It's the Japanese market in general. We see and buy the high end stuff, but just as in the US most people in Japan and throughout Asia play some sort of variation of the Odessey. It is a tough market to crack at a premium price tag. The Srixon putters are actually decent for their price points.

K, If you did not get sick the last day you were here I would've given you my SKB hard case. I haven't used it in 2-3 years. I had it all cleaned up and ready to go. I have a lighter one that I like.

This used to be a Japanese design concept in the 80's. This in theory promotes better trajectory control in the short irons (offset helps deloft the ball at impact/hands ahead). Lower flying/better trajectory short irons. It was the size that threw off a lot of people.

TSG is correct. Different frequency slope. Sort of like parallel DG vs Taper DG. Some guys like me don't like the slope/feel of the parallel DGs. I would rather shim Taper shafts into parallel bores for that taper feel. I find the parallels to feel harsher on the longer irons.

I don't know, btw I made a mistake I was referring to the Xcons.

Based on my research so far the 2.5 torque vs 4.0 torque makes the 6 feel boardier. The 4.0 on the 5 doesn't feel like a 4.0 though. Maybe Ozik measures it differently?

Thanks. So Chris, Xcon5 over the Axiv V 6074 SX? Any suggestions on flex? Do I have to built it overlength to get the "better numbers". I play 44.75" drivers but am currently playing my TW at 45 and do okay. Also how is the feel on the Xcon. People say the Codes feel better.

Gocchin, Thanks. A local (member here as well) has a new Axiv V 6074 SX at a terrific price. I'm also looking into the Xcon 5 (sorry not 6) because I can get them both at the same price. Specs (No BS measurements) SS: 100-103, I get up to around 105-107 during October-March when I play more than 6xs a month. Mid-Low launch but high spin (strange but true). I generally like high 50's-mid 60 gram driver shafts. It will either go in my Honma TW 460 or my Cobra Pro S. I'm trying to keep spin down in Cobra. The Graman is actually doing fine in my TW 460, but I would want a premium shaft in there and probably put the Graman 640 into the Cobra.

What are you impressions and what can you compare them to/against?

The more important thing that I posted here and on other forums for our R&A covered brethren...have you switched. Only 3 months to go before we all go back to .83 Cor.

Yup, specs show it closer to the 1050. The funny thing is the one that I was trying out in XUTs 3&4s had 950 weight flows in R flex and they were awesome. Definitely not soft like normal 950 iron shafts.

I tried search but nothing came up. I have NS 950 weight flows in my XUT hybrids. Can anyone tell me about them. They seem to play closer to DGs than normal 950s? I play PX 5.5s but somehow the R flex in these weight flows do okay.

I play PX and I love them. I've only tested BGs. I would probably switch if BGs came in around 115 grams like my PX 5.5s.

I'm currently testing the X Drive GR and the deep face with stock shafts. There is no indication they are forged but the feel of the deep face is fantastic. Not like the X Drive Prospec 390 that I have but better than the 405 and 435 IMHO.

The topline is clean. Those are all reflections. It has been reshafted and original has been reinstalled. I would say 8/10. Just sole scratches from normal wear on the bottom.

If on the (DG) shaftband it means unitized/parallel.
