ok... heres a little heads up on matching that shaft with certain shape heads. Take a boxier shape like say the Jbeam 435 head , ... while the performance is lights out! ........ and it is !! its a tough task master to love bec u dont feel like ur getting any distance with it , in fact it goes like the clappers but very low so u need a 10-11.5* head to max that combo out and see some air miles , bec seeing is beleiving , and bec. of the full shape of the 435 u dont feel like ur getting distance bang or your buck, the feel sensation to your hands gets lost in the box , the feel doesnt work, its sooooooooooooooooo frustrating, ive pulled 2 shafts form my 435s bec of this miss interpretation and as much as i know its out there , its fkkn long it was irking the s**tttt outta me bec it felt crap! , knowing you , you will pull that combo immedialty !!!!!!!!!!!! , dont try it , its 100% for performance only and a big swnger will enjoy unparralleled success form it. ON THE FLIP SIDE................ to full drivers , the elongate oval , or triangle back shaped heads really gravitate well to this shaft. SO , the t.388 is a no brainer for this shaft i had that exact set up with a 70s it suits really well but i was struggling with the head shape when i changed my swing so i sold it . -RODDIO s -tuning has the same kind of design and is another really awsome set up that loves that shaft and one u can go lower loft on , its very workable and can hit any shape u want with ease, can easily go up a flex in fact it prefers the 70s or 60 to the 60s. -KASCO DNA also works bec its so compact and face feel is totally different with the super hyten steel , same with the FD .... they are both superb and prefer all flexs lower launch . -EPON 101, feel is electric , i loved this combo , cundt see anything that was good/bad with it but swapped it out for a stinger after 2 rounds and never looked back . - Astro tour head is a meld of both full and pear shape, this is LIGHTS OUT and my no2 gamer its so good in fact i built 3 of them i have them with a 60s-60x-70s , the 60s is the best of them bec its a bit easier to launch and get a bit of movement plus is the longest with most hang time , the 60x i played on sunday needs 100% full attention and it will be incredible, you get no more than a cpl of yards lateral movement, this is almost IMPOPSSIBLE to bend like Beckham its point shoot with the slightest ability to a small cut or draw if u dont give it your full respect it just wont go, and will worm burn. -KAMUI PRO tp 07 and 09 , ( but esp the 07) is ,as so far as ive hit , the best match with this shaft . Its bec of the combo of feel and performance but mainly bec the feel/sound is the best. For some extraordinary reason the DAT55G face AND THE nitrogen infused head dull down the usual toink feel u get from that face material , this head gives u a stronger duller thud that feels/sounds OUTRAGEOUSLY awsome at impact i cant not play this when im mucking about, it flies high as well my 10* gets huge air miles and you can get as funky as u want with it, vary tee heights to hit all manner of shots , something that is impossible with the 435 an even astro tour. distance is good without being massive its not longer than the astro but its MILES more enjoyable to hit . On your course i can not say with any more insistence , If u want to take a punt on any head to put with ant but especially the 70s u have bec the torgue is 2.3 or 2 for the 2017 , i IMPLORE YOU to get a kamui.................... then give it to me when u hate it . ( hihihihihi)
  2. doubt youl get any play feedback. ive not even seen this around i had a look at the specs , its made of the best stuff. and @ 11*, 411cc with an elongated oval face , 196g head coming in at +/- 310g with a 60g shaft built spec , id think this is a bit of a max carry / all distance driver. your not gonan get any cheat miles. datt55g gives the ball the most instantaneous roost off the face , its the exact same stuff as the justick with ti6-4-1 cat body GREAT materials for a driver that has few but no better equals for propuliosn off the face, one aspect you shud know about that combo is that s feel is extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeemly subjective, some love it , (me) others dont like it one bit . it f ca feel very taught. and u dont feel like the ball is getting out there as much as it is , ( it most certainly is ) . by far the best shaft combo ive hit in the similar combo is a smoother one, the diamana aliislei 73s my playing partner stole that from me and wont give back is proof pudding that that staemtn is fact. so.... id suggest a smoother shaft for an awsome combo. oh the waccine gr dr88 shaft that i dont think they make anymore is one that is worth a look for sure . maybe not in 88 but that model is LIGHTS OUT. happy hunting let us know
  3. had t he new RC out in plenty of games now, it cud be the , THE best small compact driver. better than the kasco (never ever did i think i wud be saying that ) ? but i think it is , its more workable , fuller and better feeling/sounding. i they are close, but id take the R/C now. its so good . my fairway drivers are in dire straights for benching., its not a distance champ, but it was never made to be one, its an over the trees,, round the corner, hit that short par 4. lay up with a huge arc driver thats get out there but wont win any LD comps. those rotten short tricked up pete dye type tracks just got a new 1w. superb driver ,so good in fact i got a 202g 9* for low windy lack of launch days. to be shafted with im not sure yet...............,

i htink you shud have at llo0k at rich benock...
