  1. yamaha d series...., 2009 on ooff red. i think would be hard to top , top makers and top quality shaf the on off with a roddio tri or pentacorss and the yamaha with anything that suits you. i think youll have a tough time beating these combos. and u might fine the viq becomes your back up!
  2. T might agree here but the on off is a great club, my mate hits it and he changed from the egg thinks its much easier, more classical and hes using the roddio m6 reg shaft swears by it that might be well worth considering?
  3. where...... how ......,do u get this T ur a legend.

im absolutely furious beyond belief about this but a caddy dropped my yonex on the pavement last weekend nad the face is scratched up. is there a way to repair this, theres definite litle chicks out of it and its unsightly and annoying, plus i cant get 10 yen back for it in that condition. im HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLOING about this. any thing i can do, can i send back to the factory or something?
  5. ha, addiction is a nassssasty word., id prefer the phrase ..............." a zealous shaft enthusiast" yes my love and repsect for quadra is well and truely documented and ingrained. ive finally worked out my perfect shaft from them and its the "75 xs" and it feels best in the yamaha v 201.... im NOT changing that puppy!!!!! playing last week did me the world of good working out the best combos i have . the epon 102 and stinger 70s is magnificent ,its med low launch bec of the shaft flight and head @ 8.5* but shots run out like "" Yiannis Kouros "" the crazy range im starting to hit more now, ive said all along i absolutely love the feel of it , but i struggeld twice with the go right thing in a match so i got freaked and switched agn. the quadra or stinger dont do that . (((read , me with those shafts ))) i just put my crazy black 50 8.2 (x) into my TM superquad and swapped some new heavier weights into it to bring it to 320 x d2 x 45.5 (ill just choke down on it .) for a workout tom morn and im expecting a cannon . the superquad sets up to my eye as a draw head so that should counter the no-go- left thing . the super quad i belive is reknown for long bombs im told , this is my frst foray into it so ill be very anxious to find out, i do love the look of it . i hit the TM and crazy 50 on hols but but it was far too light, tom. it should be perfect. the crazy 80 7.4 (s) my buds swapping me is going STRAIGHT into an epon 101 9.5 head. after months of deliberation ive finally agreeed to swap this for the shingo spec roddio. i absolutley love the feeling of the roddio shaft , but its too high and snappy for me, ive finally realised after too many snap-a -doodle-doos . my buddy whos swing speed is 100 ish maybe lower kills this club , i think hes picked up 20ish yards with this shaft. i play with him very week and hes easily cayght up its all soaring draw bombs , massive carry no roll. for slower swingers he swears blind this is right at the top of the best shaft s there are. i thought it was at first till i got killed left, its just not stiff enough for over 105mph. and hitting it a lot is the only way to find out. ive seen the crazy head shaft combo a lot , most of the time its with the longest yard and plays to 46 inch, so ive never had any interest, ive been curious abouth the head tho, dont like the look of it, but curious, Mjr D has just spiked my intrest here with this review. it sounds like an Enloa gay. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....., .
  6. the egg in 17* f its so versatile off the fairway, and from a tee u can get away with it . th stock shaft in m-40 should see you straight, my palying partner in miyazaki last week was 81 yrs old and was playing the 17* in m-37 and hitting about 180 of the deck so.., id almost guarantee the m-40 wont be a stretch ive hit 15-17-18 and am getting the 22 tonight so im pretty au fait on how they play and perform. the 15 is obviously the longer club and lower launching but the 17 is just so versatile its just a little bit in between for me , and its miles longer than the 18* is a lofted spoon the 18* is a 5 wood. totally different clubs.

Dribbling in anticipation, mine mine mine
  8. i think this quote might answer ur question Just as a quick update... Anyone who wants my 15* Egg Spoon w/Crazy FW80 can have it for FREE!!!! All you have to do is shoot me and pry it out of my cold dead fingers..... love this quote ive plagerised J lots of times on this one. i think this is pretty definitive.
