NO..........., TRY THE IOMIC X EVOLUTIONS THERES NOTHING LIKE EM.
  2. the yonex i liked got good numbers with it too. scared me to pieces at first, then it was like hitting a big 3 wood. got the ball to turn over nicely. its really pear shaped, i mean really! but i was flushing it nicely. i didnt mind it and i could picture myself using one at long reef or NSW to hit low drills that run forever. the TS i didnt see.i did see the 415 tho and thats not abd bad looking thing ,liked the look of it , but didnt t hit it. the real small heads im not about id like to play one too see how i go under presssure with it . my thoughts tho are it looks too small and id overswing to try get more distance.
  3. ill take some gooduns of the cannonry! also get to play with the bushnell rangefinder. lots of riased greens and cant see pins here this might be a revelation. now there really ISNT an excuse!!!!!
  4. at narita Gc on sat which has some fantastic facilities. ususla rules get there 2 hrs b4 play and spend it all o n the range, chipping and putting NO excuses for poor play! so i just packed my bag for he weekend and i had to laugh becaeause it contains 6 drivers with all my favourites. at narita u hit only the top quality balls that guys loose. so its the best place to actually practice besides on a course. which isnt allowed here. you cant just play a sinlge and hit multiple balls . oooooh nonononononno...almost got deported a few yrs ago for doing that with my wife.! so report follow up on mon but bags for weekend contains., epon 102- crayz 80 2ls epon 102 -quadra prototype. epon 101 diamana stinger jbeam 425 -crazy 80 jbeam 435 crazy tj 46 yamaha v 4.6 graphite design p9003x plusill get to hit my buddies ryoma-- roddio shingo spec 47 inch concoction! and his on off 2010 with 2010 shingo spec shaft. im salivating at the prospect of going head to head with all these and then i get to choose one to play the round with! watch me totally screw it up and hit 4 fairways all day! oh the pain, the pain......................................,
  5. feeling is better. you know im a fan of roddio. the 2010 u will have no prbs with, flex is softer than the crazies by a mile i def DONT think its an x flex... for me the 2010 is a stff maybe xs at most. but it plays 46+ inch cannot tip these . ! more like matrix in feel i hvant hit the 2011 yet. but off the top of my head id say go it. but u gotta expct high...........soaring...........bombs
  6. the new model, each yr they keep getting stiffer and better. shingo picked up 15 yards with the 2010 model from the 09 thats HUGE! my bud has the 2010 and ill say unequivocably its sensational. its all carry , i mean all carry! the 2009 was really high soraing bombs! all draw. too mcu h for me couldnt control it. the 2010 was much much tighter , still really high but much straighter. icant wait to hit the 2011 its one shaft that i really look fwd to playing each yr bec it evolves so much depending on what head space shingo is in. the roddio guys dont just change the colours on them they make a totally new performance shaft. the new shingo flex is suited to guys over 105 id think the 09 model form mid 90s to 105 over that and u loose it left allllllllllllllllllllll day. this one i saw at the show and its lovely...., new graphics. very tasty! i almost walked out with his driver and wedges ., they had them sitting on a bag . everyone had gone i was crying!! i couldnt beleive it! show finished and theres shingoes actual clubs sitting there. took all my resolve... (and a very stern look from daughter and wifey!)
  7. that white one ithink. had all the fellas looking at it last nigth. consensus was the bonet looks like the ferrari california. i gotta go test drive this .! the wife will go ..........absolutely.............. mental. whast the cost over there on these?

  10. diamana blue shafted ROYAL COLLECTION bbd type H 2 15* in good order. extreely workable and just a wondeful feel as is everything form RC very solid, good distance , without being a cannon, a mix of feel, workability and control. superb stick...! shipped by EMSJapan for 175 usd its great!
  11. 460 cc ish heads i presume ud like? how about a cpl of these.., epon 102 for a start , fuller body more roll MUCH better in wind , a solid very confidence inspiring head at address carry wil be reduced , ballooning ceased, goes very straght. roll pronounced. over all ball shape superb. yamaha 2010 v201 10* same feel as the epon more square look . big elongated face. vey awe inspiring at address. distance superb. playability sensational. mix of carry and roll. washi............. the eagle! very hot face. speak to Tabout this really good feel very easy to hit and distance wasterrific. obv. the ryoma. humongous distance perfect balance of carry and roll or my latest favourite driver...., the j beam cannon. any of them. dead straight, really low huge roll. wind wouldnt matter.

yep terrific driver. beautiful feel the ip is lower spin than the stock face, and it makes it longer. in great shape small speckiling prob towards $ 500 id say head only. if the face is speckled a bit , then about 450 sounds pretty right id think. (they would be bought immediatly regarldess of face for anything near 420 ! ) there isnt a hell of a lot of these about about they were a limited ed. cpl have come up recently and i think 450 ish for ok one is about right. u get that in good nick for 450......., ur smilling!
  13. for gooooooor sakes some one lift these this is a rediclulously good price!!!

