of those 2 sets and u gotta include the shimada 125s.. so 3 sets. I found the SP blue to have the path of least resistance , best feel . all 3 of these performance wise are virtually the same. matters not. the mons are a constant weight shaft as are the shimada 125s. from memeory , so u get a nice kick form the 3/4/5 irons and some pretty flat robust flight with the scoring end! the SP blue are just low......and straight, good luck moving these laterally! best wind shafts ever made. actually.... all 3 of these are.

well, loved.em and left em. 1 round and moved.em on. head size was the defining break in the relationship. although they armt big they are for my eye right now . the off set was aces, feel was magnificemt although a bit too light with tje modus105s , id love.to love.these and one day amd i may (prob will) go back again but i just cant see past small heads for now. didnt play em badly . no comp just hitting , and had a.cpl of absolute scorchers which was.duely noted but not gonna get game time.over what i have sadly. alas if it aint MB its nit me. sigh..

ok monaccos are.not for the harder forgrd./cast heads. u will loose an enormous amount of joy on even the slightest non centered shots. ie, they felt.crap in a-grimd mbs. one.round.and aced them immedialty. one of the worst pairings ive ever.done HOWEVER...... in a set of.epon aftours the exact opposite magic.sheer utter maguc added half.a.club distamce.as.it lowered.the flignt and the butyer of epon was balanced.by tje taughtnedd of the mons. only.thing better in this setof headd was super peening blue. this match as with all epon in unrivalled. sp blue and mons with mizuno, onoff, epon srixon latest models cant.go wrong if ur a.stronger player. blows.the latest modus range.to shreds .. not evem close. other.set worth a look in tjese heads are the shimadas

no real order, just the best ive played as far as I can remember tourstage x wedge black. 2015ish fourteen mt 28 protos 2004ish Yamaha black raw. 2008 ish prgr rs nabla( yes amazing these made it , but I just hit em so well bec they are TINY!) 2015 yonex ezone 2010 ish had to leave a gamut of wedges out but wheni just thought and wrote these we re thones that straight away jumped into my head. ***the tourstage bec they are THE most pear shaped wedges u can get ur hands on, they don't spin like a few others, they are UBER soft (tanks mr endo) and I can do anything with them... anything form anywhere they launch very high so I have to re think distance with them, eps wit h the modus stx (modus 105 prtos ) in them these are as theatrical as a wedge comes, make no mistake nothing ...... NOTHING out perfeoms these if u like to get funky and not just point shoot. ***Fourteen mt 28 protos, well as much as the TS fell like marshmallows these are the polar opposite.similar pear shape but a slightly longer thinner design. these are harsh for feel, the steel is molybdendum( hope that right) something or other and its TAUGHT.. bending these is a no go. these are almost indestructible , they look hard they are hard and the grooves are like vampire teeth, these grip and rip, back in the day when thye were legal they were the absolte top of the wedge tree, limited to 1400 sets I was lucky enough o get hold of 3 of these , one of which I lost he foookeeeen sw (grr!!!) but they are porb my fave wedges of all time. when the ground is short and hard pan these are no brainers to take out. again the ability to wiz em around is easy, not as easy as the TS but they are second only just. ***Yamaha black raw. legal spin monsters. these , especially the 52 rips ball up and moves about like a top. larger wedges, with a nice leading edge tho to grip it moreand making clippin it simpler. pretty soft feel. and a really hearty all rounder, not super workable like aboves , but not impossible .launch low so can go a lower kick shaft for more height or some true temper monaccos and just drill it uber low and piercing straight at the pin!, game these a ton in the wind and they don't let me down, once again the y look fantastic as well! ****pr-gr rs nabls, I have about 10 sets of different prgr wedges from about 15yr ago till now and these one form a cpl of yrs ago have usurped them all.very small compact head . semi pear shape but not really. tiny thin sole but a thick chunky top line and a nice jet black looks, launch is pretty mid with NS 125w wedge shafts and they can be worked pretty easily due to sole thinness. Only semi detractor is they don't really look too great close to the green for flops bec of the thickness of them the high top flip doesn't really inspire as much confidence as with the others, hence ill always game these with a thin LW with a rounded wide sole. for close chips from around the green to bump and run these are numero uno,, and by a mile! my short game chips have improved out of sight with these in the bag. In comp these have gone to no 1s.Hard to take that away. ****yonex ezone forged, by sihinagawa for Ryo ishikawa before he sold out and became shiiiit with kallawaaaay klubbz.not dissimilar to the fourteen mt28s but with more tech, a double step back grind makes for great punch when going hard, a thin topline makes clipping a joy and the semi wide rounded sole makes for a great versatlility, you can do any thing with these as well, but they excel for precise really good wedge players. that's my list . notable close calls are syard bolds sky dream jump mizuno 17 bridgestone 2019 Yamaha 2011 prgr LED yururi 1.618

