They're absolutely awesome. Tossup between Recoils and these for best hybrid/graphite shaft. They're extremely long, too. If a shaft can be long. I don't totally understand it but they are.

Very cool. I have to say, the Tourstage MC709s are the best overall irons I've ever played. Just awesome, IMO. Can't wait to see what they have for 2014. Time to snag one of their drivers, I think

Good to know, thanks! I can probably play a 9.25 (real loft) with the right shaft, for sure. I have a Diamana X I can use it it. The new Romaro coming out looks impressive too, though!

For what it's worth, the all time best feeling driver is still the Epon Technica. But the Maxima (with Diamana Ahina), for me, is the best overall driver I've ever played. Easily. It's the best at absolutely every other aspect. Distance #1. Low launch/Spin #1. Bore through wind #1. Looks - among the nicest ever. Feel - among the best. My only complaint is that my misses are major hooks due to the slightly (debatable) closed face. Other than that, I think it's superior to the Crazy 435 and every other drive I've ever played. I've never hit the P-tune, the 388 or this new sucker but I can't see anything being superior to the maxima.

That is true. Because I've been stung by the last two JDM non adjustable drivers I've bought (Egg 7 and Ryoma Maxima), both claiming to be square at address yet both are actually closed somewhat. I figure with an adjustable driver head, this won't happen again. Not sure what's coming down the pipe in 2014 but I love Tourstage irons, my tourstage fairway so I'm guessing one of their drivers would work well for me. The Ptune PRGR looks interesting as well.

P-Tune doesn't come in 8.5 I don't think... Srixon 725 isn't adjustable is it? Anyone try last years Tourstage 707 or this years 709 440 head?

Love the Ryoma but I can't hit it straight enough. Hooks. I have a Diamana X in a Callaway Razr FIT and it performs great, but it's a blemish in an otherwise very nice jSpec bag. Can't have that... way too much of a snob for that. I'm considering the following. Maruman Conductor Pro X forged 8.5 Callaway Japan Legacy Black Tour Authentic TourStage X-Drive 709 440CC Tourstage X-Drive 909 Last years Tourstage X-Drive 707. Yamaha Remix I need to be able to set it to 8 or 8.5. Neutral face and of course, low spin/low launch characteristics. Any other drivers I should be considering? Anything new coming out soon? Thoughts, advice? Appreciate it, guys.

I broke my PW shaft at the tip, the other day. Hit it out of thick hard mud, though. Phenomenal shafts!!

I can say wholeheartedly, the Tourstage 709MC's with MCI (proto) shafts are the best all around irons I've ever played. Softest, no. Point and shoot, no. Best combination of feel (they feel excellent!) workability, feedback, looks, setup, etc I've ever played.

Not as soft although it feels great but a better designed head in my opinion. Less forgiving but I don't know, I strike the ball better with these 709s than almost any iron i've ever hit.
