the 5 series.

Iron shafts
B, between the two locations, I have about the same if not more. I still have JDM TM bubble shaft (blue) woods and 300cc PRGR Data.

Note to 151 users
For me, at least, I would tee the ball higher for my 151 for best result while slightly lower for my EMS which has a shallower face.

ONOFF Labospec RB247, any opinions?
B, I am hitting the 2010 Yamaha 4 wood well in Canada the past week and would probably get the new 2011 (with twin rails) 4 wood or the new JDM Titleist 910F 17* when I go back next weekend.

ONOFF Labospec RB247, any opinions?
T, your old OnOff with Roddio are still working fine for me even though they are not forged. While I am not using them daily, I just cannot bring myself in selling them, The Raddio I-6 is great.

Feedback wanted on Saqra irons
The CB is a delight to hit if you are a good ball striker but it is not a GI irons for sure. If you have been playing JDM irons for awhile, the reverse offset shouldn't bother you at all. It was the norm until a few years ago.

range finders...
I have been using the Nikon 350 for the past 2 years now and no issue whatsoever. I find the bushnell V2 to be no better or faster and cost much more. Most club comps would allow range finder now but probably one with slope.
