  1. So, is this the "slight draw" version that can be ordered in the pro shop? Or which one is it? Fade, slight fade, neutral, slight draw or draw?
  2. I've seen the older model that looks similar but with an all grey colour scheme. The brand seems to have a bit of a cult following, their original monocoque driver named "Gigia" won some award in Japan a few years ago, got a lot of exposure back then, some "driver of the year" award from some major magazine I think
  3. Nice looking stuff, back to form for Tourstage maybe? Shades of Xblade 901 on the blade
  4. Yep, I know but from what I remember they only shaft the Kamui heads with House Of Forged shafts, didn't see the original Buzz shafts. Will take a closer look next time.
  5. I have been looking at the kamui heads for a long while, and always thought the TP07S looked really good, but all the reviews were on the KP-X, which also looks great of course. About the shaft, there seems to be 2 different "standard" shafts that you can choose from with the tp07s the Infinire and the Buzz? Looking at the website it all seems abit confusing especially since the infinire shafts have a recommended swing speed starting at 43 m/s and tops out at 58 (!) m/s...? Maybe the "infinire" shafts are some sort of long drive shafts, since kamui pro is rather big in long drive circles.. The 4 star moniker means the flex?

Seems that the Steelfibers are pretty good value at around 40 dollars per shaft? Almost the same price as regular steel shafts

How about the "players spec" ami99 model? Seems like a perfect compromise to get a bit lower flight in the short irons?
  8. Seiko S-yard has a pretty strong following here in Thailand among rich seniors. Expensive, ultralight stuff with whippy shafts. High quality finish..
  9. Ping used it on their Tisi Tec drivers.
  10. Yes, I game/gamed the WA7 in X in a driver, still have it and it's a great shaft. Very smooth feel but incredibly stable, and not whippy in the tip. And, very anti-left, it's almost like it's designed that way. Great kick through impact. I will even take it out the closet for another go now that I reminded myself how good it is, ha ha
  11. How about the Roddio WA7 or 8? Sounds a lot like the shaft you are looking for.

He implied TSG sells fakes. And T wants him here? For some "turn the other cheek" reasons or?
  13. Well, that driver looks fantastic. So that is a different one compared to crz 425 tour?
  14. You mean AFD? I thought the brand name was Solid Contacts?
  15. Yes, makes sense. I will think it over, good idea actually.
  16. So, how would you go about doing this? Do you want me/us to bid on ebay or give you a better offer here? Like, if I offered you 500 here now?
  17. Looks fantastic! One of these might very well be my next of irons.
  18. This sounds really interesting. The Bimatrix made a comeback more or less ONLY because Bubba uses it right? Thought I heard he had stocked up on them, and now they come out with them again. They first came out something like 10 years ago didn't they? Or more? Became a bit talked about then disappeared..Bubba has always been a fan apparently.
  19. Is the Kamui Pro TP-07 always Hi cor, or is that the Aero model? Can you choose between conforming and non-conforming?
  20. I like the look of the Mizuno driver too. I saw a MP Craft 460 the other day, looked good too..haven't tried a Mizuno driver in loooong time
  21. From what I know there aren't any other "house brands" from the larges forging houses? Miura of course, since they forge their clubs themselves.. The company that forges Mizuno, forge clubs for Mizuno only if I'm not remembering wrongly? I play Vega at the moment, and they (supposedly) used to be the house brand of Kyoei, but after what Tourspecgolfer has informed me, there was a very messy soap opera style divorce in the company resulting in Vega now buying their heads from Kyoei like many others. This doesn't bother me since I think the quality will be there anyway.
  22. Ha ha, I know but I have hit Epons many times, I can see some 302s in my future. But I do have the 210kgx I got from you in the bag! My Vega blades are treating me very nicely at the moment though. Besides, is a bag full of Epon required to comment on why Epon is considered top quality clubs? My "views" are also largely guesswork, something I freely admit in my posts BTW, things I've learned from people I respect, read on forums like this one and so on.
  23. The closest Kyoei would have is the Zestaim line I suppose? But even though the Zestaims look nice and are probably very very well made, Kyoei does not seem to be THAT interested in creating a brand with the staying power of Epon. More like they might come up with a different in-house name and line down the road and drop the Zestaim name along the way. But I might be wrong, and Zestaim will be around for a looong time.
  24. I think its a combination of the best materials, expert design team, cutting edge forging facility and, I would say, no real pressure to turn a huge quarterly profit. Or any profit at all even. I think they do good business anyway, but they for sure don't bring a whole lot to Endos' bottom line, so if they are profitable or not is really not important. What is more important, I'm just guessing here, is that they have the best tolerances, materials etc etc..Like it's the pride of Endo that is at stake, and for certain companies in certain cultures that is worth quite a lot in itself. Compare with Bugatti, VW will never make a profit from selling Veyrons, even at 1 million+ pounds per car, but there's a halo effect. Although Endo does not seem to worried about Epon not being that well known outside JDM golf circles, ha ha. I get the feeling they are doing these clubs to please themselves, there own ego or something? Reminds me of a story I heard about Japan Steel Works, the only company in the world that can forge one piece steel vessels with no welds, weighing 600 hundred tons (if I remember correctly) used to house nuclear reactors. They also still have a "division" with a handful of craftsmen forging traditional samurai swords..Does not make any business sense of course, but apparenlty it's important to them? Edit: Found some cool info here: http://en.wikipedia....pan_Steel_Works
