  1. I also have a buddy that swings pretty smooth but not overly so. He uses that super long shafted Cobra Long Tom and has no problem keeping the ball in play. He hits it around 15 yards longer than his other drivers, and with a lower trajectory too. The long shafts flatten the swing I guess. If you don't "hit" the ball and swing smoothly I don't see a problem using something like this.

Yeah, don't get me wrong. The feel could be described as "pretty good" by me too. Good enough to not be a problem? Of course yes. I had a Miyazaki Kusala Black in the TPRX first and it actually felt better with that shaft, softer with a more muted sound. But the CB80 was better distance-wise. So it feels decent, or even pretty good, but in my opinion it will never feel as good as my R510TP or a Kamui or a Epon head. Or even my good ol' Tourstage 703..I guess there's a reason why people 'cotton' the TRPX heads now and then. The sound is pretty high pitched, which some people love. I usually prefer a more muted or "short" sound

Well, it felt decent with the CB 80, but not great. In general I think this head is not the best feeling, but is excellent performance-wise. It will probably never feel (or sound) very good. The sound takes some getting used to, very metallic and pretty loud

They where super hot a few years ago, I think they won some "driver of the year" award in Japan and tested very well in some Japanese golf magazines. They are still in business I think But they were a bit " flavour of the month" and sort of fizzled out? Often see them selling used both in Thailand and Japan.

Had to take a job on short notice abroad. Won't be back in Thailand until November 30 at the earliest. So sale on hold until then.

Ha ha, yeah that sounds a bit nerve wrecking for sure. I might sell head only, why not in fact. Not sure I have any "Crazy shaft trustworthy" club builder here in Phuket though

TRPX D-013 in excellent condition, with Crazy Black 80 7.4 (stiff) 10 degree head. Nowon No1 grip. 46 Inches long. Incl Crazy weight kit. SOLD excl shipping or trade with some other interesting driver or maybe iron heads. Open to offers. At the moment the Mizuno 611 reigns supreme, so looking to sell/trade this.
  16. Maruman Shuttle 2 or 3-wood is exactly what you want. They are kinda the original oversized/shallow faced Fw's. A more reasonably priced alternative to the Ryoma fairways.
  17. Double post
  18. The standard length means asian std? Like 5 iron at 37.75? Or US standard (usually 38 for the 5-iron)
  19. I actually like the look of this wedge. Techy but not OTT
  20. If you have a bit swing speed hitting this from the fairway is not a problem. This kind of club is primarily aimed at faster ss players looking for more control and still great distance of the tee. It's probably not suitable for the 90 mph crowd, not if you want to be able to hit it from the fairway anyway. As a strict tee-off club, I guess anybody could use it
  21. Noticed the Tourstage stuff, new or used, hold their value well here in Japan. Was expecting a blow out sale of everything TS after they announced their demise..But no.
  22. 35.75? You mean 37.75 right
  23. Aha, good info thanks.
  24. Almost picked up a F3 yesterday, but was also eyeing the F2, couldn't decide. I was POSITIVE the F3 was a low profile skyball kinda head, just by looking at it. The ones I was looking at had aftermarket shafts such in the 70-80 gr range, all the way up to X-stiff. Also one with the GD Z9003 something shaft. And now I hear the F3 is a low launching head?
