pretty close to identical to the 301's
  2. I sent one just about the same time.... still unread.
  3. Well... I have to admit that the DI shaft in a FW did not work for me.... at all. The Quottro Tech has been the best FW for me, that and I still love the PT's If the DJ is like QT then for me, should be worth trying. I don't even want to try the DI in a driver shaft because the FW's were so bad. And it's not so much as the GD doesn't do it for the driver cause they are good but the Crazy's just plain old work better for me.
  4. I think I agree with this. For the reasons you've stated. I'd like to see the lofts on the irons..... The large majority of players have know idea the true lofts of their irons. I think it might actually get the OEM's on the same page. Now, having said that, the guys on here know their lofts.... but we are the small minority. Unfortunately, I like to take out different sets of irons and play. For example, I put the OnOff forged into play a couple of days a go just for fun.... My short irons were pretty messed up (long) because the lofts aren't even close to the Personals. I have never been much of a driving iron player and struggled with the 901's when they came out. Would love to see an update and give them a shot again after having made some changes to the swing recently. On a side note, I have a cover to the 901, says 25* but obviously fits any of them. Someone wants to pay the shipping and needs one I'd give it away. It's in as new condition.
  5. Someone voted in the poll.... For a driver shaft, Crazy is far and a way the best shaft for me. FW's and rescues it's Graphite Design
  6. I have to agree, completely I had a feeling you were going to say that...
  7. Okay.... I had the original Egg Spoon, 15*. Stock shaft was okay but nothing special. Installed the Crazy FW80 and the club just came alive. For me it was the best FW in every way I'd ever owned. New HD - stock shaft: The slightly larger size appears (to me) much larger. Inspires more of a I can't miss it sensation. Sound, no more KaTink, sounds more KaTank, much better sound IMO Feel, I can't believe how much more solid it feels. More sledgehammer like. Feels more dense..... I'm assuming the extra weight has a lot to do with it. Performance, Maybe it's the honeymoon period but this is a noticeable improvement in every aspect. My confidence with this club just increases every time I hit it. Off the tee it's almost as long as my Driver. I'm in love. I have 2 different shafts I was going to put in and try but.... I think I'm going to wait just a bit as the stock shaft is "doing it" right now. I wouldn't mind a bit more height (trajectory) but I hate to even mess with it. I'm sure I'll put the FEX in soon but.... dang..... Only thing I wish is it was 1-2* flatter lie angle. I'm chocking it about an inch+ which helps bring the lie a bit more flat. At 43" length it doesn't seem to do anything but make it even easier to hit. With the distance I'm getting chocking down is not hurting it. Did I mention I'm in love?????

From what I've found.... looks like flight is between the 101 and 102, all 3 landing about same distance but gives a bit more distance because of more roll out..... not sure how, optimum spin? diagram wasn't specific..... supposed to be just slightly less forgiving than the 152, more forgiving than 102 I have a feeling this Driver is going to feel like Heaven of Earth which will be a big selling point.
  9. Use the Wilson 50 ball.....
  10. Most important rule to follow... never trust a range ball(s)...... Okay..... isn't the lighter shaft supposed to help swing the club just a wee bit faster? that would account for a bit of extra distance. When I was comparing SS's with different shafts it seemed the lighter shaft combo was a slightly higher SS. My other thought would be with a bit faster swing one might be slightly less consistent with the swing. Now, we have spin to put into the equation........ loft(s)........aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. Pardon me while I go have a nervous breakdown.... Not easy being a club ho... always looking for the perfect, magic setup..... inquiring minds want to ho.. I mean no!!!!
  11. I had that exact set up until my buddy borrowed it and his bag was stolen. If I only had the SS for that shaft.. This is the best FW combo there is... and at less than half of retail. Somebody smart will pick this up real soon.

IMO, I'd say as long as the shaft was the right match for your SS, No. A couple of years a go my SS was much faster than now. A couple of shoulder surgeries slowed it way down and I really haven't noticed much difference in feel with the different SS's As my SS has slowly been coming back as long as the right shaft is used it's all good
  13. Obviously I'm not T or C but... I played my Crazy shafts at around 40* F for a couple of weeks last winter with no problem. Can't say as I ever really gave it a second thought. I am very careful not to slam the club down on the ground.... but with careful use I'll be surprised if there is a problem hitting the ball at colder temps. The FW80 impacted some cold, damn near frozen ground a few times when swinging.

Monaccos in stiff? I'll take em. Shoot me a PM if you do, we'll talk about a Putter trade....
  15. Agreed..... and some better/more pics??
  16. I have found the same to be true for myself. With the higher lofted head I am able to use just about any weight shaft.
  17. sandee11 is right about getting a 10.5 Ryoma. The difference in the launch between the 9.5 and 10.5 is very noticeable.
  18. His screen name should be SPAM MAN or I SELL FAKE CLUBS or I SHOULD BE BANNED or SOME ONE SHOULD SHOOT ME....... OR.....

Having seen this bad boy in action I'd scoop this up in a heart beat if I had the SS for it.. Did you mention how nice a sound this produces? No clanks here.
  20. The majority of the people on wrx have no clue about Yamaha golf eq. Zero Practically a waste o time to list JDM eq. there Why didn't you bid??
  21. I even have sellers remorse and I didn't sell it!!!!! .
  22. FAKE As mentioned the paint fill is wrong By the time they pay the paypal fee's, ebay fee's they are getting $400 Wholesale on 3-PW is more than $400 and you can make an offer and they'll take even less. If it seems to good to be true....... RUN Obviously this is just my opinion. I've got a $100 here that I'd be willing to bet they are fake
  23. This was traded a long time a go.....

Okay, this is a bit off topic but... I'm curious if the other 8.5* heads you've had have been USDM or JDM. ? I ask because we know the Epon is a true loft of 8.5*. Most USDM are higher loft than stated, sometimes as much as 2* which would make them closer to 10-10.5* true loft. Have you had the loft checked on your 8.5 Titleist? It would sure explain why the Epon is harder to launch and not because of old age. ;) Just wondering...... okay, back on topic..... GLWS :)
