  1. Jack, what happen to May and June?
  2. I am having all sort of problem hitting a 15* 3 wood off the deck consistently hence only hit a 4 or 7 wood now on fairway. I had a chance to hit the current model of XXIO 4 wood today on course and it must be one of the easiest fairway wood I had ever hit.
  3. I can tell you that you are definitely not a 24 if you are a EU40. I am a EU39 and I use the Mizuno 24.5 EEE. Measuring the foot is not necessary the best guide since you would be wearing a heavier sport socks. The Asian last is definitely wider. A EEE would be similar to an extra wide in NA standard.
  4. That's interesting. A 3w being a shorter club and a heavier head yet the cpm is comparatively softer that T's or bogeydog's driver set up.
  5. With Chris' AF151 lower weight at 194g vs yours 201g and longer shaft (by 0.75"), it would explain the difference in CPM. For sure, the new Crazy is still stiffer than most JDM of comparable flexes.

I hope they are better than the other EGG.
  7. Price negotiation best done thru PM.
  8. Would this be or pre T-Zoid or post T-Zoid (JDM spec)? I still have a set of T-Zoid Ti driver, 3, 4 and 5 woods in my basement.
  9. You would be surprised from what I have seen. I actually played with a Crazy T80 shaft that perhaps cost less than $100. The guy who owns it never heard of Crazy but bought it with a new fake R9 head in China for $150. Unless you are a Japanese club ho or a forum member here, you wouldn't have heard of Crazy. Right?
  10. Can we assume there would be a graphite shaft option?
  11. I think you are right about X forged or X proto but my KZG CB IIM was forged in Japan by Kyoei.

I think my Apple must be slow as I can only see the 2010 Burner TP and the 2009 Burner Forged on the Tourspec pro shop. There was a non TP version of Burner in 2009.
  13. The Vega certainly reminds me of the Tour Edge Bazooka imax iron-wood.
  14. The Y is right but the company is Yonex.

From the Japanese Taylormade site, I see only the 2009 Burner irons and no 2010 yet. There is the Burner forged and Burner TP plus the two newest R9 forged.
  16. T, Remember the Crazy Black 80 I was telling you about? If you like, I can get it for you for $100 (I have to mark it up 100% for my trouble) direct from China but said made in Japan right on the shaft. People should know there is no free lunch. Since I am spending part time in Asia, I do come across many fake stuff and have actually play quite a few of theme for the fun of it. For those who know the JDM market and pricing structure, to be fair, TSG's prices is somewhere in between for North America and Europe customers but you are getting secure shipping and free 'consulting' service otherwise you would not be able to get in Japan and such hard to get items as Golds or Kamui.

Raw finish rust like crazy in Asia no matter how one takes care of it.
  18. I have the 08 model and it is great and very light weight. From my understanding, one can orient these special cleats to enhance one swing to hit either draw, fade or straight.
  19. From my own experience, I would deduct 10 to 15 cpm from those frequencies that supplied by JDM shaft website to be those using a 5 inch clamp with a normal head weight of say 200 g at a finished length of 45" with grip.
  20. I have one on a driver and do not like it. Since most of them are white or light color base, it gets dirty very quickly. As for tackiness and comfort, it is actually not as good as the Nowon Expert.

For whatever it is worth, I have just installed a SR on my Legacy. It is 45" non tip and the cpm is 232, a R flex by North American standard. My original stock S was 241 cpm at the same length. My normal SS is 88 mph or just under 40 ms.
  22. T, perhaps you can ask whether Kamui can do a 16.5/17* 4-wood. It seems that a 4 wood is popular now as it would free up the bag for a 7 wood plus a couple hybrids.
  23. If I have to choose one go to club besides the Putter it would be my Legacy driver. So far I have not seen any increase in distance with the newly shafted Bassara Griffin but at least it is in the short grass most of the time.
  24. If you are a 26 hdcp, pick the 701 over the 501 or 502 period.
  25. I am very surprised that so many are trying to qualify for the US Open.
