gamed this yesterday at my home course which is tight liike a tiger. no bad drives here or ur dead. small draws the most favourable shot for the best position. distance..........., very good ,i wasnt getting this pure for most of the day, i was hitting it high on the face, mostly in the middle of the club so direction was good all day but the loss of overall diatnce considering was very acceptable. the shots i got out of the screws were as long as anything else ive hit , there was no discernable differnce, i know this course so i know exactly where the ball ands up. and this driver was right on the mark. feel........., well, this is the biggest differnce in my usual prefered drivers. its super solid and hard in the face. the ball "tongs" not "wooooooooooshes" there is instant feedback to where uve hit the ball on the face. its a litle weird to get used to bec the feling of the epon nad co are so soft and homely, this is the exact opposite. for the first time i got to play the stinger shaft in a head that highlights the shafts properties and oh boy,is this thing taught! the shaft is probably too taught for me , playing at 44.5 inst ideal either, i like the 45 inch length best and i still grip down and try and turn it over, even at 44.5 when i did this it was hard to do, and i had the weights set to draw bias., look........., at address its a very confidence inspiring head. doesnt look like its a "hammer time" driver ,more of a placement tool , but the distance results are good. could always see a shape when i needed it ,and usually hit to that spot , small draws most of the day over all i liked this driver, its not he biggest badest dog on the block, nor is it a pussycat. its a good easy to hit solid impact driver, my thoughts are ill bag this on windy days. or on links , where i can get t he ball to run a bit and i dont have to go super hard and try and hit the green type of swing. its got a place, somewhere in the rotation , id htink a slightly softer flex shaft would be better tho.

played these yesterday very good feeling shaft normal launch, mid flight no ballooning at all , not worm burners and , dont have to try and hit the cover off the ball to get them to work. dispersion was good, and could move them about a bit nicely liked these a lot and will prefer them to the modus, better feeling for sure. they are very expensive! unfortunatly ............,the heads they are in didnt comply to instructions! but the shaft feel is terrific. highly recomended.

  6. haannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngon a tic..., this i looks like a holden ute body no? is this hs own made thing? if thats got a v10 in it thats the most rediculous hting ever i use to have a v6 holden ute and it needed sand bags over thback wheels to keep it form sinningof the road. whast hte body is it BMW ?
  7. forget the head cover.., yes its shiiiiiiiiiity and cheap get a DWD magnetic one they are the NUTS... forget the shafts look. its a crazy .its rocks concentrate on what happens when u hit this thing off centre which is what 99% of us mere mortals do and see where the ball ends up. im sure u will over look a cpl of the displeasing visual inadequacies you have mentioned. get range finder and mark off where the ball is. be very surprised if its not out there with most others uve ever hit. i hit a career shot on sunday with mine. never been anywhere near where the ball ended up no where close. i over came my what ifs that second forward...............,

very good to know. i was thinking of these seriosuly for a ver y good set ive just got. i love the feel but i also found they went high and i hit the stiff. but just on a range. and only with the 7 iron epon af tour i did shaft a 4 iron prgr egg im using as a quasy utility with the modus 3 tour 120 x flex and havnt found anything ngative so far . in fact im likning the feel of it imensly , lower than the 1050 x in the other ive got. tighter as well. i ve been hitting the Ns super peening orange a bit lately and they are a bit high, but oh so tight no balloning on them and just the smallest bit workable. im prefering these to the SP blues in general, but in the wind ill use the blues. the tour x flex must be the go on these.

welcome to JDM heaven..., there are so many choices ur head will spin. the 2 u mentioned are great , good u found those straight off, if u like one of those particularly, then no probs at all porblem solve instantly. the on offs are very very good sticks in fact they are up there at the top of the pile id say fellas? not going to "beat" their feel. most will feel pretty similar. just amtch the right shaft, NS anything suits those heads really well. if u like those then go them str8 away they are tops.
  10. only in the nets. came off really wel. lots of head speed and even i could turn it over liked it. yes it looks like a 3 wood

yea thats the one. really solid impact. doesnt feeel like theres any give. totally differnt style to yamaha and epon its more like ok point it there shoot it out there it lands, and it goes a really long was as well. yea iheard it came in the upper echelon for distance. but i think its more of a control driver rather than length differnt concpet underneath but it def works when u change the weights around. good looking club at address. i think i cud have even hit an akira straight last night tho . well see in the game my question to them at the trades show was how the hell do they get off charging the same for this as the epon when its made in china ??? this totally beffuddled me. if what i was told isnt the case then brrrrrrrr the price is way to high for these. still..., feels pretty darn good.
  12. thats the puppy im talking about! love this thing.