  7. I will try this in a driver as well i think. I tried the DF and actually didnt mind it but i was never going to get one , i hit a my buds 60x, and while it felt great , it was smooth but way more than just a little softer than what i play normally in X, my diamana X 60x was in play and they are NOT cut from the same smoothness stock! Just looking at the specs of the DF now im not surprised bec . that is a very comfortable 3.8 torque in an X flex ! , where as my DIAMANA X 60x is 2.3 and in hand on a course ,thats some jump i assure you. i hit quite a few with the DF that day and while didnt loose anything badly either way, it kinda felt like any small swing flaw and i was toast . The main attractor i rememeber was i got some decent distance with it without having to really bend the back, that stood out way, way more than its dispersion but for a simlar performance/ distance shaft i use a Quadra tpv-nx 65xs, which i absolutely love, no chance id swap that out for the DF. The D limited.. now that looks more my style 60tx 68g 3.1 high. and as for diamanas graphics?? all in !
  8. hahahaha.. yea.. i saw that and thought there must be somethinbg id misssed!!!! i agree there is Nno way i can see any discernable differnce in my shots from 2010 to now. , zero., the balls put paid to any differential the grooves can make anyway. good , im back playing my oldies.
  9. Awsome.... thanks nobs, i just found the corresponding info on the Rand A website. so......as i read it , it means the pre2010 irons and wegdes are fine for normal play by mortals untill 2024 in all club comps. when post that date we all have to change to modern grooves, if ur not playing comp then it doesnt matter a toss u beauty.. i will have to tell the lads their old grooves are fine, we all had the mistaken idea they were "OUTLAWED from 2010 , cant tell you how manly sets of yammy tours/ prgrs went bec of that failure to read /understand the bloody rules properply! not sure if i feel happy or mad that i ousted so many sets but i can and will rehshaft my oldies and faves . actually ........................ let me ask you an opinion , IF ur paying for sheep stations ( significant money) like we do in nassau at times, where wud u say this rule applies ? i took the less aggressive, higher ground saying no one can play t hem unless we all do bec i wasnt fully informed , if we all do it then its fine of course, but if one does and the rest dont ?????? persoanlly i think we arnt good enough to notice any discernable differnce in reality but as soon as you add money all sensibilites cac change if someone gets tanked. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh see local rules law, we make our own law ?
  10. Ok.. i just had a discussion and found an article ( which i think is saying ) the 2010 groove rule is ONLY for expert players ,basically the USPGA and equivalent tournaments. so pre 2010 irons/ wedges, (especially wedges) are ok for us non experts to play in general and in club competitions still , now and add inifinitum. Correct me if im wrong BUT the general thinking and consensus , certianly i was guilty of was that those old clubs are /were illegal from 2010 ......... it seems they are NOT.............. they are playable by normal golfers now "The USGA hasn’t been elusive about its goal – to make it more important for Tour players to hit the ball in the fairway. For the rest of us, this is really a non-issue as far as whether or not your wedges can continue to be used. If you are a professional golfer on one of the top tours, or if you plan to try to qualify for one of the three Open Championships, you’ll probably need new conforming wedges by Jan. 1, 2010. If you plan to qualify for any other USGA championship, you’ll need new conforming wedges by 2014. This might include the top amateur events in the nation as well. If you don’t play those specific events, you are good to go until at least 2024 " can anyone elborate on this for IRONS pls , i presume its the same ?
  11. i wont chip in here bec itll make my blood boil.............., but hey , i can trade you both of these for a stock TM bubble burner shaft form 1993.......... BUT you have to pay shipping. ok ? lets deal.

