I just got a new R7 TP with the best shaft ever (Accuflex Evolution beats out Tour/Prototype Fujikuras for me) But I need a little help with the weight configuration on it. I have messed around with the TLC site but no real job. I need a 32 gram configuration to give me my idea SW. I have it currently set to (from toe to heel) 8 - 6 10 - 10 but I find i hit that a little too low. What should I do to raise the flight? and also make it play a little more neutral? Thanks, Patrick
  2. My take - with Mizuno you get a great OEM iron with a lot of bells n whistles on. With Scratch you get a totally custom iron for you, and they will go out of their way to ensure its perfect. While you can get custom grinds on the Mizunos, you do not get the customer service. B - you know Ari will work around the clock to get you the best possible iron!
  3. Sonartec SS-03 I think this is just about the best looking head out there, it IS without doubt a better shaped head than the "cooler" BBD Type H Protos and I personally prefer it to the PT/970 look. Great performance, super long, perfect flight - all you need is to be a playa IMHO

Never got your PM - perhaps resend? E-mail is [email protected] Just to clarify, I am looking at RAC 2 iron ONSET

I am wondering if there is an Tour RAC CB 2 irons out there with ONSET, I would pay top dollar for a RAC CB 2 onset or ever a MB onset 2 iron. Let me know, Patrick
  6. These CBs have excited me more than any other iron in the last 3 years. They are exactly what one should look for in an iron, forgiveness, sleek looking, muscle-cavity and as with all Scratch irons - total customization & quality throughout. The only reason they are not in the bag is that I got a great deal on a set of Nike Blades off the Tour Van. However when Ari gets a 2 iron made, I will have the very first one :surprize:
  7. Hey Chris, I am definitely liking the look of the Balde and also the other anser styles, send ya an email about purchasing
  8. Great to have you back Ari - I really am waiting to hear about those 2005 CBs, pics and a review please!! Bernard - help me out!
  9. Also interested in the Newport TEI3, Pics to [email protected]

New "Nano" technology in shafts has actually gotten me very excited. The concept behind it is quite brilliant and although it is a buzz word I think there is actual merit to the idea. To quote a good friend of mine, one who also happens to be a very talented player & has tried pretty much every high end club/shaft combination out there: The Accuflex Evolution is the shaft that has caught my eye, it just so happens to match my specs pretty much exactly; Weight = 72 grams Torque = 2.8* Kick - Point = Mid (to high apparently) These specs are off a S-Flex, and are based on a swing speed range of 98 - 110. Their website is http://www.accuflexgolf.com and I am going to put this shaft in a R7 TP head ASAP :surprize: Any experiences out there? The NT Grafalloy and the ProtoPype also utilise this technology I believe

  13. Sweet looking PT - but I still think the 970 Silver is the way to go!

Darren Clarke has a totally custom set of MP-33s before he signed with TM. Different blade length & topline from what I remember
  16. Thanks for the review Bernard, they seem to be really sweet blades. Good to hear that the progessive weighting in the soles does not alter the flight too much (ie still penetrating) Hope to see pics in the near future! Patrick
  17. So what do you all think of Ms. Ballhaus? I actually think she is sweet looking, and its not just her impressive rack.

Here we go – new year, new irons Titleist 670 Tour Satin Blades 3 – Pw Played for the summer months, condition 8.5/10 Clubheads are perfect at address, but there are dings/”bag chatter” from the usual play Blueprinted with Rifle Project X 6.5s soft stepped once to frequency out to 6.3 (that is between DG S-300 and DG X-100) 5 iron loft is standard, lie is 64* (ie 2* upright) length is 38.5” (1/2” longer) Lamkin Crossline Sof-Cords Round Logo Down +1/32” ie one extra layer of tape These blades are very pure, but I fancy a change. The 670s are a high COG blade with the lowest offset on any retail blade. The satin finish makes these irons totally unique AND the blueprinting with super expensive shafts should impress the wife. I have already gotten a replacement set of irons, Nike Tour Miura Blades. Help me out: My price is $600 shipped to your door with bells and whistles on! Edit - my email is [email protected]
  21. the right elbow close to the ribs is the ticket, I have been using it for years as a way to keep things good!

I have hit Jeff's personal set of Scratch Classics. They are amazing! So pure and just the most amazin feel. I actually ended up with a set of Nike Blades, they are pretty much what I want in an iron & the grind happens to suit me perfectly! and these happen to be Tour and Miura!!!
  23. Chris - how did the X-365 turn out? I know you sold it but that doesnt mean you didnt like it! *cough ho cough* I have a R7 Tour on the way but if that doesnt work out I think I will look you up for a X-340 actually
