are these a US model or something? my mate has a set i hit them yesterday, totaly worng shafts DG s300 SL but the feel of the face and the look of them is sensational. bautiful irons im very tempted...............,
  4. i had a hit with one in a 5 iron ast week nad i thought itwas beautiful weight was same as the ns sp only hit to a net so didnt se the result but the feel ts just terrific
  5. ive been waiting for this test result looks like its a pretty close result huh? i tink i agree the j beam is the long ball lama after 2 games thkis weekend with thr ryoma today and beam yesterday i think th beam takes the cake . the ryoma is prob more consistant for me but the jbeam out the screws is big. launches low huh told ya 10* would be no probs what weight did it come out?
  6. thats impossible! but atm..., ryoma and epon quadra proto
  7. the tour models def dont! the new s series seem straighter than the m they are all pretty high launching it seems
  8. jeff i think the tj 46s shaft is the longest of them all. they are virtuall sanp hook proof, which is why they suit that crazy head so well. plus the crazy is def a flex stiffer than the quadra. as much as i like to swapadn change shafts im not gonna touch the ryoma its perfect as is 321 x d1.5 x 45 taking a yamaha tour stinger out today to play in unison see how this stacks up agn, havnt hit this in a while such a waste!
  9. at the range today on grass. comabtants were.. jbeam 435---crazy tj-46 srixon z\tr tour--- miyazaki kusala epon 102 crazy 80ls 2 epon 102 quadra proto ryoma--crazy 80 noir Tm r11 white thing some crapola stock piece of spam shaft . on off 2011 --roddio si6 s cpl more but these wre hit the most for compariosn i gamed the jbeam crazy bec i was hitting that the most consistant b4 the match, good decision bec on course i was killing it missed a cpl right which is to be expected with tis set up unless u get the hands completely thru on it it loves the right side, so for me it makes me really think about turin the hands over. hit a cpl of giant shots, really long monsters. its super straight , low and rolls a ton, the shaft was a tad too soft it was the 7.2 or s shft, i like the feel of the 7.7 better, and yes you cna rally feel the differnce. thsi driver is 314 x d2 x 46 inch really liking the jbeams , really good heads. the epons are the best feeling for sure, both those shafts are top class in this head. nothing else need apply in these heads. these suit perfectly perfect flight for me gets some good carry with good roll, no where near as low as the jbeam , utterly sensational clubs the new 2011 srixon tour 425 miayaki kusala combo.............. hmm def a proper tour style head rounded, deep and workable. about a billion times better than last yrs one, the tour is a seriosuly good piece. that shaft is avery good feeling shaft, i know absolutely about it but its very stiff and pingy, something likea tour palyer would like id imagine, not gretafeeling, not bad just like what a good player would expect. def on the stiff side of S, not to be toyed with. distance was good. on off 2011 , real surprise, they amde this lot more rounded , fuller and deeper than thier previous models and thsi is by far and away the best onoff to date. thsi combo is a LOT lower than the other models and super easy to hit. beautiful draws all day my partner was getting 10 odd yrds more than ususal. we were all pleassantly surprised. beautiful sound as well very whaaaaatinnnnnnnnng... and good ball flight looks like daiwa had done a lot of homework last yr to get this up to date. superb club! TM driver spam..., no clue what this is r11 with a gold bottom triangle that makes the club go open closed square with a white body. i HATE tm and all thier 70 new drivers per month BUT ihave to fess up this triangle thing is good, one of my all time best ever drivers is the burner TP. that thing was just so straight and short. this is like a new version ofthat club the shaft tho is a piece of spam on this , no idea what was in it a stock thing felt hideous but after 10 shots with this , and that was 9 more than i expected to hit ..., after 1 i went hang on a tic...............,let me hit some more. i shot 10 dead straight down the pipes about 20 odd yards shorter then the other top JDMS, but none the less 100% of these went dead staright i love the look of the trianlge shape driver and the whitehead is bloody good. i hate that i like this driver, i hate that fact , but fact is fact and this was the most consistant staright shooter of the day just 20 odd behind the rest, hey if thats yr thing then this is perfect, its not mine. but if i fall apart ill be running for one to regain confidence in a millisecond.......... its all carry no roll what so ever. ryoma v spec .. longest, draw ball every shot. great feeling, mid low flight. ididnt game this purposely today bec id gamed it 3 times in row with superb results and i wanted to see how the others go agianst it . well. i gotta say after todays game and bout another 200 odd shots on the range ill say thsi is my best driver. the draw bias shaft might be the reason but its just so noticeabe my confidence with this in hand is better than everything esle. i cant ignore it anymore. stil think the others feel better but over all this is my new NO 1. that noir shaft is just the best suited shaft for me, beautiful small draw. its back in the bag tomorrow......!
