2021 got under way with a cpl of new builds i thought up and Mr wizard did his thing with and made sing like a soprano. 2009 ONOFF type D 10 */ diamana X 70s @ 45inch for workability and an easy relaxed winter build 2013 ONOFF MP-513D /graphite design p9003x @ 43.5inch for control and placement Ive had both these heads sitting around for ages and cudnt think what to do with them, the 2009 is THE ........ THE best beginners driver head ive ever hit and was thinking to keep for my son and is the head ive reccommended to so many guys here , most of which are still playing bec it cant be bettered so i figuered ,why not try this with my best shaft as an ok, im playing for sheep stations , i need to hit all 14 today., It didnt dissapoint ! My driving as a rule is the strong point of my game so i dont really need more length, i cud always play around with a bit more versatility. I dont miss fairways s much any more and yesterday i hit 13 of them with the one i missed in better shape rough than the fairway was ! Decided to play the new drivers the whole round yesterday as it was windy and temps were around 20 * so was a good test for them , i knew id got a good un immediatly , when on hole 1, i hit a baby fade 260yards dead centre in a significant cross wind. Straight from the restaurant to the tee and kabang! .. Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook.... i think this is going to be a good driver ! Wasnt let down. i play multiple drivers when im practice rounds and decided to just pay the 2 new boys when on hole 2 i hit the other one (43.5inch) and almost drove the damn green on the short par4. was like an exorcet missile, i was speechelss............................ THIS was supposed to be a control driver for awful tricky Pete Dye monstrosities i " have " to play from time to time and i just hit it a country mile. THATs staying in the bag!!! Mr wizards builds are good , i dont heave to tell him anything anymore as hes been building my club for on 20 yrs but i have NOT been more impressed and surprised by a driver as much as this, EVER. I already own a decent array of short ( sub 44.5 inch) drivers but never one at 3w length and never one that hits the ball without lateral movement like this........ My Taylor made tp09 with bimatrix at44.125 inch has been my best build to date but i gotta say this might have taken its spot. i wil say one thing , ill build another one of these and send it back home to play on my links bec the accuracy of it is unmatchable.......... the key i believe is its swing weighted to B9 at 320g ! ill post photos when i get my bag back. these , epsecially the short one are quite inspiring. once again, it doesnt have to be spakly new with TM m1000000000 written on it to be great. Pls dont ask about my iron play.. sigh........................... LOTS of work to do!

nobs the old p-51.5 i think it was , the old Aichan model ......... . that was a painters brush of a driver head, one cud make that do anyhtig u wanated AND a lot u didnt.. the proto tourstage, ,bugger all of them ever made and if iremebrer close to double the price of the retail ones. had a MONSTER of a weekend out where i hit none of 14 with it affter hitting 11 /14 the day before and sold it to the baron 2 seconds after the game ended. next weeknd he hit 0-14 and i crusssssssssssssssssssssshed his ooooooooooul nad wallet haaah loved that driver tho. wish id kept it endo perfection

nobs u gotta try this head if u have a amtchign shaft.... its really really good. issue with it cud be reshafting it with a ferrule that fits , have a look at the insert hole. not what u call a big hosel, plus its very very light so it need to be played long which the seller here shud have alluded to with a scale(hint hint...) magic driver esp with the labo tataki shaft. that played to 45.5 inch my builkder wudnt put a stinger i nthis for me bec it was too light and the balance was mid cCs yea this goes down as one of my all time faves , bit finicky but \magic IF u can get a shaft match

damn.... he did a good job for me on a few, for a decent price i used slighter once and it was adequate, a bit expensive for what i considered not a lot of real attention to detail. the job was fine but when one use(d) golds for most things , unfortunatly, nothing else stacks up.

nobs, im gaming a 17.5 * 4 wood from kamui pro , its still not quite perfect but its so close im not gonna mess with it. id prefer to to to 17 * but this is seriously great so i kep it in the bag. The 3 wood is now a royal coll 15* with diamana X ,im strongly considerign gettign another prgr egg 17* spoon head as well for all carry and into winter it might make it easier to hit with a 65s shaft. prob a QFE.