Of all the shafts in all the world... u had to walk into my domiain. im just thinking how many shafts ive tried over the milleniums .. has to be way more than a hundred differttn models id think. the DIAMANA x is the most complete "semi" production shaft ive hit. there are 2 that i rank higher in terms of prestige and wow factor, the full boron diamana stinger form 2010 and the 7 dreamers, both of those i put ever so slightly ahead of the X. the stinger by a whisker , the 7d............, well................................ the 7D u need to get made to ur exact specs to maximise its perfromance AND choose the head to go with it, not just grab one and hope other wise ur dicing with a lot of uncertainty by just picking one up specs unknown, well, unless u have the same swing specs and like the same head shape as the original owner then thats ok, the 2 ive hit in abundance were both customed and are absolutely totally lights out for feel and performance, looks and confidence. One was made for Craig ( long rest his JDM soul) which by all rights i shudnt have liked BUT ........... i i almost ddint send to him it was so good !!! and the other is the one im gaming now. . no kidding anyone , the 7d is THE best shaft ive ever hit and am likely to hit , ever period, end of chat. but , its crayz exxy. so as it stands for a semi production shaft bec they were limited ,, the DIA X is the best of any of the rest with the stinger i have a total of 14 x and stingers in my collection . its got to the point that i just weened myself off pretty much all else., clsoe behind hese are a cpl of the quadras, the original fire express the best of them. from the jbeam 435 to the kamui pro triangle back typhoon the X just suits . they are not strip back shards of railroad track that dont bend. they are not worm burners , they are not super heavy. in the words of the head of diamana shaft 2 yrs ago at the trade fair. " Stew -sn thanks for you supprt over al he years and pls keep plying out shafts, but i think u have the the best shafts there is or will be made so dont worry about the rest of the new range they are infereior in evey way, we prob wont make more of these they are too expensive to put out to the public again, keep what u have we prob wont be making a better quuality shaft than what u have, they wont be falling out of tech favour anytime soon. both the boron and the X are the best we did" so of course, i bought 5 more that day. get em while u can, they prob wont be popping up agan soon..... but the again.......... there is i now inflation........................

i go thru love , frustration with mine. if im in a steep and deep over the top swing phase , i cant hit these. when im in a smooth rythmical plane swing phase they are lights out and i use them all the time . i keep thinking to sell.. then ,not selling......... selling then not selling............. i cant have one set of wedges, its not possible my ones are with NS sp orange . i wont play them when its wet or in deep grass i , find them much better for autumn.winter when its dry and hard they clip the ball clean as a whistle , spin is off the richter they schralp balls and skin en alive. !

  21. supo replied to bngolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
head shape reminds me of a cpl of older heads ive seen over the years a higher launch id expect with all that meat in the centre ? i used to have a set of wedges that were raw faced, might have been yururi ithink... yea i think they were nothing looks better than the chrome body with the raw face. spin was rediculous. good to have some pointy nosed clubs , ive got my share, dont play them that often, more for show games.
  22. supo replied to bngolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
love the raw face..... u gaming these ?
  23. hhahahaaha... a list of endo forgings...................................... yea id like to see that as well oh ive asked 1000 times.. oh they dont do it. funnily enough bec of privacy.................... they dont list or tell u who their customers are. the list we " know" from yrs ago what ever that actually means is brief but peops pls . feel free to add yamaha,, tourstage, prgr, epon, srixon AFAIK thast about it off the top of my head. then a few bits and pieces form others we " kind of know about" .. callaway got a set or two done , TM might have. eons ago ( but highly doubtfull ) i asked specifically about the tm tp pro 09s faldo model and they said. sorry we dont reveal our customers. with a slight tone towards maybe they did but then i thoughgt.... with the utter spam TM pummel the mkt with it, it makes no sense to do someting decent. away form the chinese pop out factories when they can pump and dump from china . so . as much as id like to say yes these were. and im SURE i read they were....... nowadays , ii highly doubt it..) yes a list.. pls get me one as wel..
  24. oh i know that driver i tried it. super straight and low launching. good for links!
  25. i think u are right nobs .. a few OEMS use a quasy diamana blue a lot now as thier stock shaft. i see them in a l few different heads but a made for variety. i hit a buddeis mizuno driver recently with a new 65s black diamana of some kind and it was great but not the same stiffness as i was expecting form a stiff diamana blue ... was a good shaft felt fine but i did get a small case of hey is this stiff or reg ??
