Some more so than others. In order of forgiving to demanding I believe it goes 525 then 725 followed up by 925...

So I have played the Pro Forged irons, a couple of their wedges, the utility clubs and the iBrids. All of them are stellar performers in their own right. Would agree with Pete on the comparison to the BB, but I think RomaRo are better all around. The utilities play similarly to the Epon 902, a little bit more hollow sound at impact, but the get the ball going nicely. The iBrids are another top notch club. More workable than the utes and not as prone to a hook. Lastly, have a a pair of the SX wedges and an Alcobaca. They play much firmer than the irons would lead you to believe but they deliver on performance.

That is the Pro Forged... Did they do something new to it? Don't get me wrong, damn near perfect for me, especially with the Tour Attas iron shaft. About the only thing lacking, to me, was it needs to be more compact, little bit higher CoG, and a thinner top line... Of course I'm nit picking because that is what we do here...

HCR made before 2005 is still not rules compliant today. So just because it was made before COR was regulated does not make it legal today. Same goes for the grooves, iron with loft > 24* made before 2010 still can't be played it in sanctioned events… If your objective is to be long irrelevant of the rules, than HCR it is. Those made today might not be "longer" but the more forgiving nature of the head means even the mis**ts go farther straighter. If price is your primary consideration before performance and $200 is your limit than older clubs are your best bet on the JDM front. Should you be willing to open your wallet and your mind than there are a myriad of other options both HCR and conforming that could help you get the distance you desire...

Love the face on the irons... When is this stuff supposed to hit the Pro Shop? Are they adding an 18* to the Type S utility line? So many questions too little money...

I know a place that will plate in copper. Different than the copper finish from Epon I believe. You can see what they look like after plating by checking out my old listing for Blade Golf in USDM BST...
