In search of the Holy Grail ......JDM vs USDM
This is very interesting stuff! We have almost exactly the same SS and I always try to be extra smooth with the hybrid/driving irons and it works great with the Srixons, in one of them I even still have the original Srixon SV graphite shaft in stiff at 77 grams. I thought I would have to switch it out but it works really well somehow. Even though I usually like a bit heavier and stiffer in my other clubs, especially irons. But I waggled the EGG+ a few times and it seems very soft. Your comment about it getting better the harder you swing is intriguing stuff for sure. It's quite pricey, the EGG, for a 2 or 3 iron replacement, and I always figured I needed to change the shaft too. Now I'm not so sure anymore. They should sell these with the M46!

In search of the Holy Grail ......JDM vs USDM
I have been eyeing the EGG 3+ as a long iron replacement. Looks really good, but I play the Srixons right now and like them too. Is the EGG better? I still havent been able to hit it, but it looks really really good at address..Robbie, what is your SS since you use the M43? Aren't the PRGR shafts usually incredibly soft to flex?

N.S Pro Regio Formula shaft...80T? Any good?
Nippon should at least have very good QC I guess. These shafts are MIJ and at least partly 80T then. Even if they are not full length they still cost around 400 dollars or so, so hardly a budget shaft. I always thought Nippon always had "weirdly" low prices when it comes to graphite shafts. So for them to charge 400 dollars I thought it might be something special. Ok, not Diamana X special but at least as good as say Attas, Roddio and maybe even "lower end" Crazy shafts like the 46T ones.

N.S Pro Regio Formula shaft...80T? Any good?
Saw these Nippon shafts yesterday in a club builders shop in Bangkok. Supposedly they are 80T and some sort of premium line from Nippon. According to the club builder they are popular right now because of the great performance/quality/price.

The new BMW Zagato debut @ Pebble Beach
Vegaman replied to TourSpecGolfer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI love the zagato cars, always a bit quirky and not straight up "beautiful" but oh so much more unique and personal. And of course, beautiful too, but never in the safe and boring way. The first photo says it all. BTW the white and blue Veyron in the background of the last photo is just plain ugly..Terrible colour scheme.

TSG End of Summer Sale!
Is the FEX 75X really .350 tip? Not .335?
-
FEX users : Logo Up or Down?
Well, the Roddio shafts should always be installed with the white or silver part of the dhaft up, this according to Tario, info he got from Roddio.

How old is this Epon 3 wood?
That club actually looks really good. Except for the graphics, not dated at all, and to be able to get a forged Ti in 1992 seems incredibly before it's time.

Another set of fake epon 502s on the bay.
So are you saying pureforged sold him fake Epons? Im a bit confused about what you mean, since you wrote he bought the fakes in Scotland, and that's where pureforged is. But then you write in the next post he bought the fakes in Victoria in Australia?

Players CB w/ offset
The problem is usually the other way around! Meaning that a lot of people bemoan the lack of CBs with very little offset and think most every CB have to much of it. I'd look at some I20s or something if I were you?

Srixon Z925 - 380cc adjustable - intrigued

guage design................aluniser.
Apparently it's quite a long story with a lot controversy surrounding the Gauge Design brand. From what i understand there are now 2 gauge designs, one in Japan and one, controlled by Whitlam, for the rest of the world. Some claim the japanese stuff is much higher qulity than the Whitlam stuff, and others claim it's the other way around.

Gravit
Isnt it called Graviti? And they have a shaft model called Waccine?

Tourstage X 707 with Diamana X
I'd like to know too, haven't seen the 707 in real life yet. I agree, with shaft alignment being such an accepted fact you really shouldn't have to turn the shaft over. The miyazaki dromos does claim to be so uniform and "spineless" (ha ha) that it doesn't matter though..It's made especially for adjustable driver heads. But Honma were the first to offer this tech, way ahead of any hyped OEM which is interesting. They also have the compact Perfect Switch 440 and 390 models?
-
Tourstage X 707 with Diamana X
The Honma perfect switch has had that ability for 2 years now?

Shaft flex confusion
Yes, I understand all this but why? Just so the people going for lightweight shafts don't feel inferior? Why not just offer the royal deco up to Regular then? If there are so many variables etc etc why is it that it just so happens that the lighter weight "smooth swingers shaft" always come out as very soft? Why have 7.7 or stiff or whatever writen on the shafts at all? It's just terribly illogical. CPM is at least one part of the equation and the most used when it comes to measure shaft stiffness, so why insist on labeling a shaft at 230 cpm as "stiff"? Why not just call it regular and that's it? I mean AT LEAST use the same cpm standards within a certain brand, be it Crazy or Mitsubushi or any other shaft. That different shaft brands have different standards is a fact of life, but why have several different measurement standards within a brand? Does NOT make sense.

Lexus LFA Manufacturing.... Like no other car company!
Vegaman replied to TourSpecGolfer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearYeah, very cool. But the Koeniggsegg monocoque is 100% carbon fiber, the whole car is carbon, even down to the wheels..So the beginning of the article is not exactly right when they try to tell us that no other manufatcurer is using this much carbon, when the 'egg is using more than the LF-A. Sure, I'm Swedish, but Im not biased, just sayin..