  10. well..., what aday..., the stig nad i took 12 drivers about the same 3 woods and a heap of other woods and utes hit a ton b4 the match and ton after it my shoulders bloody killing me. the e 2009 shingospec shafted egg at 279 cpm and 328 grams 3 wood was a BEAST.....! its preopsterouly long, much longer than my new model egg with the crazy 80 fw and its like an elecrtic eel the feeling is that alive! i bagged it and hit a cpl of superb shots. got it turn over nicely and was wow..! no idea where ill play thiis tho. im thinking its going back to oz its low too the high launch of the egg has been muted with this shaft it wil run like cath freeman. the new egg in comparison was way way higher. that other 5 wood also was a beast it reminds me of the tour edge exotics, big face suoer long 5 wood. i hitthis against my yamaha^stinger x to see how it went nad the on off was just a cannon, with that tour proto shaft.was smahing it. distance prob the same , but the stinger shaft is just so tightits rediculous. the onn off was easyier to move around but i liked that yamaha better easier to hit not sure what im gonna do withthese fairways i just bought them bec shingo had them made. kinda collector i guess, not every day u get to get a good palyers actual clubs. they are bulletts but i like the yamahas better.
  11. i hit 2 utes today droppeed the 5 wood and hit the 19* yamaha d ut. shafted that with e NS 950 fw 5 wood shaft and it played really well!. the other is my egg5 iron i made into a ute and that im here to tell us is the success story of the yr so far! i was hitting par 3s form 185-215 with it either high fades or straight draws. swing super slow with it and just let the egg face do all the work. thta thing is staying in my bag for ever 22* im rotaing the 19* with a 5 wood tomorrow to compare th out comes but il tell ya that yamaha ute is a bloody beauty. going to see how i go tom b4 i change up the shaft bec the steel one was suited brilliantly.
  12. nah, i just wanted to try cpl of differnt combos i know how the egg plays and i know the yamaha inside out the roy colls are ab it more workable the yamaha is a bomber. dying to try the old egg shingo , wholly schmokes this COULD potentially be my best ever. clue less till i hit it tho. u know i love rodddio stuff. im in the minority but it keeps getting better and better. i thought abt this whilst chatting to another member last night , and it dawned on me that i beleive rodddio coud be .........., about the best shaft s for swingers in the 95-105 range. i get a lot of bahumbugs on this but the proof is in the pudding..............., i say that bec both my golf pals use roddio exclsuively.........., in everything ........., and they have picked up 20 odd yards over the last 2 yrs maybe more. and they are bang in the + - 100 range 100 tops id say their top, top end f shats for harder swingers i think launch a little too high still but i aint hit the "tour proto" yet , which come tomorrow! and which im assured.................... is as good as all the big boys. well see.
  13. hahahahah theres always cpl of beauties lurking..., thse wedges just freaked me out too much i dont like fat top lines and these were enorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmous......, the woods tho il pop up the photos tonight tka e cpl of snappies when i get home. ill get a spl of snaps of the wedges as well so u can see what im talking about its really IS.............., a case of us and them.
  14. im back buddy landed on tues. unless the water starts glowing, were here to stay. prime golf season, season officially starts this wekeend with double header bags for weeeknd are........ narita GC , 7200 yard BOMBTRACK . EPON 102-- crazy 80 2 egg- shingo spec onoff roddio proto yamaha 22* d ut --NS 950 fw yururi flatback--NS super peening orange. kyoei rafw 07 52-57 61 wedge that should put me in good positions to score , these are going to be long im sure. sunday at TCCJ j beam 435 --tj46 ROY coll 304p 15* -- crazy 80 fw roy coll 304 p 18*--crayz 80 fw egg 22* ute--ns 1050 s miuraisms yururi tour 52-58 61 wdges this set needs to be VERY accurate , distance not important here, hence the jbeam in the mix and the roy cols bec i need to work the woods alot on this course. and the ute need to high launching and soft landing. oooooooooh im excited..... back to home golf agn. $$$$ on the go could be a good weekend , hoping to clean out my pals and have them pay for my on offs!
