ah ah., i used to use the rombax , 7v05 i think it was. loved that shaft, had them in a cpl of fairways as well. then i tried quadra then crazy, the rest is history. now it seems GD is the OEMS favourite , the di- dj and BB in just about everything, hope they dont go down same road

yea i had the akira proto m009 that was the worst driver id ever hit. well u know what i have in my arsenal , and im gravitating to this thing right now. with all manner of shaft combos.. the p9003x has been the best so far, at 44 inch , this shaft in the jbeam 435 for my SS was too much , too tough , too heavy to get best results. the quadra fex in the 9.5 at 45 was really really long, i just couldnt control it going right. but thats the trouble i always have. and the fex and i kinda get very right a lot . try play around with some weight combos in it bec im not kiding im killing this thing .. like i said tho im trying to get th 9.5 wired properly . i think im going to go shorter length with it to get some better control. its worked wonders in the 10.5* .. and as u know i favour nothing but the best results ... thsi thing is giving it to me in amlpe quantities. might be the combo of ther heavier shaft??? iknow where i hit the ball on my home track with all my drivers and thsi thing is righ up there with every one, and imn getting it centered more than the others. im going to try the crazy sigma i n the 9.5 an d play it at 44.5 ish.. see how that goes... the bb7s aint working right now

the 10.5* kp-x is higher, signicantly. vs the 9.5* ryoma with my shafts in them mind you, (i dont play the stock shafts) id think everyting is easier to draw that thew ryoma, that just goes straight.

we were discussing this on sunday at golf... they were the first to do custom fitting they had the most lines they were in everyones driver heads.. now .., well nothing.............,

the older iff i discoveed a while ago. iused the non tour version but i found it not quite to what i like. (its too easy to hit) yup read that right. so i found the "tour version" hmmmmmmmm nice and hard to hit. me likey so much ibougth 4 14 + 17 with diamana kaili 80x and 70x in australia and here with roddio prototype tour 70 + 80x these go ok, they are a bit more solid that the newer versions, and very hard to source now. i think the newst model with the wings on the sole are super easy to hit and the 2009 fric off the best allrounders. the iff feel more...... tightly wound(?) than the others. i love em. of course... from YAMAHA

im using a suepr black adams.. ver ygood ute and a tour edge exotics 16 and 18* they are very long. dont use the mal lthe time i swap them about for the fairway woods. only thing is the TEE are sleek, the adams super black i really like check them out

20-21* - 23-24 * ??

i have the ping in my sydney bag, itsa lot more chunky and cumbersome that the on off i will be swapping that over full time when i return

cant speak any more just play it. the 9.5* is LOW i played around with the shaft and weight combo on sat. still ahvnt got that wired properly to game it. needs more tweeking. prob with a stiffer shaft, havethe bb7s and tis a bit theatical. the 60x seems to be a better flex for me thats a good idea....

hmmmm well ive almost done that with the diamana X doesnt matter what head goes on that shaft, it plays superbly. its great on the epon zero and its so controlled in the kp-x i gamed the 44inch 10.5* GD p9003x yesterday in great conditions yesterday at my home course. i had the epon zero diamana x , and the ryoma ls noir at hand , but plummed for the kp-x instead. the ball soars, huge high arcs, but a good flight not a lot of backspin. massive carry. completely differnt to last weeks crazy 435 on same course. distance was righ dead smack up there with the 435 . almost identical, and with the wind dare i say it .. well ..., it wasnt shorter thats for certain, had 2 career lenght drives on certian holes , but the control i had with it was more noticeable than its distance! the head on the kp-x is very forgiving! i had my power fade thing going on again yesterday. that , i can control, for the life of me i cant hit a draw. ive stopped trying ala KJ choi but the overall distance i get with the fade ,adn the cfontrol i got , seriosuly dont need it, will trade an extra 10-15 yards distance for this control 100% of the time the 44 inch was a bit "interesting" to begin with, i def noticed the lack of club length at address, felt like i had a big headed 3 wood in my hand the whole day. not a driver. so i slowed down my swing tempo and concentrated on hittign thru the ball with consistant results. the control i gained by not having to choke down 2 inchs was noticeable and by hitting the club at "full" shaft length the hip turn thru the ball i gained totally made for any seeming lack of shaft length. over lall i hit htis club with a lot more consistancy. loving it! i will play this in high summer every game when its hot steamy and no wind and the grass is full and thick. to get the most carry. im even more impressed with this driver head. is til maintain the p9003x is at my zenith of ability . im not fast wenough to get the maximum out of it. when i really ahd a good go and got the ball centered i got massive shotss off, and yetserday i was hitting the middle on just about ever yshot. but this shaft has so much more to give that i cant reach. the funny thng is i can use this build as a second driver with no probs and drop the 3 iron. game the 435 or the ryoma for amximum control and use this one as the bomber or the palcement tool geee im getting might used to playing shorter and shorter drivers. i think i will build this driver with the crazy sigma 50 ls 7.7.. i think its a bit softer and i will prob get a bit more kick and itwill be slightly easier to play.... nad dare isay it prob longer results ARE results . regardless of what the pundits say

zero , yes. i think the vokey prob spins more, the grooves on it are quite small and close together. the onoff just pops up and stops. and its a heavy club. full swings are no where near as easy to master as with more common shaped wedges true but i havb=nt had to hit one yet with it its al about finesse, id use the 56* half shot over the full 59* onoff my course has PLENTY of deep 6 inch rough around all greens so this club is so usefull to get a decent shot in. this wont be coming out in a hurry.

Gamed today big session before the match with it as well withe crappy dg200 piece of junk shaft init cant wait to reshaft this with an Ns pro shaft its already rediculous for flop drop with ns it will go backwards love it easily advantage this iver vokey not in same school gamed the vokey 56 as well suoerb from bunker my others might struggle to get back in. Bu the shingo is great takes a wee while to get used to its shape but had the thing on a string thus morning only used it twice today in game but didthe job perfecfly. Must get it re shafted tho that thing in it is such a waste ns will make it squeel like a pig
