  1. the tour drivers are sqaure . i always thought they were a bit open................. jus trying to mentally icture mine and to me mine alway look jus t a bit open thast thy i have a tougher time drawing them.... esp agaisnt the ryoma which is dead sqaure the tour yamaha is open.
  2. pear shaped . small compact, thin topline. light weight as i said.. wide soles with higher bounce for slicing mahoooooosive beeeeevahhhh pelts thru the japanese fairways. spin is very good. very very good. and the versatility is. considering the width of the soles very impressive. put it likwe this. in summer here or where ever the grass is fairly FULL and lush.. theres no other wedge id ever consider. all my best shafts are in these heads. ive basically returned to yamaha 10s bec the sole is tiny thin for say aussie thin pna tough lie conditions ... and these ,... they both suit my eye , pear shaoped for great imagination. they ant ballshredders. bu u can cut accross these and the ball will sit dead still no probs. i stumbled on them a few years abck and ive never been without them since. tried everything else in betwen, but the shape of these just gets me back.
  3. itheres prob no reason why T cant get u one .... although yamada-san can be a pretty finicky kinda fella at times( ive found.............) but there shudnt be too many probs with access to them if there was gong to be one putter brand in the shop here is SHUD be yamadas.... theres a diverse range to cover all bases and his quality if top notch. they have their own website they arnt found in stores like scottys theres a guy in western australia that is a distributor of them but tario shud be able to get in contact withe main man and get u sorted id imagine ive seen a pretty diverse fange of his collection and i think his works are very very sound. they dont come cheap. but quality shoudlnt IMO
  4. Ill vouch for miura 5002 i think they are his s bsst blades not cointing the isms
  5. They are the only setof silver. May i recomend a shaft for u Conidering these are my gamers....... For.ive prob tried them all in these heads and the heafs are very light They came stock with x100 snd thrres not much better They are quite soft at impact without being muuuushi so i prefer to hit a slightly firmer shaft so the ball doesnt get get lost on the face at impact. Monacco 8 iron X100 Shimada ks tour hm120 Ns 1150x These might just add to ur wedging pleasure Jeff must be loving the miuras to let em go Good pick up In summer u wont wanna hit anything else but u can easily go with more weight on them
  6. delish shaft absolutely delish i warn ya u might niot like its "feel" as much as some others. thats a diamaana trait ive notcied in everything except the stinger... but the performance of it in every conceiveable condition is worth the admission price
  7. u got these sorted yet ?
  8. supo replied to aussiefreddy's topic in Want To Buy
plenty of wegdes availble yamaha. vokey. mizuno
  9. stiffs... aha.., well theres pretty much no chacne of those avaialbe. theres none left in the world. thers a few X and a few more TX but stiff.... nope. they go for good coin now i paid 440 for my first set and i wont sell them for much less. i think these be sought after for eons. of all the shafts ive used the mons are no worse than any. and in the epon personals well theres no chance of th mever coming out.. period. i was going to actually put the satin stiffs i have in my 2nd set of peosnals as a set of more workable blades... if the aerotechs dont work out. thast the plan.. if ucan get s set of stiffs. DONT let them go to waste. put em i n ya best irons
  10. just hang on a tic S...., someone has laready pmd me about the sybs.. and a set of ns 950s ... so chotto matte ne.. ill let you know as soon as i do. but yes these will be perfect for him. but they are 3-pw
  11. i was taked into putting the aerotech into my perosnals, last night. i wont be touching the monaccos tho
  12. these are looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong high balls fellas, they were my ball of favout for 2 years. onwet days and the grass in thick i stil use them very long and the best feeling ball on the putter face .
  13. a wise sage on a mountian once told me... "the smallest movement deep in ocean bowles , over disatnce ,make great tsunami"
  14. i like stepping Sp blues for instance. i wont use the stated flex in this range il llawyas go the hard stepped S of soft step the X depending on club head. dont do this with ohters but in SP blue it works well,
  15. wedge shafts ive got plenty of x-100s plenty of ns 950s a pair of shimada ks 120 wedge...... all specs are prob the equiv fo 37.5 or 37.75 inch 5i. if u get some shafts ill throw in some x-100s as i really reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal do have to clean the room thsi time she means it. this time... there will be blood.
  16. bloody hell!!!! get them.... anyone!!!
  17. good lord so i got a whole set of wdge shafts???? heaven forbid my 5 iron might feel like excalibur!
  18. yea some dg high launch light weight someghting or others... got a ful lset of those puppies.. and the syb ks shimada 6001.. they are soft light and feathery. fro what ive read the yare the kahoonas . obv not mu cuppa tea but the reports on them are very veyr good.
  19. right a few of these steel poles are slowly creepeing out the door. thansk fellas.. these puppies MIGHT spark some interest.. a set of (3-pw ) + 2 utility shafts of DG tour issue shafts in super -dooooooooooooper condition. that i lost contact with untill my clean out. pm me for deets thjey are obviosly mint-a -rooski....
  20. yea bec the 701s are not the lowest laucnhers in my fleet but they are a super players iron. the x-100s i nthem were [perfect fpr play but feel CRAPOLAAA. tourtsage headsarnt the softest tissue in the box as it is. so a shaft that can play like x-100 with feel will make these prety darn impressive im backing
  21. u know what.................. ive got access to track, man on my local range. ive used it a cpl of times all it does is confuse the f..... outta me. the numbers and what i like to seee dont match ever.. ive givien up on it.
  22. if u guys want a JDMN putter then u HAVE TO LOOK at yamada-sans putters the Hiro M stuff has gone a differnt tack these days low quality high turn over ( so im relaibly told). the yamada putters are very good pieces and get air time in pros bags all over the place. ive got ahd a lot of these and think they are tops the other thing u can do is hunt down hiro matsumotos older putter.. NOT the new stuff. then ull get a good putter. t he 1999 special ed. is easily as good as anyhting else ive got
  23. well hope fully tonight ill be able to tell you! i have the yamaha tour2013 4iron with a sp blue. ive gothe rest with the thumps nad hte 7i tourstage 701 is getting the aeortechs today for range test tonight i do know immedialty that the thumps are 10 billiontrillion times nicer to hit than the SP blue. but, for performance the sp blue i nthe 4i is brillinat. just feels bad in comparison
