I hope they get there and we're not lost...- 54/58 wedges or 56 60
Have a couple George Spirits from a number of years ago...52/58 Chikaras still not make it?- Favorite Fairways
What shaft did you put in the ONOFF?- My new driver builds
I can do the San Diego weather from here, LA Story style... It is one of three 97% of the time. Sunny a warm after morning low clouds, sunny and hot except on the coast due to marine layer clouds or sunny and cool after morning low clouds. The other 3% accounts for Santa Ana conditions or rain... Doc, Potuna had nice things to say about you maybe my next time in SD the 3 of us can get together for a game...- Favorite Fairways
I have a 7wd and a 5wd Miura Precious Edition I have been trying to decide what to do with. They are nice compact heads, almost as small as some hybrids like the Adams Super XTD. Not sure if I want to reshaft with a stiffer shaft or let them go. Definitely great performing and easy to hit well... Shaft it right and there is nothing better...- Favorite Fairways
I guess it can be a combination of loft and length of the club driving actual distance… I know I can get my UTs the same distances as my FW. So in most cases I have converted entirely to hybrids, carrying driver the 18*, 21*, 24* hybrids and 5-P, G, S, L… Unfortunately, the best thing to do is to hit some and enjoy. I would argue, a skilled builder would be able to gap your clubs appropriately irrelevant of mixture of FW and UT...- ***** MY new driver builds THREAD ******
I never really thought of carryon two drivers in a round, which is the only way an insurance driver would pay off. Otherwise, you would have to know before the round started that you were not going to be on your game...- My new driver builds
Just don't let your son near the computer for a while...- You Ask We Listen! The Official RomaRo Thread!!!
They perform very well… i have the SX and the Alcobaca… They are definitely firmer in feel than the irons and other wedges I have hit. So if you don't mind a crisp contact then you should be all over these...- Epon... Golf Balls!
Maybe that is one of the design tweaks that Epon made in their specs… I wonder if Chris or Tario can find out from Epon how the ball is supposed to differ from the Foremost one...- Sandy blows
RIduffer replied to RIduffer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearHope everything is improving with your family. Sounds like a nightmare... Actually have an appt this morning for a standby generator for our home. Between Sandy this year and Irene last, not to mention sporadic multi-hour outages over the last couple years, figured it was time… I think the price comparison will depend on how big you go on the generator and what kind of irons/shafts and set makeup you buy… But definitely multiple sets...- Sandy blows
RIduffer replied to RIduffer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI would blame the GOP for making Obama spend so much time campaigning he couldn't focus on his job...- New personality disorder, SJ2GEAD
RIduffer replied to RIduffer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearWhile admitting I might have a problem is sometimes the first step towards a possible cure, a "new to me" set of '09 ONOFF Forged/Roddio i10s and a Crazy CB50 Sigma Noir arrived at my door today and a Ryoma V-Spec with Crazy Proto 519 is imminent. Now if the weather clears enough I met get a chance to game the irons this weekend....- Favorite wedges
So looking forward to the arrival of my pair...- New personality disorder, SJ2GEAD
RIduffer posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearWe have all wondered about it and I think I am coming down with a case of it myself… Admittedly my case is mid level compared to others on this and other forums, by early next year I will have 5 complete sets of JDM and a small stash of useful shafts, several more that I will have to age into not to mention random clubs floating around looking for uses. I do not have a degree in psychiatry or phsycology, nor am I a professional in any other definition of the word. That being said I have initially termed the disorder Supo's Japanese Golf Gear Equipment Accumulating Disorder. As is customary this disorder has been named after the apparent patient 0, Supo67. Please don't confuse this disorder, which borders on being benign, with its more sinister and troubling disease US2GEHD or fecal hoarding for short Hello, my name is Steve and I suffer from SJ2GEAD…- Yamaha 2013 Tour Model and Inpres Lineup Info - Important
I am too new to this… Other than Google, which is a good friend, I don't know the right terms or sites to add to the search clause...- Graphite shaft for Miura PP9003, which one?
Crazy Shaft has a lightweight graphite iron. Haven't played them personally but have gamed the heavier iron shafts to great effect...- SOLD thanks TSG
If only it were conforming... Have a shaft or two that need good heads...- SOLD thanks TSG
I can delete my post if you want to put it up there...- SOLD thanks TSG
On the conforming models the loft is on the bottom of the sole. On high COR models, it is near the hosel on the side of the head...- Who makes the best golf balls?
Really like the Tourstage and Srixon balls, but Tour Hex Black is a great ball too. Also, it isn't so much rubber any more as it is advanced materials and resins… - 54/58 wedges or 56 60