oh boy.............., ive just gone and done it again. id had this head sitting abandoned, shaftless, listless and unhappy for a while. it was originally shafted with a stinger 60s, but i didnt like it, it ddnt suit , too pingy and light , so it must have been the head, bec i know htis shaft and its a beauty. so i abandoned it. like a rabid dog. till last night...................., i was at nakajimas getting some goodies adjusted and isaid what do i do about this , its a , wait for it. yen 68,000 head, thast the same as epon,! it sits next to the epon, so naturally it got my curiosity up.i bought it and it just didnt do it. he said look try this experiment put the 70x in it instead if it doent work well sell it for you, they go like hot potatoes to the underground driver crowd so i go sure why not nothing to loose. at the range last night hitting the best balls ive ever hit ,,,,,,the most consistant sesion ive had found my iron paly agn found my swing flaw and , well alst night i t was 100% cured. so i took this driver out for a run at 445.5 i was a bit iffy on it , thought it oo short , till i hit the screws on my first 10 shots and it split the netting in the middle of the range! wow baby......, this is NOTHING like the same club i abandoned that extra weight tighter torque and shorter length made this a totally differnt driver. i did some more research on this littel number and its......... assembled IN CHINA.............................! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..................... sac re bleu! the designer is rated no2 in japan ,behind the king at fourteen and prgr. he was the lead guy at dunlop for a long time i beleive. so his vintage is well , its gotta be ok. this is his own baby. just a beautiful looking driver head , nice head weight placement great balance very classic design why they made this in china im trying to find out but its a tthe same factory as calaway and taylor made , so my guy assures me its the bomb. all ican say is ,im gaming it this weekend to see how if it goes like it did last night , if it does, then i gotta problem!
  14. those shafts what does that equate to in steel shaft speak?

theres a honma shop near my office. honma only fitting shafts the whle shebang i pass it everytime igo th e bar to discuss the problems of the world. stop in have a peek inside most nights. they have a cpl of sets of gold clubs under lock and key and im sure hte shachos around town buy them everything i see in there doenst look good for golf, it looks good for trophy. imsure honma arnt making clubs for "golfers" the exception to this is hte driver i hit at the tokyo show was good! and that shaft the stock armq was good. the irons ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fagettabarrrrrrrrrrrtit
  16. good stuff. ive gone a similar path to you, repalcing my egg withte roycoll 304p and a yamaha v both i think are more versatile than the egg, but i still think the egg is the longest out there tho roy coll has the a fantastic feeling plus workability is second to none still got my older bbd type h as welll. mine are shafted withthe crazy 80 fw and that suits just perfectly. that p9003x is a sensational shaft, u didnt tip it to play in fw did u? i would think it wold struggle to get airborn . brilliant set up you got there.
  17. Ohhhhhhhh they are the only thing from tm id hit they are money my mates got these they are beautiful! If only i didnt have 675544566 sets of irons theyd be mine

ithink so .., i get the idea ,yea..., i have a diablo piece of gfl SPAMM driver at homw that spins like mad, but boy it goes straight, juts goes straight no where. i reckon i hit this thing better than every driver ive ever hit but 20yards less and high, never done a test on a LM with hit but i bet its monster high i actually like to play this at a cpl of courses that arent long , but bruatlly hard, like pete dyes and muirheads designs. jsut swing and it goes somewhere down the middle not very far, just feels shiiiiiiiiiity, light, cheap and looks horrid, but it works! the control im getting with te ryoma and the nior shaft is quite eye opening for me. regardless fo my swing im getting great small draws pretty much every shot. theres something to be said for just hitting this shaft bec it suits my profile so well. but that would spoil allllllllllllllllllllllll the fun....................,
  23. this 901 head........., i have in my zone sprout protos, and the j beam do thier cavity with as well very popular mould , great looking and beautiful to play. very easy to hit but with a bit of "playability" the grind is the big thing on this head, the sole here looks smaller than on my prtos. really nice feel. the wedges are a very versatile grind. very good off hard pan ground and great rom abunker to hit offf the toe. design i think is beaiutiful, simple and classy.
