  1. A very well timed post! I just recently saw a set of irons with these shafts in Tokyo and started wondering about them. Thanks
  2. Stunning irons..On a side note, the P2s really look like the perfect iron at address.
  3. I didn't even know this. Thought all cb358 sets came with the blade PW
  4. I held these just a couple of days ago, don't recall the back/cavity being seen from address. Very cool champagne satin finish
  5. Does the MCIs have grips?
  6. The TR500 irons are pretty damn small/compact, low offset. Beautiful clubs, but very far from distance irons from the look of things. Never hit them, but have seen them plenty oil f times. A bit hard to come by too, ltd release as they were. The other 2 are larger/mid size. I think even the epon 302s are chunkier than the TR500s
  7. Looks-wise the 358 has an incredibly square/flat topline. Boxy look overall
  8. Shafts can be changed. In fact, Pros almost never game the stock shaft anyway, regardless of brand. Plus, shafts getting lighter is a trend even on tour. And PRGR is definitely represented "inside the ropes" in Japan.Edit: I just checked, and the stock shaft is 54 grams in Stiff flex which PRGR designates as "M43". Might be you are confusing the stiffness system PRGR uses (m37,m40,m43,m46) with weight.
  9. Same for Krank heads, no grooves. Actually, I think I read somewhere that many "grooves" aren't really grooves ie actual dents in the metal but rather just burnt in score lines.
  10. Yeah, like the replacement for the Legacy line
  11. I find the groove "square" to be the oddest thing..Quite a lot of space on the face with no grooves. Funnily this was standing next to a Callaway PM wedge, the one where the whole face has grooves. Quite the contrast in philosophy
  12. These are just the weirdest looking things! The shaft is some "tungsten infused" super stiff graphite. I mean it's the stiffest shaft I have ever experienced, if you waggle it there is zero movement, even if you put the head on the floor and push on it there is little, if any, bend at all. It's like XXXXXX stiff or something.
  13. There's an iron too, the PW features the most teardrop-y shape I have ever seen in a PW from a set, not specialised wedge.
  14. That's pretty amazing for such an expensive niche product. Can't be cheap
  15. Saw these in Tokyo today, surely a new JDM release? Classy looking, black with silver face (a look I prefer) Not very large, driver was 450cc, woods and hybrid looked pretty compact/midsize too. Made ne think it's a new series replacing the Black series. Driver was offered with loft as low as 8.5 too
  16. I think it has more to do with unusual/specialised specs. 2 degrees flat, 7.0 shafts? You'd really need to find somebody that is already looking for something like this. In addition, at 1500 it's not the kind of set people would buy just to try out for fun. So, unusual specs combined with a high, even if fair, price will be a tough sell. I'm thinking if these were standard L/L fitted with regular or stiff shafts they'd be gone by now
  17. I'm thinking pretty pricey..The look at adress is one of the best I have seen. Looks "friendly" too, not intimidating. These are not super compact or?

Wow, that's a nice set if sticks. You don't see these up for sale very often. Especially not in this condition. GLWS
  19. Did you see them in person? Because looking at the photos here I can't see any finish issues
