  1. Grandizer, Mazinger Z are all awesome but where did you get an Ayanami Rei figure of that size?? I gotta get one!
  2. Last days guys! Got till Midnight PST tonight to send essays to me or post WITB. Thanks!
  3. D, simply amazing... you grew up loving all the same anime and mecha I did. Hontoni sugoi desu! (^_^)
  4. I also had a proto shaft here for testing, a 68g 5 ply Stiff flex model that installed at 256cpm. Here are the launch results I compiled all using the same head:
  5. Axiv has always had the lighter weight shafts, they add two new models with mid/low kick points for irons. Another set to consider is the Mach Line iron shafts. Honma also has ARMRQ graphite but cost more than all of these other brands.

I am eagerly anticipating what is coming at the end of the month or hopefully earlier (^_^)... will be awesome for sure... it is quite possible I know what it is... yeah I do. (^_^)
  7. I've owned all three... ViQ Forged is definitely the most forgiving then followed by the i506's and the Z101's. The Z101's are some of the best looking irons ever but they are definitely player's irons. The i506 is forgiving but it has a sharper leading edge which can be problematic for diggers. The ViQ Forged is is great all around, feel, looks and performance.
  8. Just for information sake I hit my wife's Ladies Epon 6 iron further than most 5 irons in all the other sets I hit, what does that mean? Not much cause the loft on that 6 iron is like 24/25* and ladies flex graphite... (^_^)
  9. Agreed again, on the Vector here the Epon was a low spinner.... I had three 105-110mph swingers hit it shafted with an Axiv V-spec and it was longer than any of their own drivers. Its very possible it could be short for some but almost all the reviews I see are positive and about it being long. Many times it's an adjustment period I've seen for people to get used to the different feel.
  10. For me the Epon is the longest driver I've ever hit... however for every club you mentioned, there are too many factors that affect distance... You really can't compare iron distances with all the different lofts and styles of irons. An Epon Type X or AF-701 will be far longer than the Type J or AF-301 but they both offer different benefits. Wedges, the main priority is accuracy, feel and spin, for me I don't really consider distance on wedges as my priority... The Epon driver for many is one of the longest drivers... for some it might not be... a lot has to do with the shaft and the player. It's pretty much impossible to "set the record straight". If the epon was hands down the longest best feeling driver ever, nobody would buy anything else. For me I'm thrilled with the feel, performance and quality of Epon. It is not the be all and end all of brands, there is no such brand in my opinion, there's just too much good stuff out there!
  11. Very nice! You're either really good at photoshop or you sacrificed a club on fire for this photo shoot!
  12. 4 Days to go and counting.... (^_^)
  13. The original M3 Hit 3W was 192cc, this tour version is 165cc. Epon's is 170cc for comparison.
  14. This looks amazing... PRGR always makes top quality clubs.... the original M3 Hit was a lot bigger, I like the toned down colors and shallower face...
  15. Looks very Epon/Endo-ish.... I wonder why? (^_^)
  16. Same pic here:
  17. Holy cow what a price!
  18. So you're finally pulling the trigger! Awesome. Like I said, if the PT-6 works for you, stick with it. The QT recommendation is a good one, seems like many like it's stability and ability to get the ball up off the deck with it's lower kick.
  19. I have 701's on the way and type X here so I will do the side by sides... (^_^)
  20. The cutting edge would have to be Roddio, Axiv and Graphite Design Tour AD. The Roddio's are the latest and greatest supposedly followed by the Axiv, the Graphite Design has been around longer but is quite proven and very popular in Japan. I have irons shafted with both Axiv and Graphite Design. I do like them both. The GD play a little stiffer and the Axiv a little smoother. Both have excellent performance feel and dispersion. GD is available in 65g, 75g, 85g 95g, and a Pro model 105g weights Axiv is available in 50-60g, 70-80g, and 90-100g weights Roddio is available in 65-68g, 82-83g, 105-108g weights I order of cost from cheapes to most expensive it would be Graphite Design, Axiv, Roddio
  21. Launch is wayyyy to far, I live in the east end.... even going to jeff's is a trek....
  22. Season is never over! Still two months left then off-season training begins! (^_^)
  23. I've been wanting to hit a Td+ for the longest time. Please bring one back for me. (^_^)
  24. It is offered in Copper B. For those who haven't noticed all the new Epon gear is in the Pro Shop. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/proshop/
  25. It's always fun doing reviews, and one thing I discover is there are definitely lots of awesome clubs out there, but not every club is for every person. A typical RC user may be turned off by this club, but I think what Royal Collection is doing with this FW is they are trying to tap into a different market segment that they previously were not really catering to. That said, if you have troubles with FW's and the size doesn't bother you, this could work without a doubt. (I think I will add what I just said to the review (^_^)). For you dkats, being an RC fan, you'd be better off with an Epon Tecnity FW, or the new AF-201, similar deep face, compact head and solid feel. A different sole from RC types but one that works well also. Very rewarding for the better player as the older RC FW's like the CV Pro are.