  15. ahh yes sorry its techno composite the carbon comes form thast what i meant.. sorry game it nah i have a few too many im in love with if only ihad the girls like i do the drivers huh? the closest thing im thinking of is the fouteen driving iron thast a distinct probability
  16. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....., Goodsie , why didnt u post this 2 days ago!!!! i JUST pulled a DG s300 form my yamaha d ut 19* and replaced it with a NS fw 950s heres the thing these yamaha utes DONT take iron shafts they take wood shafts the hosel size is for FW shafts and i was contmplating putting my roddio tour proto shaft in it but thought thta was a waste of a shaft. after this i might do that tonight. the yamaha 19* for me goes really low , 240 ish no probs, its super solid beautiful feeling (even with that hidieous s300 thing in it) and from a bunker as you say its a no brainer def wont replace the 3 wood but its def an alternate on differnt tracks. i can see me using this and the 3 wood and ousting the 5 wood on occasions on long tracks. As for distance . my mate hit his titleist (not sure model , and , hes a beast, im telling u hes the biggest hitter ive ever seen by a county mile. ) from a fairway 13* ute with e V2 shaft 110 grams xx flex 285 ON THE FLY if the bunker bank wasnt there to stop it , it would have rocketed 3oo+ not a problem i fell over laughing i didnt think that was possible nor would have i believed it if i was told, but i saw it. iwas standing next to him whn he hit it. ( he did play on the US celebrity tour and hes the best golfer ive played with, and a monster) he hasnt had a 3 w in his bag for eons , now i know why.! Goodsie im gonna take ur advice here im shafting this puppy up with the roddio s7 proto 3 wood shaft..., this might open a whole new world up...........,
  17. yea that as the thing with this driver it was so easy to do the other s are fidgety and cumbersome this was just twist , ur done, that shaft was good too im pretty sure the armq shaft is made by qaudra, im ight be mistaken but im pretty sure it is. the head o nthis loks nothing special at al and with a stock shaft i gave it a real nudge i was very happy with it id play it for sure and i wasnt even wamred up really jerky and cold. all the new drivers are just so good nd easy to hit the shaft and that head angle changes system are the key to this club i think...,
  18. Its not every day u walk into a shop and the smiling girl behind the counter says. "ahhh Stewart- san............ chotto matte ne" (1 second) comes out from behind the counter and says " i have been keepingt hese for you, thought u might like." i naturally am taken aback and she produces shingo katayama made. for ....... onoff driver with 2010 shaft 2009 pr-gr egg with 2010 shingo spec shaft on off 5 wood with roddio s8 x" prototype tour" shaft 53-59 on off tour used wedges im gobsmacked as you can imagine. the driver my mate bought immediatly i took the 3w and 5 wood just beceause it was such a never to be repeated offer. but thewedges are well u gotta see em, the thickest wedge ive ever sen ths back has been welded to double thickness and ground like a dent sole. these were all made by the roddio guys for shingo best mate! aparently h knws the shop owner pretty well and sells hsi stuff there. now im the proud owner taking them to narita tomorrow to use in my match report on there performance seriosuly im dying to se how these go piccys to folow...........................,
  19. this was anothe nice club , that armq shaft was by a mile the best stock shaft in nay driver.. by a mile that system for changing address is the best as well. they are onto somethiung very good. hardly missed withthis i think this was the first driver i hit i was slow and cold and the ball got out here plenty honma i liked, fist time id ever it anything honma.
  20. perfect thks
  21. if anyones got a cpl or ............., maybe 9.............. ill take em..,
  22. nah i dont think its out yet actually. im going to consider it for sure it was really nice. but im kinda long those resuces now with yamaha ,prgr eggs, and an adams but i cant dismiss how this felt nad played really. it was terrrific
  23. chris thats my club, you will love it, its a draw ball. it s long its gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood...!
  24. hey welcome the forums, and very good stuff..., great piece. there is somehting about the crazy shafted clubs IMO that just seem to make the ball end up longer than most others. they are a bit trickier than most but when u get them wired they are worth every cent i reckon. that noir shaft is DEFINATLY a draw shaft bec im a pretty good slicer ,NO, thats wrong im a great slicer, and this shaft just goes left in such a nice way. as for just one driver in the arsneal this would be a definite contender in my book but i still think the epons got it covered over all. this has jumped up a peg tho for sure. top 3 , yea def top 3.................,
  25. Well im back in Jp, aprehensive at first when we landed this am, heard another big shake occured yesyerday and another tsunami warning was issued and that the water in fukushima is and i quote ten million timesover accpetable........., no mention it was in the reactor seriouly WHAT A LOAD OF S.....T! Its perfectly ok here in tokyo, everyone is fine and the new shake want felt in tokyo if at all. Ive turned off the foreign run info services and if i ever meet a reporter form one of the american news wires theybetter start running bec they are nothing more than scaremongering vultures, absolute rubbish reporting! Not one guy over here that stayed had anything bad to report the news tells it like tokyo is "on the brink" the worst news is my favourite course in ibaraki old orchard is beat up and wont be playable for a month the ground cracked open ShEEEESh....! Us tokyoites are fine and dandy and i shud have come back days ago. Sure ur restricted to 2 bottles of water at a timebut all the lights are on and tokyo is hummingall be it somewhat more dimmer , everyone is so good about energy conservation and going about thier lives as normal i dont know whatplanet thise morons are on that are reporting but it isnt here, if id had the facts i would have been back ages ago. Helps when ur wifes brothrr makes x-ray machines for a job and he sends u an email stating the facts!!!!!! The north is in trouble and its still cold up therr but its sakura season right now and its absolutely beautiful in the. cApital as we speak. Lord knoews the.north needs our help the tokyo ice hockey team drove up to sendia last weekend with3 lories of supplies for the people always rely on the canadians when it gets tough. The country is rebuilding as we speak and e veryone believes they will fix that. Bloody leak! Cmon japan!!!!!
