  1. Got me searching, ha ha. Look att this, the T-MBs are probably "ferritic" stainless? http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-dont-magnets-work-on/
  2. This might be it; "Is Tungsten Carbide magnetic? Tungsten carbide products are often made from tungsten carbide powder cemented with another metal. This metal is often cobalt or nickel which is magnetic. 6% cobalt by weight is a typical percentage. Cobalt cemented tungsten carbide is magnetic enough to be picked up with a strong magnet. Tungsten carbide by itself would have very low to no ferromagnetic properties."
  3. Maybe the tungsten sole and plugs are not "pure" tungsten but an alloy making the whole head rather magnetic? It is a multi-material head after all, a lot of it isn't stainless. body stainless, "innards" and sole tungsten alloy
  4. Copied and pasted from titleist.co.jp: Head material : Stainless steel (body), tungsten weight (inner weight) Head recipe : Casting Head finish : The satin finish, charcoal PVD (sole)
  5. Wether that makes them hard to bend I don't know, I think you can make cast heads pretty malleable depending on heat treatment? Anyway it's a bit telling they offer so much customisation for loft/lie straight from the factory, this points to Titleist thinking bending should only be done by them?
  6. I was there 2 days ago and only saw Epon (new) at Art Of Golf. And they carried quite a lot of different brands, like Seven, Miura, Epon. So not Epons own place. And, I feel, pretty damn expensive too. I also saw a newly opened shop right where you enter Thaniya from the BTS, and they had Buchi.
  7. 0.5 over length means 38.5 " 5-iron? Man, this is a good deal!
  8. Try to find an old set of the TM RAC LTs to experiment with?
  9. I saw these wedges today, they come in many different finishes, and the grind work seems really rather unique. Pricey stuff too..More look/art than performance perhaps?
  10. For bend profile, and if I remember correctly even freq, the SPBs and 125s are almost inseperable. 125s are just a few grams lighter. That's about the only difference. Well except for the uber sexy satin/shot peening finish on the SPBs. So, anybody that really love the SPBs and can't find a set since they are discontinued, should go straight for the 125s. That's what I'll do, I game the SPBs in X.
  11. I actually always liked the look of the RBs, wouldn't worry about cast or forged. Hell, I'm thinking about hunting down a set
  12. All RBs, wether straight RB or the G or F versions, are cast actually.
  13. And the SS maraging face isn't also cast? I thought it was.
  14. I think the RBs are a bit bigger, thicker topline. And cast
  15. That's an amazingly deep face. PRGR really design unique/techy stuff, going their own way.
  16. Ok! Looking forward to those pics
  17. I remember seeing a set of DOCUS irons that looked very special/techy and well made in a 2nd hand shop in Tokyo once. Had me intrigued
  18. Didn't see any Epon Kai? Or are we talking about the next, as of yet not published Garage Sale..
  19. These are just overall great irons. I still game mine, kind of a perfect mix of size, offset and excellent soft feel. Good deal here too, GLWS
  20. Did you bend the 302s weak or the Tours strong to get proper loft progression?
