T: It just couldnt be as easy as 701 or 501 not matter how you look at it (not from actually trying it). It might be easier or more forgiving that other blades but still not a set for a high(er) handicapper. Golf is still about scoring and not about a good shot here and there.

It doesnt make sense to have more offset than the 301. The bigger the face progression number, the less offset (have not actually compare the two.)

Is it Taiwan or the PRC for the VR? I thought the TM was forged in Taiwan.

Jack: Besides being a iron ho', you seem to be a putter ho too. If you have a chance next, try the Matsumoto MG8 which is a heavy 565 g total. I like it so much that I have 2, one in Toronto and one in Hong Kong. My new Whitlam Devon is a gift from friends and surprisingly good feel and roll with a heavy 365g head (changeable.) Since the putter is the money club, I dont like to change often.

I can only admire it from afar as I know I am not good or young enough to play these beauties.

For what it is worth, I recently hit a friend's Geotech hybrid (19.5 and 23) both with Machline hybrid in R flex. While I would prefer a S/R, the combo is so easy to hit and great projectory. I would be ordering the hybrid shaft myself soon. I am already playing the 7061 proto in the driver and fw65.

T; I note that the new V forged (non tour) graphite is a GD tour AD 75 in blue now. Is this shaft the same as the old one and just a different color scheme?

Can they do this color treatment with the new cb2006?

T, I would love to see the new V forged, pic and spec. Have been considering the 07/08 version of V with Tour AD75 but would wait to see the difference now.

The AD Pros at JPY15,000 per shaft is practically a steal compared to the Tour AD 105,115 iron shaft at JPY30,000 each.

I doubt that it would accommodate upper 90s but definitely upper 80s. With 238cpm spec by AXIV, I suspect the actual installed cpm would be 220 to 225 at 45" with 198 to 200 g head.

Tempting but probably no as I still like my 460zr (better feel than the 101?) which is my back up driver besides my AF101.

T, What would the tolerance that you expect from Epon in terms of loft? Would it be higher or lower to stated?

I had the Roddio 6WBA stiff once on a Epon 460 and hated it. As T can attest, there is no in between with the Roddio; it is either love or hate. Now I have the Machline 7061 Proto on a AF101 and on a Mizuno A25 and love the feel of the shaft with the Mizuno a slight edge on forgiveness. I have yet to try the MD6 but it is very popular with the JPGA.

I note that, as with all Miura models, the 2006 comes in both steel fit and carbon fit which is slightly heavier. Would carbon fit heads be offered at the proshop as well selected as graphite shafts option?

Some guy in WRX would tell you that the irons are really a US tour van version but we know better.

'Japan only' really doesnt mean Japan only but other Asian countries would also be getting the same lines hence English would be a good thing particularly with the major brand.

Is this the Fubuki? I have not seen the actual or pic of the Fubuki shaft but the F would be available on September 12th according to Fuji's site.

The Ali'slei was not designed or targeted at the North American market hence it is not even on the English website. The average golfers from Asia think it is a great shaft as most cannot play the white board. The Fubuki must be targeted to NA market with a name like that as with Bonzai hybrid from Fujikura which is not available any place else except NA.