  9. im sure you become great friends!
  10. BIG , second that on the egg. i didnt like the epon , ll but i think that was bec the shaft i had in it wasnt for me. off the fairway i cant possibly think of anything thats easier or more controlled to hit than the egg. im still deliberating what the perfect driver repalcement tool is tho. the sleekness of the face of the spoon sometimess freakes me out offf the tee. i try and turn everything over . i like to see a bit more chunk at tee time bec my wandering mind like to belt the bejesus out of the ball and with the sleek spoon i top balls on occasions. but to move it around and hit all ldiffernt shots NO other fairway wood off the deck is easier or more consistant than ive hit. now ive just seen they have released the new model in 15*---17* woods ---18*- 5 wood ----21* 7 wood i almost bought the whole range last night i was dribbling.! and im going with the old 22* 9 wood as my ute it will be a litte longer than i want it for but i had a good look last night and it clicked. decision made.
  11. TKS i kept going to the lighter shafts which didnt suit. i might even try another DI in the 7 series as a faiway wood shaft i think they would suit beautifully.
  12. T is it corect to say that the DI and EV range from Graphite design are take the left side out of play biased shafts ? and the MD range is non biased ?
  13. ((Epon AF102 8.5° - Graphite Design P9003x)) sorry , hate to do this( JUST once tho..., off topic just for a tic..., )) how does this combo go blader- x ? ive just orderd one of those shafts and was thinking which head to put it in?
  14. ive kinda gone the other way on many occasions ive always hit heavier sticks , then i picked up a set of ns pro 950 gh s shafts in some fouteens tc 1000 as opposed to the 1050 x in m y kyoeis blades and loved the extra flick i can get with my hands. (( im putting that completely down to bad swing fundamentals and having my hands catch up.)) but my clubbuilder insists i am to continue to hit the heavier ironed clubs bec when im on im much better so ......,i do as he says ive been informed that thers a fitting process by which you are fitted thru your hand speed. not club speed i cant wait to pop in there and have them do a fitting so ill know for sure. i think im very wristy and with the heavier clubs i can struggel to get thru the ball when im not playing well and push block a lot of balls, this is my thinking, but im looking to get this hand fitting done to find out for sure. in my mind tho what ever gets the ball closest by what ever means is the best. but i still err to light clubs when the going gets tough and the heavy blasters when im on a roll. prob not the ideal set up for consistency me thinks...........,
  15. finally got to hit this on sat in my mates on -off xd 9* hes not mad on it a touch too stiff so looks like ill get it, which is fantastic bec, its a beauty. been itching to hit this for a while, its really got a sting in its tail more so i think than the quadra but a higher launch, and a differnt feel the crazy has a more glassy feel the quadra has a more elastic snap. i didnt get to play on course with it that might happen this weekend. if he changes shafts. initial thougths are really good strong shaft. wasnt overly high but more a mid launching shot id say.i got a few to trun over so it might not be one of those take the draw out shafts i hate. good looking thing , want to be at $900 a pop i think they came out at . slightly more tingy than the crazy 50 i have in the superquad so with luck this might find its way into an epon or yamaha for a proper work out. but initial impressions were really good. need to hit some more balls first anyone else hit this sucker?
  16. Golds blades huh..., i didnt know about those till just now .......,thats next to check out.! As for the af- tours well as everyone says if u want to play a club thats the easiest softest feeling about then this is it . Ive got a few sets of blades on the go now and. Ive eeked out their pros and. Cons finally ( for me that is) the af tour i use in perfect soft Conditions esp. On nice spongy soft grass. Unbeatable! the sole is alittle thicker than most other blades .and the top line isnt super thin. They are a rounded club they frame the ball beautifully. im playing these right now in conjunction with my kyoeis rotating a day at atime and im basicaly going to the kyoies when its tough conditions and the aftours on great days the Af tours are the easiest and probably best progression from cavities to Blades I can think of.as an all round easy to hit great feeling blade these are tough to compete with they are not the most dynamic club available but. I dont think they were designed to be , they have a wee bit more offset compared to other irons but if u dont want to be cussing all day or ur not a scratch or better then these are the Very top.going From the 302 to these will be a snack,i got an idea get both and tell me what the golds are like!!!!

