That would be the Benock "BIS" (Benock Interchangeable Shaft)
  2. Made a couple fo last minute changes and they are working out very very well! At least that's what I got out of the two range sessions yesterday and today. I'm glad I made the move to go lighter. 100g iron shafts feel very good to me now. And these Crazy shafts are so accurate! Back to playing on the course on Saturday and it's supposed to be 80 deg F (27 deg) out here too! Excited! I hope this set up works in real world play situations! **** Ping G410 LST / Loop GK Grandista RS-F The III / Loop FW Six TS Grandista RS-F The V / Loop FW Seven Buchi SP-301 21.5 & 24.5 / Crazy STP Iron 85 Seven CB Prototype 5-9 / Crazy CBI-80 Ltd Cleveland RTX 4 46 / Modus 105 Wedge Cleveland RTX 4 Forged 50 & 56 / Modus 105 Wedge Benock Blue Dragon II ****
  3. I've re-shafted the Shinagawa split set with some 75g MMT shafts. Have not hit them yet but looking forward to it!!
  4. They're still in business. I think Swiiish are the best. if you use compact irons, these fit the best. Others are just too loose.
  5. Nice comparo pics!! Love the shape on that R1. The OnOffs look huge compared to the R1s in the last pic!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I've owned a couple of similar devices by Yupitel. I'm sure the PRGR one is as good. I believe the current version is their 2nd or 3rd iteration with additional features. The new feature for this version is that it can calculate approximate calories burned!! Cool! I can show my wife how much exercise Im getting from swinging my clubs!! ๐Ÿ™‚ As long as you don't expect it to be a mini Trackman with the same level of accuracy... then they are very useful. just looking at your swing speed will give you an idea of how you are doing that day in comparison to other days.
  7. Starting May 5th, WA golf courses will re-open. They will limit groups to twosomes ( except when you are a family group who live together ) One person per cart except for family members. No bunker rakes to be made available. Just smooth out the sand with shoes. Pins on greens will not be allowed to be touched or removed. Some courses may eliminate pins all together and use an alternative marker to indicate hole location. The cup on green will be elevated so that balls will not roll in. *** I guess they all make sense from a safety perspective but scoring will be messed up with regard to the no hole/cup idea... I wonder how the PGA Tour will be playing that part of the game ...
  8. Very easy once you get a hang of it. In addition to the shaft puller, heat gun is probably another essential.
  9. The 2018 RS-F 9.5 is higher launching for a 9.5 deg. It's a really good head overall but just a but high launching for me. Feel at impact is better on the 2018 than the 2016 and the sweet spot is larger for sure. The 2016 just has a bit more bite at impact which I like. 2018 is more refined and better mannered. I liked them both but chose to keep the 2016.
  10. Nice!!! I've had urges before to split open a head but never had the chance to actually do it. As for the weight on the heel, I wouldn't be surprised if most drivers (newer than 5 or 6 years) have something similar. Even USDM drivers are slightly more draw biased these days compared to how they were 3-4 years ago. Personally, I feel draw bias weighing with a slightly open face angle works best. That's how my Grandista RS-D is and how I have my Ping G410 LST set up.
  11. I honestly donโ€™t think 99.3 alone necessarily will provide the softer feeling. There are greater factors and variables that play into how the players feel softness in their iron shots. Type of ball and shaft are for sure major contributors in my opinion as with the design of the head. When you compare 99.3 FE head to head against any of the popular mild carbon steel (S20C etc.. ) with the same shaft and ball, I donโ€™t think many will even notice the difference. But then, Iโ€™m a al sucker for Limited Edition stuff!! And thatโ€™s why I have set of the CB-1008 99.3 saved in a box!! ๐Ÿ™‚
  12. I think there are plenty of good wedges on the JDM market now especially with the boutique brands. KYOEI, Seven, CGS Orion, Sky Dream Jump, Crazy etc... I used Miura S-01 wedges a couple of seasons ago til the plating wore off ๐Ÿ™‚ I guess I liked those wedges a lot. Haven't tried the R-01 yet but pretty sure they perform well too. I currently bag a pair of JDM Cleveland RTX4 Forged raw. It's very orthodox and spins well. Not Gekku level spin but enough to stop on most greens and don't need to switch balls every 3 holes.

