  1. frank take it out and play it solo ,seriosuly.. i hit a heap of ball at the range to get used to the appearance of closed face and now i dont even think about it, only played 2 games at sentosa and orchid nad hit my driver as good as i ever have. put ur trust in it u wont be let down
  2. idont think ive seen these anywhere id rem that design for sure they could be one of these small house brands that exist all over the place. another being science gear made in taiwan and designed in tokyo with*sticky metal* good enough stuff but no resale what so ever ur stuck witthese if uchange ur mind
  3. ive tipped a cpl of my fire expreses for use as faiway woods and its perfectly fine , it makes the ball flight lower and straighter and it doesnt really makethe shaft feel worse but i cant find out till nex tweek when iget back to tokyo if that affects the proto. il ask my clubbulder what he thinks.
  4. post a picture...,
  5. oh boy ......................., ochid golf club in singapore this morning in a comp with my mates bit of coin on it, no mucking around top draw stuff. ryoma ~~cray 80 ls noir set up agn oh boy ..., well im now super confused. smashed the cover of it allday, played those tourstage yellow hard balls the ones idrive plays. not sure ofthe model name, but they are hard nad spin beautifully on the greens dont like the feel on the putter face but i certianly liked where they stopped all day! super ball! most def now my alternate taken over form the srixon as no2 nothing tho willl repalce the brills..., back to the driver have i said oh boy yet??? every driver had a draw that tok it form the right hand bunker to the middle ogf the fairway about 280 meters. ive got a bushnell range finder and i wa menatlly plotting the driver distance averagve about 270 meteres with te wind into it 250 aimed everything at the right touch line and most found the right fairway on rolled to centre. mid flight not low not high, no ballooning. not much roll bec the ground like marshmello over here. felt absolutely comfortable over every drive to repeat the same shot over and over went super hard at a cpl and laid low on a cpl didNOT turn over hook did not slice just straiggt with small draw the best fall flight on any driver ive ever used. and it hit about 10 drives like that . oh boy....., what to do.
  6. seriously id have one of these floating about my all time easist drivers to hit and smoth are the on-off form 2009 the diablo the xxio adn this thing this feels the best by a way tho. good stick chaps good stick this spins a hell of a lot tho. so its vital to get the shaft fitted poperly , even more so than other heads with the right shaft t his is a hell of a fairway finder
  7. feel wise epon over the ryoma...., yes when i got the middle of both of these the epon feels better and grabs my attention longer. nad ive only played one round with both the epon 102 proto and ryoma crazy that round i played with the epon was memorbale. i like the look of the head at adrress more as wel. both are top 5 drivers tho makes no odds just when i drive well id rather use the epon. and that my best shot day in day out.
  8. have to be the epon 102 quadra proto and the ready for this.................................................... diablo gd ev6x 10*
  9. heres my fav driver heads in no order epon101 epon 102 yamaha v 201 yamaha v 4.6 rpm yamaha v 4.6 onoff xd ryoma v spec j beam 435 adn 425 yonex nextage 430 callway erc 3 original diablo TM tp burner thats off the top of my head thers obv. some glaring omisions but for my swing and style everyone of these has served me exceptionally well. if i was to be given any of these and thast it, id have no probs what soever. top heads all these..!
  10. yep spot on! plus the lie angle look or is different
  11. aha...! either duffer or u will be in trouble for palgerising that pooch! wow. juts wow. if only my missus gets hooked then ill be heading down same road. simply awsome bags
  12. how does someone actually do this ? how do they think of it love reading these thngs wish i could have sniff of a clue of what it all means
  13. the 2009 model yes indeed its terrific. i use the 2008 the v4.6 as a back up ebceasue the lie angle is a bit more upright looks like the best draw ball head . the 2009 i think is a bit more fuller and punchy but a flatter lie these all lanch low the 10* is perfectly ok for me. fantastic feeling club great back up
  14. hha hha yea i say it every day the yamaha uts is a bloody beauty how does that foil on th base go its a bit offputting to me i m using the older fric off one and love it

  17. current model yes new i think they are about 800 ish used and in great nick u would be hard pressed to get one under 500 i would have thought i certian;y wouldnt let one go for anything less. more like 600-650 id say ball park ????? maybe more.
  18. if my lovely wifey allows me to snaffle off for a hit then thast where ill be heading btw.., looking good for a return to eden we think well be back next week long as that reactor is stable(ish) living from a suitcase when ur by yourselr is ok but with a fam,ah awful.
  19. i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed my irons ........, i had to play with callaway x 20 uniflex things on sun , wow it was like looking at tennis racquets on a rod sposed to be the easiest thing around i have no idea how to hit em. miss hit everything, big off set rounded things , yikes! was awful! pls let me get back to my home and normality agn soon.
  20. hhaha., only lesson im qualified to give is how NOT to hit an iron ....., i got a Phd in that at the monent! might try ria bintan next sat i think, thats a beauty!
  21. wow. fellas this is giving this away! the USED shaft price alone on this is normally around $500 if u can ever find one! i have the exact club in stiff and its a magnificent driver. dont be freaked by the X sticker on it these play a bit softer then a typical X flex , distance is gargantuan and u can work this to your hearts content. id say SS of 105+ will eat this up, and its been SSt pured. pete , what on earth are u getting instead?
  22. theres so, so many great woods. for feel the epon yamaha are my 2 favs. for ease that callway thing and on off straightness the j beam and ryoma distance wise all are pretty darn good . cost wise the maruman conductor... id gladly play all these without hesitation what so ever. just get the right shaft in these heads and roberts ya fathers brother.....,
  23. yea drove it well irons were horiific, on the 18th i hit driver , 3 wood over the creek and missed the hole on the fly by 4 feet and i left the eagle sitting over the cup. i have to say this was a good drive.
  24. hha trhis was at the nd of the day i was knackered! hard to get my arms roubnd the buddah symbol after a million balls! forgot abt this one this was a good driver...,.! the only callaway ive liked is the ERC3 and ilove that but this is just a simple to hit easy peasy driver. great feel hot face liked this thing a lot.
