Ryoma D-1 Fairway Wood w/ Crazy FW80 La Bomba Graphics
I agree that the Ryoma FW is a definite distance club! The drivers perform well and feels good, but the fairway woods are something else. Forgiving, strong higher trajectory, low spin, roll roll go on green...lol I like how they sit on the ground. I feel like I can't miss a off the deck. If I had to get real picky, I would like a bit more workability.

Titleist AP1 Forged
Interesting, maybe the new owners wanted to spice up the Korean market! I'm going to ask my friend that works for Acushnet about this one.

Royal Collection -- no love?
RC is great, but they don't produce as much variety of models as the other brands, so people don't get hyped up over it. Personally I think they are great clubs. I don't have much experience with the irons, but their woods and utility clubs are great! They feel more metallic than soft, but produces a lower and powerful trajectory. Workability is good also.

What makes a ladies driver a ladies driver?
The ladies drivers are kind of like premium junior clubs. I know a bunch girls playing college and LPGA and most of them play standard mens clubs. The lighter and thinner design usually will work against faster swings.

Romaro at the 2013 Japan Golf Fair!
Also, throwing in a comment on the i-bird... It's a great in place of a driving iron. I liked the crisp feel and how I can control it and keep a lower trajectory on it. I liked it especially because I play in some windy conditions.

Driving Irons
I think the Romaro i-bird is a great club for the wind. It's compact and easy to control, especially trajectory. It has a firm and "crisp" feel. It feels very powerful at impact. And would recommend the 17* to pierce through the wind!

Romaro at the 2013 Japan Golf Fair!
Also, must add... I can't wait to try their new stuff! Excited to see difference in performance compared to the previous models.

Romaro at the 2013 Japan Golf Fair!
Yup, Epon's name always comes up when it comes to quality and performance, but after a long testing session. I personally liked the Romaro Pro Forged over the Epon Personals. I saw a big difference in workability and trajectory control. The Personals were great, but I was able to do way more on command with the Pro Forged! While Chris was pondering on which he thought was better, after a few side by side comparison it was clear to me that the Pro Forged was the winner! :) Ok. Epon lovers, feel free to fire away. LOL.

Callaway Japan Golf Fair Coverage
I wished there we're more Japan only clubs released by Callaway, but it was a very eye catching booth. Their new line of clubs are very clean looking and I'd say way more simple in design than Taylormade. They're not Japan only, but I wouldn't mind playing the new Xhot line of clubs! :) Look out for some new Japan only accessories in the shop soon!

Titleist- anything new?
Looked like Titleist Japan did not have new stuff. They were pushing their US models more. BUT... their new accessories are always nice! :) Look out for them in the shop!

Graphite Design DI-6 and MD-7 AWESOME but want lower trajectory
The BB is a great shaft. It's super low spinning and launches low, but not too low. I like how I get a nice soft feel along with a quick feedback in the hands.

Introducing the S-Yard BOLD Forged Wedge - a revolutionary design
The higher CG is exciting, but alot more to this! I love how precise and detailed each part of this wedge is. The overall appearance is beautiful and the calculations behind creating this was the most exciting part. Mr. Kobayashi has said this is his one of his best work yet! It is made to keep its true loft at impact, making it the most consistent wedge yet. Most wedges actually tend to increase in loft a bit at impact. This makes the ball lose some friction which decreases spin and the fact that it opens a bit gives it some inconsistencies. This wedge is said to prevent those things!

Syard Iron - what is this?
Thats the GT type S iron. It's been out for a while now. It was the Athlete model of their GT Line made with less offset and forged s20c.

TourStage 2013 - Japan Golf Fair
The new irons are veeery solid looking. Looked great at address and feels nice and soft while still having that instant feedback to the hands. I love the blade type irons, but the MC model was impressive too, nice and compact at address and I didn't mid the small offset either.

TourStage 2013 - Japan Golf Fair
It's a new insert they added. It's called a Dual Solid Insert. It is a firm feeling synthetic rubber material made in 2 pieces. The outer layer is a bit softer with the front spin promoting grooves and the inner layer is a very firm piece. It produces a nice solid feedback without it feeling too rubbery like alot of synthetic material inserts.

Introducing the S-Yard BOLD Forged Wedge - a revolutionary design
This wedge is definitely interesting. I can't wait to test it out! Talking to Mr. Kobayashi was a great honor. He is so passionate about his designs and I'm sure he has alot more interesting designs up his sleeve. Also, saw a glimpse of some newer designs for the future while there! :) I don't think I've seen a wedge that had this much technology and calculations put into it. I'm more excited about this wedge this year than the drivers coming out!

Battle for the Bag. Decision 2013: Forged Iron Shootout (New Pics 2/15)
Good choice! I love how the OnOff's feel and the lower trajectory that the 2013 model produces is just icing on the cake! Their fairway woods and drivers (Type S) worked very well for me as well. Both produced a slightly lower trajectory than the previous year models. :)

XXIO / SRIXON 2013 Japan Golf Fair Thread
We knew about these already, but man... always good to look at them. I especially like the very clean looks of the Srixon!

Japan Golf Fair 2013 Day 2
There were so many impressive stuff... I muscle backs were definitely in and glad to catch a glimpse of the Maxima! More to come... Lots more! :)

Fullmiere
I love this stuff. Seems to be a trend with similar gadgets in the golf industry. This one is very simple to use, which I like. I've seen some gadgets that require a scientist to come with the box.

Waccine Component Shafts - Another High End Boutique Boron Shaft Company
This is a shaft I've been eyeing too. Hope to get them in the shop after a closer look at the Golf Fair. :) Def might be my next gamer if it does what it claims.

fourteen hi610 driving iron 4
I love the compact DI's. I'm currently gaming up to a 3 iron, but considering adding some to the mix. Fourteen is good but I looove how the Srixons look. I like compact heads that play closer to irons than woods. But the Fourteens with a Modus sounds good... lower trajectory.. me like..:)

The "Crazy Crack"
Sound very possible that the tighter glass particles will make a sound, especially with an aggressive transition where there is so much energy travelling through the shaft. This is interesting, I'm going to have to hit some Crazy shafts and really listen closely for the "crack" myself.