They are the best looking irons i think ive ever seen that cooperlook is awsome。 im 5 days into my golfathon at the phoenix in miyazKi absolutely the best facilities in Japan. they are starting to grow and plant new grass for the phoenix tourny in nov. ive Played. 4 rounds with the icopper 208s the feel is great the spin is terrific but as i had the same trouble doing With the fourteens just a bit difficult to lay open. im going to try and get them ground a bit bec they feel terrific just want a thinner heel and sole、not sure they will displace the kyoeis tho those giant offset mumblers have me hooked. They have become my faves. Glad i got them tho. They arenpretty good feeling wedges
  18. great photos , dont under sell urself here they are perfect! i saw the 22* egg. 9 wood in shop last week and stopped in my tracks to consider it, wasnt loking for one, but considering i am going to changes my hybrid, this stoppped me. i ve used a cpl of others last 2 weeks and they dont suit at all, its the shape that throws me. ive used a new TM and an adams but the shapes dont suit me at all. i checked out the RC but agn the shapes not ideal , this 9w thing tho........ is very tempting. the 18* is too storng for that role and too big but this might do the job briliantly. im gonna give this a try, as youve probably guessed im prettty partial to the egg range and for a ute style club this is smaller than the fairways but bigger than the typical utes. im gonna go back tonight, bag that elephant. im off playing golf at the "phoenix resort " all next week so everything is in takyubin on the way down now to get the mother of all workouts. 10 games in 10 days the idea! when my winter bag gets settled by this. im hoping the ute situation is finalised. ( just gotta have one of these in ya bag )

worth throwing the bag for a few rounds then? i found the same thing with the fourteens , cant lay em open enough but beautiful feel ,really like those. but not enough to push out the gamers, these copper things just look special gotta give em a whirl.
  23. id presume this has been coverd a milion times already but i cant find any links. whast the skinny on the copper wedges , ive seen a cpl about. they look pretty good to the eye just wondering whast the y play like, im sure spoon, you must have had these in your travels! im curous as to the feel and playability of copper anyone played, has them now?
  24. i got to the course yesteday and reaised id unpacked my damn wedges from the practice session on sat to changes them over to my gamers and forgot to put the gamers in my bag!. my playng partner s like hahah good money coming his way. so im at the check in counter and they have a demo set of fourteen clubs including these wedges band spanking with ns pro 950 wedge shafts in them. i asked if i cud demo them they heartily agreed , and off i went. firsty at address the look reallly good, they sit beautifully, more rounded than what i sue and they frame the ball perfectly, no gleam they have theat creamy look to them. the top line is quite thick , which i didnt like , it made me feel like the ball would cannon of the face an have no feel., boy was that a wrong thought! the feel is as good as anything ive hit, the ball careers backwards with spin . i had the 52 and the 56* in my bag. , i didn t have a 60* so i was relying on this to be opened up, but the thickness of it preclueded that. but for point shoot they are sensational.oh yea, and im changing my heavy black kbs tour wedge shafts over and putting in the ns pro. absolutley loved them. the only thing i didnt like about these clubs was they didnt lay down as well as my other sets to create different angels bec they are a tad on the chunky side for me that is , i use yururi and kyoei and the top line on these are knife thick. so to me everything esle t looks chunky but im sure they arnt, the results for a first time use of a wedge were terrific. helped me along to a nice score and got close for a cpl of gimmies. oh and here the big thing i just read the info on these had no idea when i was playing them , they are conforming. gents these are serious wedges. put them in the top echelon of ur considerations esp if ur after conforming!
