  1. I think the oval flows with the overall shape better.
  2. I agree...and very sadly I already made that mistake. At least I told their new owner that I wanted first rights if he sells them so there's a chance I'll get them back. :(
  3. For me it's love AND hate. There are so many wedges that spank these in feel and looks. Every time I play them I hope they don't perform so I can sell them...but every time I can't argue with their results.
  4. No doubt about it Stew, the Bolds just work. I'm not a fan of the feel or the high bounce but I'll be damned if they aren't deadly accurate and very consistent. I've put a few different wedges in my bag and every time I come back to the Bold's rotation I'm stupefied as to why/how they work for me the way they do.
  5. Good info! I have my 435 stuffed with cotton and it's so much better. I'd recommend hot melt or filling to anyone with a 435!
  6. Spin is FAR more dependent on your swing than the wedge so don't pass up a good buy just because they're used!
  7. I may be biased because Tom is my close friend and golfing partner, but his work is second to none. Look at my avatar or past posts for an example of his work.
  8. Holy crap! Makes me thankful I only buy my JDM from TSG or trusted members!
  9. I don't care what "average player" means...this has my attention! I love the feeling of (over)loading a shaft that is a bit weak for my ss. Getting the timing right and feeling a explode at impact is special and worth measurable distance gains.
  10. Thanks for the comparo! I remember the AF-Tours being big for a blade...almost too big for my liking. By the pictures the MB-5005 looks to be about the same size, is this correct? Any chance you could put a few pics up comparing the 5005 and 302's?
  11. Crazy and TSG customer service are above and beyond all else when it comes to warranty and/or replacements. Contact TSG with the details and hope for the best.
  12. The durability of the finish depends on where you play. In AZ the finish on my copper 302's shows premature wear due to the sand content in our soil.
  13. I made my way to that page but couldn't read the print that accompanied the pictures. Is the dark finish a raw like the Yururis or a coating?
  14. I'd like to have someone point out the flaws in these so we know what to look for.
  15. What are the finishes available under this program and is there an upcharge? (I can't translate the link)
  16. What intrigues me with these is that they've gone the opposite way of two if my favorite modified blades...the TM RAC MBs and Cobra S3 Pros. Both of those carve out pockets on the heel/ toe sides of the muscle. Those are two of my all time favorite irons and I'm curious as to how these MG's would compare. And I'm always a fan of heavier head weights!
  17. While I enjoy Miura, especially their baby blades, they've rarely given me that "I really wanna try these" feeling. Until now anyways. I REALLY want to hit these!
  18. I've been putting pulled cotton in my 435's for a while. I love the "thud" sound it makes now over just about anything. And I used to think the 435 was the second worst sounding head behind the TM RBZ.
  19. This looks good...although the facelift that both the 2014 E and S class sedans received certainly didn't need much help. The generic Japanese influenced styling was incredibly out of place on the first gen W212 and W222.
  20. Pretty close to the top of my list...
  21. Nice! Looking forward to tomorrow's review of the mb...
  22. It's ironic that you posted this today as I've been on the Honma page in the store all day. I've had an actual playing interest in Honma since they released their forged line last year and am really wanting to try their Tour World or even their 30th Anniversary blades.
  23. Looks like uncut gram weight on these hickory shafts average 115g but they can range from 90-145 due to wood density. Any Idea on the weight for the stock shaft in the Zen?
