  1. Whats the loft on the 445HG?
  2. too many drivers hu? Nah..quality stuff indeed. Why put some prices in Yen and some in USD?
  3. Yes, very true. I could easily see myself with a complete bag of TS. Down to The ball, and even putter. Hell, even The shoes are really good looking, ha ha
  4. Alot of the feel comes from how a club sounds, so not so strange a different sounding head will "feel" different too.
  5. Yeah, makes sense. But The standard talk about rusty wedges is The extra spin they generate when they rust isn't it? So why have a rusty wedge then, if not for the extra spin?
  6. I'm not so sure actually. I've been fitted (several times, by respected fitters) to 3 degrees up and that worked fine. Then I bought a set of blades, and before I had them bent I went out for a round. had zero problem hitting them pure. I guess the fact I almost never beat balls at a range plays a part, since that is about the ONLY time ever that you will have a flat lie. Out on a golf course, even when you think you are on a flat lie, you almost never are, it can never be compared to cement-with plastic turf at a range. And that makes lie a bit of a moot point, even tee off areas are not really perfectly flat, sometimes it's really pretty obvious. I also suspect it might be easier to handle a bit of a flat lie compared to a lie that is too upright.
  7. I also don't like raw finshes, don't like The rusty look and I'm not into having to do a lot of maintenance on the wedge..I sometimes leave clubs alone for Weeks and even months on end, and don't want to return to find the clubs all rusty. I've had this exact experience with raw wedges before. I also don't want the wedge to "develop" extra spin the more rusty it is, I Want it to feel and spin the same as it does when I buy it.
  8. I actually like the Zodia version better, just by looking at the pictures. I like the square raw look.
  9. The original shaft for the D-1 is a Ryoma GD as well if I remember correctly?

Aren't the Modus 130 supposed to be slightly softer but a touch heavier than the Modus 120?
  11. Thats actually callen onset. Yes, really
  12. The latest tourstage GR has much less offset than The old model
  13. It's really that good hu? I've been eyeing this for a long time, both On The internet and in person here in Thailand..it just seems a bit pricey for a hybrid/driving iron type club, especially since PRGR don't offer it with a M-46 Shaft, making a Shaft change more or less compulsory for even average/moderate speed swingers...
  14. Sounds risky, 3 degrees is quite a lot and the egg+ is cast isn't it?
  15. need to swing harder...
  16. Ha ha, well I stated interest in the head too, ha ha. But you got there first I think

    Head only right?
  18. Ok, yeah that's what I thought too.
  19. Apparently there are two different finishes on these irons, one really dark chrome and one that is brushed satin finish. Saw it today, took a photo too, but maybe hard to see much of a difference. The set on the right is dark chrome.
  20. The glassy/creaky description is spot On. Much better analogy than mentioning The word "crack"" it would seem, judging by The wise CRACK comments..
  21. And The Shaft has zero integrity issues, The sound feels like it comes from The middle of The Shaft and not The tip. Mine CPMs out at 280 so it's for sure not too soft for me. But when I really load I hear that sound. I always thought The higher percentage off glass particles ang high modulus carbon was the reason for the sound.
  22. I have experienced this exact phenomenon with my ly-02 Shaft. I also have a pretty aggressive swing and I hear this sound when I really load The Crazy Shaft. A more appropriate description for Me would be a kind of "bow under tension" sound. Like The sound you hear in movi awhen warriors tensions their bows before releasing The arrow.
  23. I just checked, M series 45 and over.
  24. I will have it checked for cpm and everything in a few days, last time I just took it straight out On The first tee and swung away...
  25. Yep, the new stuff looks cool. I'd like to point out though, that they have always had "serious" golfer stuff next to the more glitzy stuff. I picked up a Athport driver, the Athlete model a while ago on a whim because of a great price and it's as good as anything I currently have. The Stiff ARMQR shaft is really not whippy at all, holds up really well to my rather hard swing. More so than almost any other "stiff" shafts I have ever tried. I have kind of a plan to pick up a TW914 driver as soon as the chance presents itself, it's deep faced, forged and low spin looking.
