  1. RMX Adjustable Drivers - 3 models RMX 01 445cc RMX 02 460cc RMX Tour Fujita Limited Model http://youtu.be/Wwatij8cigc
  2. Today marked the announcement of the new Yamaha line for 2014. First impressions are that the products look very good save for the over stamping/branding on a few of them. Love the new cavity backs and the blade is actually quite nice. We of course have demos coming in next month and as always I will blog about each new product in detail. In the meantime check out the video previews of all the products! Promo video for full lineup (the videos below are split off from this video for drivers and irons). http://youtu.be/r3pOZUf4pRw
  3. Taylormade and Baldo are of course NOT compatible. Only jbeam is because jbeam makes the TRPX head. Most people have not changed the weights. Stock setting is a slight draw but barely. 1 or 2g in back, 4g in heel, 3g in toe.
  4. Thanks Michael and Brian, you are both a pleasure to help which makes it easy for me!
  5. V, you had gotten head only so perhaps the shaft is not optimal for the head? Try doing the weights and see what happens though the weight in the back should already be the lightest.
  6. Great to hear B. Considering how many drivers you have tried over the years, the TRPX sounds awesome for you!
  7. Thanks for the kind words! You are always very easy to help which is what makes it easy! Glad you like the driver and that it is performing for you!
  8. Take it from me Jeff, I think you and Michael would get along quite well. (^_^)
  9. The finish is what they call black chrome. Yes they changed the lines in the cavity so that all 3 would match as you said. Yea I don't like the TS on the sole... even the sole looks messy with that and the number and forged.
  10. Lighter than wraptech by 5-6 grams. Cheaper than the wraptech cause no need for carbon reinforcing. Stronger than wraptech due to new type of steel thus even thinner walls than wraptech resulting in more feel, more distance.
  11. Technology has definitely improved, as have materials and manufacturing process all making for longer, more forgiving drivers but there is no general LONGEST ONE. Everyone makes good points here. I have always said, the best driver in the world is the one that works best for you.
  12. Nippon touts it as the world's lightest steel shaft, starting from 73.5 grams and up, It utilizes a new steel called NZNS60 which is stronger than the typical steel used in other steel shafts meaning they can make it thinner and ligher. The tout the Zelos as Carbon like feel and distance but steel control and dispersion. Designed for an easy launch and more carry for those who want to play light weight steel but need more distance without sacrificing control.
  13. There is no such thing. Nobody every said any of these drivers are the longest ever. If they were nobody would buy anything else. It all depends on each individual. Great performers, yes sure there are many. But being fit for right driver and shaft combo is everything.
  14. Its interesting to see them use RMX as the image branding for their new line as the REMIX did not sell that well and there was a huge recall at the beginning for a defect. By adding the word RMX they make it even more cluttered as if it wasn't already with Yamaha Inpres X Tourmodel. We should have the pre launch demos next month and as I do every year I will preview them for the forum and blog.
  15. Awesome feedback B, the TRPX and Messenger combo is turning out quite nice for lots of players. You hit on a lot of very good points here. Both the shaft and the head are forgiving which make for an easy combo to play and easy distance + stability. The key as I noted before, TRPX designed the Messenger not with stiffness, distance or control as the priority, but timing. With timing comes all of the above. If a shaft does not have good timing, you don't meet the ball well or square and you don't produce results. The drivers are already great heads but the Messenger adds to its greatness.
  16. I'm still waiting for a few the customers to leave feedback, they all emailed me to say TRPX is working out great but I want them to post here!
  17. I love the DWD, I almost want to keep it (^_^)
  18. Guys sorry for the late posting. Photos taken and post 3 and 4 are updated with the Hiro and DWD. My favorites of the 4!
  19. Spec sheet is in the link in the first post. Top lines are in each listing.... these are not new irons, just a limited release where they decided to make a combo. There are also live photos of the irons in the gallery: http://www.tourspecg...r__DESC__st__48
  20. I didn't even know it was coming out but it seems Tourstage is following suit with Srixon which released Limited edition Z725 driver and Z irons as well. Yes only 9 and PW in the blades, the MC or CB in 3456 and blades in 789PW would have been good.
  21. Its not really trial and error. Configuring the weights is the same as any other adjustable driver. More weight in the heel = more draw biased. More weight in the toe = more fade biased. Moe weight in the back = CG further back and more launch (though it takes a lot more weight to make a huge difference in the height of the trajectory). This is the same as with any other driver.
  22. I've already been telling customers to swap around the weights. The default setting is the heavier weight in the heel for a draw bias. I love this driver... between Chris and I we now own 4.... a D and S each!! (^_^)
  23. I should also note one of our customers just bought a Crazy CRZ435 La Bomba paired with an X-Line Concept Stiff shaft! Could be an interesting combo!
  24. Crazy contacted me to let me know they had put aside 5 satin sets (52+58) if the last edition of their Toyoshima wedges for TSG. I had totally forgotten about them (for months!). Michael grabbed a set here: http://www.tourspecg...uilt-dream-bag/ and now there are 4 sets left. If anyone wants a set just let me know! UPDATE! ALL SOLD OUT.... wow that only took a few hours.
