I haven't tried it, but i get the feeling the 435R was/is kind of a dud? Very much under the radar, which is weird (if it's good) since it's a newer more recent design than the 425, 445HG and the 435 version 1 and 2? It's almost like most people think we went straight from the 435II to the 535 and Glorious with nothing being released between
  3. Ha ha, I guess for those of us without bladder issues a wake up call is starting to make sense...Like 2-3 AM.
  4. Nothing. Just different stamping.

That TS driver is really good, I used to have one of those. Really deep face, beautiful shape and produces a flat, penetrating flight.
  9. Gotta say that's one of the best looking and best spec'ed out iron sets I have ever seen. That finish is unreal. And durable too, which is great. The sexiest finishes usually are not, looks great only when brand new. Not this one though. Honma really are up there when it comes to fit and finish. They do produce quite a lot of clubs but they obviously have insane QC at Sakata.
  10. Short update. I have now played another two rounds woth the Zero and I'm really starting to gel with it. I've been swinging "smoothly but intently" lately, don't know how to better describe it lol. Anyway, this means I don't overpower the RIP shaft and i have been getting some truly excellent results, mid height, very straight and long drives, feel is outstanding and I really don't have any issues with forgivness at all. An added bonus is that I can very easily tee it low, grip down a bit with this club and kinda "punch" drives that fly low with a tiny fade out to about 230 yards. It has turned into a kind of favourite shot for me, the controlled punchy short drive, and the Zero is the easiest driver I have ever used when it comes to this particular shot. Feels safer than pulling a 3-wood even, so accurate and soft feeling.

    You have 210s? Loft?
  12. Yeah, was thinking the same..Looking at his description he'd be willing to let the Crazy MBs go for like 500 dollars?
  13. A Cappuccino after dinner is blasphemy, that much I learned the hard way in Italy..Morning ONLY, ha ha. I'm an espresso lover, drink a few double espressos daily. When I need a quick pre work-out blast int he morning or if I'm tight with time I quite enjoy the aluminium bottle "The Black" cold or warm coffee you can get everywhere in Japan. I'm not too picky when I'm caffeine-starved!
  14. I might have pulled the trigger on those 502s...But blink and you'll miss it! Yeah, the Believer was a difficult sell, I remember that
  15. Looks great, haven't even heard of this model before this. GLWS
  16. THAT was fast! Good for you man
  17. This looks pretty darn good! What's the cc on that? GLWS
  18. Ha ha, yeah I guess..I can get a bit 'slashy' with my short-ish swing on the days when I swing hard but not good..Been trying to hit the driver smoother with some pretty good results. Like yesterday with the Zero, but it did go very high, but also quite far. Funny how I was expecting a low/mid flight after reading about the Zero and then I got high long floaty fades. Even when I swung smoothly and not overpowering the shaft at all. My miss historically is a slice from out on the toe but my toe mis**ts yesterday went really straight actually, hence I felt the head was pretty forgiving.
  19. Ha ha, mine too! Just picked up a Zero there the other day. Best place for club ho'ing in Bkk
  20. Yeah, that's what I was thinking too..I do have a Miyazaki Kusala black 72x lying around. But then I'd probably really need to go after it hard on every drive.
  21. Had no time for the range, took it straight out on the course for 9 holes today. Just straight to the first tee, was even a bit late so just rushed up on the tee and hit it. First shot was really good, went straight withba bit of a fade at the end, long too. All carry, really rather high ball flight. The best feeling head I have ever tried, just a perfect soft hot feel. Continued to hit it with a slight fade for the rest of the round. Was quiet out on the course today so we had some fun hitting multiple tee-shots. I tried to really step on it a few times and hit a few super high, super spinny sliced shots..On those occasions I felt that I really overpowered the shaft and lost control. I could feel the shaft kinda giving up in the downswing. With a more measured swing the Zero was actually very forgiving, I hit a few out on the toe and the ball went straight anyway, could almost feel the gear effect at work. All in all I almost wish the Zero came in 9 degrees, I CERTAINLY didn't have any problems launching it high, maybe too high in fact. The roll out I hear about wasn't really there, for me the Zero is a perfect feeling, quite forgiving carry monster. Oh, and the shape is just perfect.
  22. Yeah, I know that place. Was there just 2 days ago
  23. I think there are even 4 versions? The Aero, version 2 and 3 and then the Nitro? No clue about the differences, except that the nitro is gas pressurized..? The non-conform versions are indeed gold coloured