ok, i had a good waggle with these today., 3 and 5w two things: 5w is not closed BUT if its 6* open, im blind . the guy at the shop said oh its square i said can u measure it pls its sposed to be open, no its square his reply....... he wont be there long... ANYWAY. its looks semi triffico, i dont think itll suit the super low cappers as much as other heads wud , i think its a little more for the mid cappers than guys under 5. thats just me tho, id game it but not over what i have and the fact it comes with a diamana 50 s shaft.................... well..................... theres info in that! its got a larger higher face with a pronounced rounded triangle shape that at address inspires immense confidence. , its a really nice shape , built from the mold of the original rs tour for sure but softened up a smidge . its really does look like a super easy club to hit, nice big face. its gotta be a high launcher id think. yep thinking about i cud game it. 3w : Now , i dont know what they did here but it doesnt work to my eye 1 bit significantly thinner longer and way more convex face that doesnt look like it wud get up at a hookery......................., it doesnt look like its designed for the tee either as its so sleek, its simply LOOKS like its is a missmatch of design for function , im never gonna hit it, i had it in hand for a grand total of 30seconds and said , oh no this is a outcast. doesnt work at all to the eye so no way it gets to the bag. the 5 is a gamer, the 3 is a red headed stepchild. caveat i LOVE prgr!!!!

beceause the tiny pear shaped tourstage xwedges have kicked EVERYTHING else out . i dont know what hapened but its not even clsoe anymore i jsut cant game anything else.

Gawwwd damn its gotten chilly over the last cpl o weeks in old Tokyo golf town. The merino thin long sleeve under shirt is in as are the long sox tucked into the plus 4s! Time to tune OUT of all things low and stinger ish and focus on high and all carry in cool winter conds! My last 3 games ,my score has hit the damn roof. Greens are lightning and hard ,driver is going nowhere and lets not mention irons!!!!!! Ive put aside the NS 125 and 130, the Shimada 3001 , GD s200s and Monaccos for the next 6 months and will rebuild a cpl o sets with the greatest shafts ever made by a man..... NS 950s. Talk about improved height on strikes.. box ticked , with a flex that is a slightly softer stiff comapred to DGs200 and miles easier to hit. A dispersion, that typical of NS ,doesn't like to go lateral too far and generally, a really really nice(est) feel. Think ill prob hard step a set or two an pop them into a spare set of callaway tour authentic heads, magestic cavities these things and a set of blades to scratch the winter ball striking itch , most prob the honma tw 727m, to whittle away the winter distance loss blues . DRIVER.. oh man i need some distance help with driver shafts. the diamana X is just too strong and powewrful for the cold , distance loss is significant regadless of how accurate this is, its insane, it simply will not move, i cant hit my small draw and im ending up in the bundah on the right every drive! I built an astro tour with a 60x last week at only 314 gram and i just cudnt get it to move 1 millimeter , feel is like .... a diamond hitting a frozen marshmallow. I cant WAIT to game this in heat next season of heaven forbid OZ soon as the vacccine comes into play!!!!!! but ,. im pretty sure this combo will go str8 to the pool room, for now and going forwards tho , i need some respite. Thinking a nice original (and best) quadra fire express 65s for winter now i dont loose my driver right too much anymore, this might make a herculaian recovery. Even the 65xs tp-v , which is in play at the moment is on the harder end of what is needed. Dont even start me with fairway woods ................, my minds in the blender about what to do with those bec as much as i dont miss right anymore with drivers, i dont miss left with fws.. which SHUD rule out the QFE, but maybe a cpl of ligher , softer flex say in 65 s cud work out ok , thinking in a set of old royal collection bbds, or more probably the original egg spoon in 15 and 17.5* shud see me right for winter golf yea , thats not bad thinking and the flavour for the next few weeks.................., btw.. balls... anyone know what balls are a bit softer and spinnier for winter ?????
