  1. Gocchin, Any feedback/experience on these shafts? weight/Torque/Trajectory/etc. I have learned the hard way that it is best to keep anything and everything bought from Japan in it's stock form. So I try to order clubs that have shafts that are near to what would fit me.
  2. Where can check on specs? Especially the shaft weight and performance.
  3. A friend is moving away from blades and told me to make an offer on these
  4. The running bird looks better than the older X8 logo. I hope the ball performs better as well. The last 4 Miz balls were terrible.

There are so many good weges out of Japan. There is sort of an underground wedge resurgence that has been in Japan ever since the Zodia gained a following about 4 years ago.. I have seen Teardrops, ARCs, etc that look/play just as good as the higehr end $200 wedges.
  6. ckay, Like Chris said, the one with MWT never got released. The TPs were around $150 when they were being closed out. They only had 20 pcs in my country and were all sold quickly maybe the other areas in SEAsia still have them. I too have some offset issues with most driving irons. You can try what I did. Take a lower loft than what you want then bend it weaker to take some offset out. It worked on my Miz Fli Hi.
  7. The nonTP version has been on closeout for over a year here in Asia. IIRC around $110-120sh with the NS Pro stock shaft. Maybe a member can hook you up. The TP versions were few and flew off the shelves during the close out.
  8. Thank you. My MP32s are USA. Might be worth to strip since they are back ups to back ups.
  9. Chris, Are custom Miz made from the same material as OTR? I ask because you ranked custom Miz as one of the softest. I can't afford the customs right now, maybe I can get similar softness by stripping my MP32s. Would this get the approximate softness as the original XBlades? I felt those were softer than my MP32s.

"Super AS roll" used to be on all the older TS/Bridgestone clubs as well. Just adding my useless bit of info. Again if your are looking at 400cc, another vote for the TS Xdrive 390 pro or the 405. The 390 feels a lot better but is hard to reshaft with the hosel.
  11. 3rd irons down, without the name/branding on them. They look similar to the Japan released Titleist CBs during the DCI era?

Chris, What makes custom Miz softer han OTR Miz? Is it just the removal of the chrome? I would suppose they are the same material.
  13. Will, btw time to rush over to Marlon's shop. The Marumans are coming in this week. Let me know how the 51 and 57 wedge look like. Nice avatar. I'll try to find a way to upload my daughter's swing pics as well.
  14. Hmm... 3w, tour black.... I smell a hand me down soon. btw half of those observations were yours.
  15. I would compare the reverse progression of the TC770 to the RAC CBs 03 (Japan/Satin). It is there but you have to look closely to find/see it. There is a slight reverse progression, the short irons seem to have a bit more offset than the mid/long. I have found this to be a Japanese design staple. In the TC770s it is just as not pronounced. The offset itself is minimal. The only clubs I had with me to compare at the time were the GD CBs (that MGB won here on TSG awhile back) and the CCI Forged. They have about the same as the GD CBs all along the set and the CCI Forged have less in the short irons. The build quality and balance are superb. I wish I had the $$$ to buy a set like them but the will ding in the crappy and ravine courses that I play. OT: The CCI Forged were no slouch. Feel was comparable to the GDs, but the balance was also superb.
  16. Those irons literally have my name on them. I actually hope that the lofts are jacked up so I can play a blade type 49-54-60 wedge set up to go with a 5-pw order.
  17. Can the running bird removed from the sole and put elsewhere?
  18. Strange why does the number seem not to be in the middle?

I guess the translation from Japanese to Englis is Gold's Factory=Circle T.
  20. Not the same for all companies. Tourstage and Bridgestone are the same company just different products. Callaway is the same, same company but different products for Japan, Korea, and US. Macgregor had name/licensing rights but I think it is now the same companies again. Titleist Japan had the licensing agreement a while back but is now agin under Acushnet. Before the licensing agreements made sense, now with a "smaller" world different products make more sense and more $$$.

Sorry. I thought I sent you a PM. I hopr it didn't end up with the other guys I PM here with??? "the shipping for a single club to your address via UPS from here is $92. If you have a UPS account it would be about 30% cheaper. You can buy it off ebay for a better price. My aunt cannot take it back because she is going to spend a bit more than a week in Hawaii on her way back and is not expected to be back in San Francisco until mid-Feb." I hope you find a great deal on ebay.
  22. Asia release is in a few weeks. I posted on another thread. I hope Maruman makes a comeback. The quality is good. They just need a better marketing team.

Interesting Titanium in the Honma ARMRQ but no Titanium in the Beres ARMRQ. I thought the ARMRQ stood for the weave process that included the titanium. You can see the weave still present in the Beres ARMRQ but no way of knowing if it still has Titanium. AFAIK the heads don't have stars only the shafts.

IIRC the gold medallion is a "pro spec", meaning lower ballflight and squarer face and better stcok shaft (Graphite design for Callaway)
