Yes electric is a way to put it, the CG is quite forward in the T.388 and a bit less so in the XV. The fairway wood is not as deep so in relation to the drivers the CG is not as high nor as forward but the design of the head still gives it that pop.

Well distance is overated (^_^) If all your drivers are straighter and you hit more fairways with the 70X then that is the shaft you should use. If you need an X-Line just let me know! -
Actually jbeam released the head first then Crazy rebranded it the CRZ435. They should be the exact same head performance and feel wise. The heads that Crazy use save for the new 450, all existed as other brands heads before they became Crazy heads. Crazy is after all a shaft company so they need brands like Jbeam and AFD and Solid Contacts and George Spirits (first gen 450) to help them.

Stew you start off your self and say the X 70X is not the real match for the head and you previously said its more of a control combo with that shaft so for you to expect it to be as long as your longest combos is expecting too much. The fact though you said it is penetrating, and as long as most good drivers you have and dead straight though says a lot. If the feel is lacking its probably the shaft though we must all keep in mind feel is very very subjective. wmclarenf1 likened the feel to the Technity 460ZR which is one of the best feeling drivers ever. I personally love the feel as well. I took the TRPX over the Ryoma. It will be interesting to see how it goes after some tweaking and you get a real distance shaft in there... Why not try the X-Line... very solid PLUS distance. -
I reviewed the 5W, love the feel and the look at address. Its like a mini XV driver with the same matte finish and shape. Face is very nice pop, strong trajectory and very accurate. http://www.golftoimpress.com/s-yard-xv-fairway-wood-review/

I have been trying to do this cloning business for the last five years with no success... it means working 7 days a week all year round and around the clock!! (^_^) -
He has been playing Srixon for the longest time, throughout his amateur career as well. He only officially signed recently when he went pro but even as an amateur the Z725 were made for him back at the Masters last year. He then switched to a combo set of 725 and 925. But this year he went with just the 925. This image is a bit dated as its from early summer late spring. And this is one of his bags from a couple of years ago as an amateur, before the new Z725 and 925 came out.

I never translated it because I don't even use that chart to fit. It is very generic and does not always apply but Mark pretty much said ie if you play a longer club go here and if you have an early release here etc. But it does not always work that way. You are better off working directly with me or flying in for a fitting. (^_^)

As far as I know, Jbeam might not make any more Crazy heads as they have moved instead to work with Crazy's competitor TRPX. The president of Jbeam and ABEX from TRPX are friends and former classmates so Jbeam is producing TRPX's woods and in turn TRPX will help Jbeam with visual design and image branding.

Your setup came out quite stiff as I wasn't sure what to expect as your X-Line build was one of the first. Glad to hear it is stable as that is the point of the X-Line. -

Its definitely a great driver for forgiveness and distance, very balanced. They are about to release its successor. Can't wait to see it! -
Max Soul 450/410 Ti Driver vs Ryoma, Crazy, Kamui, TRPX
gocchin replied to sundowner's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Honestly Dirk, the verdict is yet to be out on the MaxSoul Superior driver. It really is an underground type brand which not even people here in Japan know about. They have a driver and a fairway wood much like Ryoma except Ryoma is far better known. I love Rating Gate also pushes MaxSoul heavily in their own shop so I'm not surprised they rank it so highly. We can get the MaxSoul driver for those who are interested as well as we can every other driver in Japan. -

The weights are of course 100% compatible. No problems using jbeam or Crazy/jbeam weights. The weights are of course adjustable and can be tweaked like Tom did to match each individual's performance. -

XXIO is definitely the biggest by far for lady pros here. -
Which Japanese companies offer the biggest endorsements?
gocchin replied to benseattle's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The "Tour Issue" phenomena that exists in the US does NOT exist here in Japan. Japanese golfers already consider their gear as high quality as "Tour Issue" type heads golfers seem to want to pay a premium for in the US. As for endorsements, Srixon and Tourstage are the biggest domestic brands with the largest staff on the Japan tour. TM, Titleist and Callaway which have Ryo are also rather big.Tee up money is something that does not happen here at least not that I have seen on tour. Interestingly amateurs have quite a mixed array of clubs, many playing clubs from smaller brands and even boutique brands as well like jbeam, crazy, even george spirits and epon. The biggest faces in Japanese pro golf are of course Ryo and Ai Miyazato and now of course Hideki Matsuyama and as poorly as Ryo did this year he still had a positive impact for Callaway here in Japan. -

Thanks Michael for the great info. Seems like so far the TRPX is performing well for many people. Lots of good feedback and results! -
Some people have requested a comparison of the new Triple XXX - TRPX Drivers, The D-013 (deep) vs the S-013 (shallow). As I have noted before the differences are minute but there are differences. I snapped a few shots of the drivers but please keep in mind that it is not easy to always get the exact same angle and view for both drivers so these images are to be used as an approximate reference only and not as an exact to the mm comparison. ABEX, chief designer basically says, if you tee it high but still want to keep the trajectory strong and spin low, the D is the way to go. But if you tee it lower and produce more of a level blow but want a tad more launch, the S is the way to go. Again it does not always work this way and every player is different (as we discovered with the S-Yard T.388 which was supposed to be teed low which was not always the case). If you need help choosing the right head we are always here to help as are your peers here in the forum.

Art sounds very promising. Messenger shaft is stable but very automatic. TRPX says its is a very all around shaft and very forgiving. I also like the feel and think it is spongy like the 460ZR and I get more roll from the TRPX than from the Maxima. For me the TRPX is more stable and is way better in the wind. For those waiting I will post some side by sides of the D and S models tonight. -

That is an arc reactor in both the cavity and face in chronos. Spoon's face is a bullseye. -

Finish is definitely top class, from the edges to paint, to the metallic sparkles in the crown. Very sharp head. For me my head looks new even after a month and a half of use. I find the S as forgiving as the Maxima otherwise it would not have replaced it in my bag.