im done with big heads. done. I cant find the mid on them , its all over the face I took a set out last weekend and then next day my tiny tiny Mbs and the different drove me insane. I hit the big headed things all over the face. got shiit results bec for some reason I was trying to clobber the ball an extra 20 yards with every club, granted when I did get it pure it went further and felt AWSOME!!!!!! then next day I clubbed down and didint miss the ball with my tiny honmas. something subconscious about concentrating more on the centre of the ball and its actually easier to hit the ball with a small club im done with cbs

first time back out with the 7d in a long while. so I thought id do a new piece on it as ive been using my kamui pro/diamana X for a while and cant seem to put It away but sat turned out to be a great day to give the beast another rumble. ok thoughts after NOT hitting this in ages. its so insanely tight and thick at impact, EVERYTHING else is incomparable . its got a feel totally of its own. and remembering the Jbeam 435 isn't really a nice feeling head bec its so round/full, ive had this head with ALL my top shafts and none really fell that good with it BUT this shaft actually livens up the head. which is nice........................, the ball is almost impossible to work. I mean forget draws !!!!!!!!!!!!!, that's simply not gonna happen, no way no how. The ball doesnt seem to go anywhere u try to make it,. it simply nudes off the face and goes straighter than most ON PROPER IMPACT strikes of course! wind , doesn't matter at all aim straight and more often than not itll go where its supposed to . THE thing that has been irking me a bit with it was distance..., it it seems to go less far than I think bec. of how tight the shaft is , im always thinking im not getting value for shot distance wise. so I tend to try hit it harder, On 17 tho with slightly elevated dead straight long par 4 over a carry of 220 and plenty of room to aim at I unloaded 4 bigguns and all that angst was removed. I went back to my old semi fade swing ive been working on changing to a draw shot and hit them , all straight to the mid right of the fariway and all to with in 5 yards of each other. cudnt have walked down there and placed them better really. theres a tree about 150 out and when I get a really good one that where my ball ends up . well they were al lthere so the worry about " not long' has FINALLY been kyboshed, I can now swing more smoothly knowing that im not missing out. gonna be hard not to put this in the bag for the rest of the season! yes.., distance issue removed. in fact distance issue smashed to ribbons! 7d .. im a fan.

20mims hitting the new wedges and Justy Roses mbs at a trade fair day at my range, 5 honma reps all looking totally quisically at me when the simple question ," these heads are forged where" was asked. reply after seveall muttering consultations with each other "made by honma business partners". "some in japan some in china" seems the 717m are NOT made at the same place as the new rose and 727m model which after my guestimate of thier best answer...... and all the new stuff is made in china and assembled in japan. cabt get a str8 anwser out of anyone anymore. to which i OBVIOUSLY chose to mean they aint forged here or they have been extolling thier pure virtues to the days end. i did like the heads tho. and the wedges were rreally spinny, good design but not for me! bte..we shud change the name of this forum to MIC clubs bec EVERYTHInG new is!!!!!!
