  1. I don't know if I should say yes or no..... I could send pics though.... ;)
  2. Chris, Hang on to it and bring it to Piute next Weds. If I can hit the S better than the SR ( I doubt it but would love to try :) ) I'll take it.

Funny you would say that as I had my 420 w/i'lima out with the rest of the big dogs hitting shots and checking SS and ball speeds. My 420 is non conforming and what the rep showed today is the Ball speed with the Kamui was higher. It wasn't night and day but it was slightly higher. Had forgotten how good that combo feels as well.

Wish I had a CB 46 to try..... sounds like it would be a match made in heaven.
  5. I'll have them up tomorrow night. Will compare the egg and Kamui for reference as well. My first impression was this is not someones 1st choice if wanting this as your off the tee club. At least you won't be teeing it up much. This thing looks like it was made to pick ball off the fairway.
  6. My 3 wood is here and will b practicing Weds. and Thurs. with it, playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Full review next Monday. Shafted with a GD MD6 Stiff. She is a beauty, much more shallow than I was expecting.... quite long heel to toe. Kinda reminds me of the egg spoon looking at the face profile. From address looks pretty average/standard. I don't think it's going to be difficult getting the ball airborne. Sits and looks great. Sitting the club down you can feel this thing is going to be very solid.
  7. My buddy plays with one that looks like the Star Ship Enterprise. It's really hard not to tease someone with one of those..... But I do, you have to... it's your duty. :)

I once tested the ryoma with a quadra proto against the EMS with a Crazy LY-01 after having traded out the Quadra to a crazy TJ46 in the Ryoma, I realized I really didn't like the Quadra. How did the forgiveness compare?

Rep says..... 46.5" driver is 5mph faster, consistently than 45" driver. Stats say...... accuracy is effected. So far.... working on that is really helping my overall game.

Even better. Now you still have an early Xmas present available ;)

My son misses out on a bunch of clubs because he is a lefty. No hand me downs and very few lefty clubs available. I did get him a 60* kenmochi wedge head that we shafted with an NSPro 1150 wedge shaft. Raw head, you can plainly see the grinding, etc. He was playing a Vokey and absolutely loves this wedge. The way he hits it shows too. It is his "go to" wedge from a 100 yards in. Now he wants the 52 and 56*. My initial thoughts are, for the money you can't go wrong.
  13. Well... mine is head only so might see it soon. I have a GD MD sitting here in another 3 wood that I've decided to install. If that doesn't work I'll pull the Crazy FW80 out of the Egg and try. Something tells me this MD is going to work really well. Goodsie has pur/flo'd the shaft already so I'm going to have my local guy install. I can promise it will be done the day I get it and I'll be headed right to the course with it. Should be just a few more days....

I think you ]ll like the 420 better. Looks as close to perfect at set up as there is. Strangely the 420 is easier to hit as well
  15. I played these for almost a year. Genuine Golf ball killers. If they weren't the one and only set made in Satin I'd still be using them.
  16. I've tried to groove my swing with the Ryoma to catch the ball on the upper toe part of the sweet spot It does go farther. It can almost feel like a mis hit, until you get down the fairway and see how flippin far it went.

The AF502's have to be the softest feel. You can hardly feel the ball on sweet spot hits. Off center hits don't punish you but still provide feedback. For a sweet spot strike I'm really partial to my Pro Pref. Blades. Brings a smile to my face. :)

Do you mean swing harder??? or just spending too much time playing with it?? If you mean swinging harder..... that's part of the beauty of it. It shows you swinging harder is not always better.... spending to much time.... :)

Honestly varies a bit from year to year.... but, we play all year. Could be 55 and sunny, could be rainy and cold but it doesn't last long. come on down. be happy to help... Edit: NO SNOW

I would think a good shaft in the Adams would help the feel and performance... my Classic with a VooDoo by you shaft feels like crap and doesn't perform much better. In all fairness I'm sure a "better" shaft would make a diff. in the Classic. Really curious how the Adams will stack up.
  21. Sweet irons, nice review with pics.... thanks for posting and enjoy your babies. :)

Okay.... interesting range session today, 45" driver vs 46.5" driver Making this as short and sweet as possible.... The rep showed me that I swing the 46.5" driver 4-5mph faster than the 45" driver. Time after time after test after test the SS was faster with the longer driver. However..... It also showed that better contact was made, consistently with the 45" driver. Thank goodness for the Ryoma because I also believe because of the Ryoma head I am able to be a bit inconsistent with the longer shaft and still maintain distance. When the longer driver is hit well the distance gains are around 15 yards. Played with a "kid" today (he's 22) that was swinging an average speed of 118mph. Ball speed was usually around 160. Hate those kids. lol In brief, this is a must have for anyone for any reason that loves Golf. Too much fun and has helped my Golf swing as much as anything. I kid you not, I have increased my SS almost 10 mph in a week because of the PRGR rep showing me my most efficient swing.

Demolitionman ... who was a Marshall a few years back.... banned me for a year for disagreeing with him. You weren't allowed to have your own opinion. Shortly thereafter he banned himself from Golf (and wrx) because it had consumed him and ruined his life...... it was obvious he had problems... anyway.....
