chris i take it they will have similar grind to the previous maru wedges....ie to his liking! what sort of grind is this and how would it compare to the gas1 forged?

I personally never really cared for 14 drivers, irons, or their driving irons but some people really like them, IMO go with the XD435 with the TXD-70 which is the only shaft on the market thats the same as the rare Diamana stinger. chris is the txd-70 identical to the stinger? if so is it a huge upgrade price ?

well i previously used 950 nippons and now currently am using 1150s! these definately go a good bit lower (probably to do with the slightly heavier weight along with slightly stiff tip!) and will give you a more piercing flight, with no apparent loss of feel. i suggest trying the 1150s !!!

chris ive heard you mention the sp700 face before....how does this help performance? looks like cleveland have jumped on the weight wagon also!!!!!

really depends on which model of nippon shaft you have in the tps at the min! the superlights will lower your trajectory however i would highly recommend trying a heavier nippon first! as IMO they are quality.....1150 in reg could be the ticket for u!

to be honest i think you will find that it is not the lofts that are the prob, it is more than likely the shaft! nippon seel reg will give you unreal feel and great distance, however the downside is the ball just goes so high! if this is really bothering you i think you should change to either a heavier model of nippon shaft or a heavier and stiffer model! IMHO changing the loft wont make significant difference and you wiill prob just confuse your set up! :cool:

madness, when i first got the one in the post i thought it was actually quite a small profile, so the transition from one to the other must have been insane! :surprize: i couldnt see myself sticking to one of these, though trying one i feel is necessary! :cool:

olly to me this looks pretty identical to the current studio design range! these sticks will be $$$$$ so my advice would be go for a :gauge: just my two cents!!!