............. YES................, thats the s........... right there...........!
  15. Get one! I want to hear how it plays on course im too scared to bag it t was spot on the yonex looks like a fairway. Persimmon is dead right. Its square not closed looking at all yonex drivers have a great ability to look dead square even when closed like the nextage 10' i didnt know that was closedand kept pulling it. The 380 was fine just a little freaky at first then i really liked it, esp when it went straight most shots ,nice surprise! Id really need to clober ths on an outdoor range too see flight results an moveability, but instincts tell me id slice the pants off it, wont know till its hit tho all yonex ive hit have gone straight to left but nothing looks quite ike this.

Looks good in the flesh havnt hit it tho more rounded than the 703 more compact the 703 id think would be much easier to hit t.hat is a really easy to hit driver! Looks more like a pro series driver ild like To get holf of one for a bash
  17. Epon 302 that level? Gotta be sp blueshafted too.

As you said once befire tho the feel on the greens is paramount and the xxio is my huckelberry there. ill try a box of those TS solid
  19. supo replied to idrive's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Which crazy u thinking of? And balls question i hit the xxio premium but i found in oz they were a bit difficult to stop dead distance is incredible ill say 10yards on the srixon z star and a heap softer . On the greens just oh so sweet was thinking of trting the tourstage v10 as my pal says they spin a bit more around the green thats rhe only thing i miss with the xxio that stopping power any comp between these two balls?
  20. hey good stuff..! i was looking at this for a cpl of days as well, but thought this might happen like u said. the stinger def plays a we bit softer than its stated flex. the GD p9003 x DOESNT...!!!! tipping it nad making it a 3w shaft might might be a good idea , at $220 for a 90 t shaft ( is this correct??) that might make it a beauty.

brilliant......., wow that ems must be some driver. i would have been slackjawed if ud said the ryoma was shorter off centre tho. epon ......... just goes to show. change the shafts around? no way never mess with your no 1. contenders have to EARN their bag spot! (you could alway put a stinger in that ryoma... higher ball flight . longer carry . feeling ..., schweeeeeeeeet.!!! )
  22. that honma one aint bad either.., i really liked hitting that it was long.
  23. i was going to say epon 302 immediatly. but im not sure if thet are conforming grooves. the sole on them isnt small is pretty full but not too bad. workability is good without being extreme. shafted with nippon stell super peening blue on lush grass there isnt much eslse sweeterto hit. and they spec them 100 % to ur requirements. yamaha are a bit smaller,, bogeydog is the expert on these. saw some very tasty mizzies at the show but i was only loking at the blades. the mp68s i think they were just beautiful. pretty much all end forged irons are as good as there is to hit. i had a good look at the 901 from Fourteeen and they look really good, they are endo forged. and the lines on them are not too chunky. i thought the tc1000 from a cpl of yrs back look more pro esque tho the 910s look more cavity based than player based saying that i do game the kyoei irons , they feel more like miuras , a bit more solid. super direct and distance control in my ones anyway just brilliant.

well heres a little experiment i did last night.., roddio s7x in a yamaha 2010 v201 10* cannon!, ever so slight draw cannon! you can totally forget about roddio being a sloppy jaloppy shaft now ,NO WAY.., this wont be getting touched il oved this set up. the new shafts are a lot tighter and a lot more dynamic. dispersion is super tight. the x flex suite me prefectly. the s is a flex too soft but the x is perfect. im going to put that 3 w proto tour shaft in the yamaha 3w v 14* and have a little roddio set. i think they are really good!
  25. BB..., i hit the 385 yonex and liked it. got good numbers. looks like the old ping WOOD or the first titleist seriosuly pear shaped.!! but that yonex v shape in the face keeps ur eyes on the ball NOT the tiny head. hit them all the 450 420 and the 380 the 380 was my preferd tool. with a GD dj 6s good combo. T will give u specs on it i guess. but feel is like all yonex a muted thump. not the best sound. unfortunatly it makes u think the ball isnt going far, and u try and you swing harder. they could def improve that aspc bec it doesnt lend itself to confidence. but the results were good. very big risk they are taking making these things, cant see too many guys getting them. my thoughts were id hit this on tight tracks and i dont exepct a lot of distance but i figure i might be able to keep it very low and get some run and be o the short stuff a lot! i was very surprised by the 380, i thought there was NO way id be able to hit it well. i thought it was going t be a slice machine ,but not at all. got them to turn ove pretty nicely, i found my hands going thru the ball much better than alot ofdrivers , i think my trajectory was good, distance was ok, acceptable, and i think they were pretty straight. i hit this the best of all the 3 they had on show. i didnt mind it at all.
