New $1000 Aldila 125T shaft...
Apparently this thing is coming to the market soon. $1000, Lee Westwood was playing it. 125T carbon... This should be an interesting thread. I doubt there's a single fan on this forum who likes Aldila. http://golf wrx/109312/do-you-need-1000-shaft/

Please tell me the V is totally neutral. In every picture I've seen it appears to be slightly closed...

2011 Onoff Forged hosel size - anyone know, definitively?
Decided to go MCI's over SteelFibres and heard the 2011 Onoff forged irons have a hosel size of .370 which would perfectly match the MCIs. Can anyone confirm this? Right now I have Modus 3 Tour 120s in the Onoff's but apparently they are .355 shafts so maybe my club builder used shims, if indeed the Onoff's are .370. Anyway, if anyone can confirm, please let me know. Appreciate it. Rob.

MCI's - .370 into a .350/.355 iron.
Cool. Grinding down the hosel rather than grind down shaft makes more sense to me.

I agree. He says he has a machine that shaves the shaft down but I still think it makes more sense to adjust the hosel of the iron considering it's steel and although you're slightly, slightly altering the weight of the head, you're definitely not affecting strength or playability like you may be doing when shaving the carbon fibre of the shaft.

MCI's - .370 into a .350/.355 iron.
Decided to go with the MCI's in the TS 709 MC's. My concern is that the MCI's are .370 and the Tourstage irons are .350 or .355. What is the best way to go about installing these? I need some advice here. Thanks!

Heard that too, who's left at Matrix?

Veylix shafts
Funny, I was going to post a link from golfwrx about these new shafts. I was reading some Robo guy's review of the shafts on there yesterday and he absolutely loves them. Granted, he's friend with the guy who started the company. Love the look of them though!

Shimada Pros or SteelFibres for Tourstage 709 MC's?
Optimally, I'd put in the Fujikura MCI's but I don't feel like spending $750 for shafts so I've narrowed it down to the Shimada Pro (low launch and spin) or the SteelFibres 125. Thoughts? Thanks.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks.

Fujikura MCI
Actually the Recoils are a pure graphite shaft, according to Rob Ennis at UST..

Fujikura MCI
Thanks for the feedback. Very interesting!

For the Maxima - Narrowed it down to these shafts.
Technically calling someone a "f**k" isn't condescending. "Saying someone doesn't "get it", is. I realize you were just quoting my profile quote (which is strange enough, by itself) but come on man, you're not the forum police, don't worry if there are multiple posts alluding to the same question. This is a hobbyist golf forum with literally tens if not hundreds of thousands of posts. This is all basically for fun, nothing about this should be taken too seriously.

I appreciate it, Chris, thanks a lot! Good advice as per usual.

How about just stop being condescending and everything would be just peachy.

Tourstage 709 MC mini review
Haha, I actually looked it up! True Temper seems so wrong for the Maxima but the specs look nice! I'll let you be the guinea pig on this one, though, haha.

Why don't you just not respond if it's bothering you so much? Gee, I'm so sorry to ruin your day. How dare I ask related questions on a forum under more than one post. The courts really need to get involved here. This is glaring issue that affecting so many lives and loves ones. Make a bigger deal out of it you f**k.

Tourstage 709 MC mini review
Ya, I'd like to try them but I've also been hearing great things about the Fujikura MCI's. Not much feedback on Shimadas for some reason...

Tourstage 709 MC mini review
Well said......... all of it!! I think I'll put some SteelFibres in them because I personally don't like the Monacos. I hit them way too high and they feel rubbery to me. Hard to explain. They just don't feel right. Unless someone comes on here and says the Fujikura MCI's are absolutely off the charts awesome, I'll probably try the Aerotech steelfibres. Shimada's are probably good but nothing unique about them.
