  1. I like the look of this driver. It does not really look like a driver for the slower swinger though, with that deep face and bulbous crown. It also looks pretty short heel to toe? I think it looks a lot like the old Honma RF420 head

Don't they come in only 9.5 or 10.5?
  3. Saw these Tour World drivers several times now, they really look super good. Finish on these is second to none, and great head shapes.
  4. Those hand carved wood-mock ups..Just amazing
  5. I might bring an empty travel bag with me to Tokyo on sunday. If so, maybe we could do a local pick up thing? I will decide tomorrow. Nice add btw!
  6. I'd like to know too. Saw these in some shops in Japan and the reserve was even a bit more expensive. I always liked the look of the first gen Ti model, never had a chance to hit it, or any Gloire driver.
  7. Saw both the regular new VG3 and the E-type (larger, more Gi) irons here in Osaka today. The Regular model looks really nice in person, I actually like the curvy lines. The E-type was just ugly, looked cumbersome
  8. Yeah, true. The fact that they are sold at a lower price in the EU/US market, with the same model name and all, probably "dillutes" the JDM'ness of them a bit. Plus, you really have to know your stuff to even know about the Yoro Mizunos.
  9. Yoros are made for you, to your taste. To a persons specific taste, so of course it won't be easy selling them on. It's like trying to sell a custom tailored suit, also not many takers. But I would think that anybody that is interested in a custom set of irons, where you can customise to the level Yoro offers, would not be terribly worried about resale value? In that case, buy a second hand set of Ebay, if resale value is of importance. As for being delicate, are the Yoro Mizunos more delicate than standard Mizunos? If you chose a plated finish? Sounds unlikely, but I have never owned a Yoro set, so I wouldn't know.

Same here, I now bag both the Legacy Black UT and the 3-wood, both the old version, both really really good. Amazing, hot feel, great looking
  12. Sounds like A LOT of fun, unfortunately I'll be in Tokyo that day..

As the title says, where is the best place for JDM stuff in KL? I'm here for a few days, thought I do some browsing
  14. JDM irons are usually a bit shorter as standard. with a 37.75 5-iron. Most common standard length for USDM irons is at 38 inches for a 5-iron. I have also noticed JDM clubs in general have pretty light heads and also SW. This is perfect for me that tend to play irons that are a bit over length at 38.5 for the 5-iron. This means I get a very comfortable SW of around 3 or slightly more after I add length to my JDM irons, doing the same with heavier heads sometimes give me a SW at 7 or even more which is too heavy. I recently put in semi-heavy shafts (DG Pro, I know I know) in my Callaway Legacy Blacks and got a SW at exactly 3 with a 38.5 5-iron build, perfect
  15. Sounds like a lot of fun! As for courses, yeah, many good ones here in Thailand. I live in Phuket by the way
  16. Ahh, no worries man. I can also spray balls at times like on of those ball cannons tennis players practise with, ha ha
  17. It's me! We are doing a local pick up in bkk..

More than a dozen pulls is more than most shafts could take.

Can't PM you, the site is not working properly. Still have the head?
  20. What's the price after the price drop? I thought 475AUD was the first price that was asked, or am I remembering funny?
  21. Blink and you miss it! Damn, I really wanted the Crazy 460 head..
  22. This is a big part of why I'm still swinging my ancient Hawkeye Ti Pro 4W. JDM FWs are usually pricey. Too pricey to buy, rip off the shaft, install another (usually pricey again), and then still Leadtape it to supreme ugliness. Sometimes I feel like I'm lusting for clubs that are just not aimed at me, but aimed at somebody who is one step from a wheelchair or coffin
  23. Speaking of FW shafts, why on earth is it that most JDM FW comes with ridiculously light shafts? Like 50 grams..completely unusable

They are very "popular" it seems on tourspecgolf, although I have only seen the older black model