I think feel would be pretty close. but if you want super soft feel, just use low compression balls like Chrome Soft or AVX . When you say โ€œ accuracyโ€ of a wedge... what do you actually mean? Forgiveness? Consistency in distance? For wedges, I feel that โ€œaccuracyโ€ is mostly a function of the player and their skills as long as you are using a good quality forged wedge. Miura , Kyoei , Seven are all top notch quality wedges in my opinion. Would game any of them. I think the distinction for wedges are shape, finish, grind, lie interaction, spin performance and then feel that best matches your preference and the way/style you use your wedges.
  14. Ok no worries. But now you guys need to buy what's left on this post!! ๐Ÿ™‚ LOL But I agree, I selfishly think that if I can just get out and play solo, I'd be a happy camper. I mostly play as a single outside of Men's club anyway.
  15. Was a beautiful day here in WA. Had to retake some pics of the clubs. I wish we had our courses open!!
  16. I believe they still do mod work on their brand of putters. but no more one offs of non-Gold's putters. I think creating jigs to hold the various putters in place for additional milling and mods got to be very costly and so they stopped doing it. I don't know of any replacement vendors who can do mods at his point. Refinishes I believe are still available through TSG Club Works.
  17. I haven't seen it in person yet either ... but looking at various pictures on the internet, I think these are one of the sharpest looking blades ever.

I currently have 4 so I'll list up my 4 that I have. Benock Blue Dragon II Went for a full fitting experience at Benock Tokyo in June 2017. Naturally, it works well with my stroke. Love the slant neck on this. Been my gamer for the greater part of the last 3 seasons. No plan to change that. Gold's Factory T102 Prototype Bought this slightly used from a member here back about 6 to 7 years ago. What I like about this is that it is one of Sasaya-san's early works and not a lot of them around. A pair of tungsten weights embedded in the face, heel and toe side, makes this traditional blade much more stable than in looks. I see better consistency with this putter than any other blade putters. Must be the improved MOI. Sound slot creates a subtle but noticeable "tink" sound at impact. Face is flat with no milling. Thought about adding milled face .. but I think this one should stay the way it is. Seven VS-R Sandvik Prototype I am told this was made to demonstrate the raw feel of Sandvik steel. Thus, it has no grooves or milling on the face at the moment. It's polished face is very bright and glare on sunny days! :) Plan to get the face milled in the future though the feel of Sandvik is very soft already. I put a Dogatti shaft in this one. The shaft helps wth additional roll. the shape is one the best blade shapes I've known with an extended bumper but with a base shape similar to what's commonly known as "Newport 2" Will need to take this out more. but probably best to use this under cloudy conditions. ๐Ÿ™‚ Last but not least, my most recent acquisition. I've been eyeing on this 2016 TaylorMade Ghost Monaco Tour Black Prototype (aka Justin Rose replica) putter ever since they made 10 of these and sold on their Vault site. I was not fortunate enough to get a hold of one when it just came out, so late last year I actually reached out to a couple of wrxers who previously had BST posts. Luckily one of the guys still had one in possession and "unused! " For a 304 Stainless Steel milled putter, it actually feels pretty nice. Quality is not that great but I love the shape. It probably has too much toe angle to match my stroke but who cares.... for now, it stays in a box.
  19. I don't think there are a lot of S15C MBs out on the market. Plenty of S20C and S25C MBs but somehow not much S15C.... My Seven x Shinagawa MBs are S15C but don't know of much other.
  20. Kyoei Prototype MBs and KK MB are very playable thanks to the nice sole grinds they have. Makes them very playable.
  21. Prices updated on all clubs to rock bottom prices ( not shafts since they were already rock bottom )! I won't be able to take any lower offers than this. So please don't ask. Let's get em moved!! If you want better pics. just ask.
  22. Diamana W and Fire Express BX70 are SOLD!!
  23. Oh and here's the Shinagawa with the MMT 75 S
  24. During this lock down, I've shuffled out my gamers out of my bag and ended up with building up the following sets. *** Primary Grandista RS-D 9 deg / Loop GK (backup PIng G410 LST / Ventus Black or HZRDUS Smoke Yellow) Grandista RS-F The III / Loop FW Six TS Grandista RS-F The V / Loop FW Seven Buchi SP-301 21.5 & 24.5 / Crazy STP Iron 85 Seven CB Prototype 5-PW / Crazy CBI-80 Ltd Cleveland RTX 4 Forged / NS Pro WV Tour Only 115 Benock Blue Dragon II *** Sub Grandista RS-D 9 deg / Loop GK Romaro Type R UT / Crazy STP Iron 85 Shinagawa Split Set / Mitsubishi Chemical MMT 75 Gold's Factory T102 *** For my primary set, I've gone to a DR, 3w, 5w setup with the woods. All with Loop shafts. Have not bagged a 5W for a long time so we'll see how it works. SP-301 Driving irons got lighter STP 85 shafts... The 5-PW irons are a new build for me with the Crazy graphite shafts. For my JDM Cleveland wedges, I've gone to slightly lighter shafts. But still steel. Putter is unchanged. For the Shinagawa MB half set, I've swapped out the shafts from AMT Tour White S200 to a very light MMT 75 S. These MMT shafts are so slim they look like fly fishing rods!! But they are reasonably stiff feeling. It will be interesting to see how they play. This half set in a Sunday bag will be nice and light to carry with these shafts... looking forward to taking them out on Summer eve 9 hole strolls.

Yup thatโ€™s the one. SP700 face but likely not Endo.
