  1. Ahh yes, I've seen a few weird ones..The Taro in YELLOW for example, not a good look..Especially that kind of mustard-child poo yellow
  2. Ha ha, I guess I have a tasteless streak because I think they look kinda good in a "different" way
  3. That's true, kasco were early in the Hi Cor game. yes, the Power Tornado is bit of a cult classic, remember the face was kinda elongated. The S-Aging model..
  4. Me neither first, but in person, behind a ball the shape is actually really good. Looks extremely "hittable" in lieu of a better word. Also, the standard heavier head weight is interesting. XXIO have also gone down this road in their latest drivers, heavier head, overall pretty light. Something about mass equals more distance
  5. really beautiful clubs, classic looking.
  6. I have recently been eyeing several Kasco clubs. The Doplhin wedge sets up wonderful to my eye. The seemingly super low bounce is a bit worrisome though, even the 56 is low bounce. They are a bit expensive to "buy n' try" so I was wondering if somebody have used or are using them? Also, the Big Super Hyten TARO looks really really good, 430cc sets up really square and powerful looking. Compact, excellent shape. Also, comes with a extra heavy head at 203 grams as standard. Again, quite pricey to just buy on a whim with almost no info or feedback from anywhere.
  7. I have a T.388 I'm thinking about making a short heavy-ish driver of. But the head is really light, did you leadtape yours? I'm even thinking about using a steel shaft, something heavy and soft. Like a DG R400, if those can be found.
  8. How will this finish hold up?
  9. This is a great deal. Very detailed photos too, GLWS
  10. Yeah, my bad. We have cleared that up through PMs. it's all good now.
  11. Here in Thailand too!
  12. Sure, of course. I'm not saying he is breaking some sort of basic law. Just an observation.
  13. A bit overpriced? T-MBs are 1095 in the pro shop and the last generation I-10s pulls hardly cost 700. New they are 900

The JDM irons are typically 0.25 shorter than USDM irons. So, your Srixons should come out at 38.25 for a 5-iron if you ordered from TSG or from Japan. What was the length then? For a 5-iron?

Is it sold? Would you ship overseas?
  16. Is the GT Type S a bit more of a players driver than the XT? Also, is the S2 the stiffer of the two "S" flexes?

Yes, I think so. Most people need a bit of spin, so the low low spin heads can be a bit of a handful for many. Especially 9.5 degrees
  18. So, do you have a long and loopy swinger kind of swing? I have a pretty short and a bit "stabby" swing, a hard swing so to speak.
  19. I also wonder why they write 70/75 grams for weight? Are there 2 versions of the XX?
  20. I've seen this shaft in a couple of drivers in Tokyo shops. First time I saw it I thought it was some sort of training aid that the staff mistakenly had put among 'real' clubs. Yes, the shaft is extremely flexible. I think I saw the R flex too. It's so soft the clubhead was drooping towards the floor when you held the club out/away from you
  21. Going 44.5 in the T.388 will make it play really light swingweight-wise, so it's probably better to build it to at least 45
  22. Also, what length do you usually play?
  23. As a fellow Swede I'd like to welcome you to the forum! You should really jump on that offer from Chris, that's a great deal for a new T.388, a head that is quicly becoming legendary. I have one in 9.5 btw, and yes the stock shaft is a bit too soft for many many people, so you'd probably need to get another shaft, but after that you'll be good to go! Ge järnet! ha ha

I game the Tourstage S100 ball, blue package. I really like it even though it's an older model ball. I tried it on a whim and liked it alot, then to my delight I found them being sold for cheap at several Tokyo golf shops so I bought a bunch of boxes. I also really like the Kasco Dual Mode X. The "S" version is also good for more spin. The Dual Mode is also an older model, but still sella at a premium price so it's obviously still considered a great ball by many. Also, the Kasco Silicone Power is still a great ball
  25. I topped my HD on every shot for a whole round when I first got it. Was very depressing. But then the next time out I couldn't miss with it, and it was so long I didn't hit driver ones the entire round. Then my buddy, who always really struggled with woods, tried it and hit shot after shot better than ever..He begged me and I went soft because I know how much he struggles with woods, so sold it to him. Cheaply too! ? It was the one with the Fubuki 75AX upgrade shaft too, a really good fit with the Spoon HD btw.
