My custom marpat digital stealth camo Jbeam 425cc
If that was a venomous snake, I'd be dead! I wish I would have gone over to his shop to see this before he shipped it out. I know first hand that 90% of the detail, metal flake, and true artistry are lost when posting pics of his work online, so this must be quite fantastic in person! I also know you can't stop at just one...so what kind of ideas do you have for the next one?

PRICE DROP Garage Sale - Kamui Driver, Epon, OnOff
How are these Kamuiworks Ray drivers not selling!?? This head is the best all around driver I've tried! If I wasn't keeping a USGA handicap for tournament purposes mine would never leave my bag!

j beam 425 vs j beam 435
The 435 is the pinnacle of performance in my book and everything else can only hope to be compared. There are some more forgiving drivers but the 435 is still one of the best for a decent ball striker. Workability is high and distance is second to none. If you're used to JDM drivers the 435 will seem harsh at first, with a hard feeling face and a loud metallic sound. Add hot melt or filler inside the head and the feel and sound become quite nice. Even if you don't address the feel/sound shortcomings, within a month all will be forgiven due to it's performance! The 425 is ever so slightly more compact which dictates that it might be a tad less forgiving...but for a good ball striker that's a moot point. I actually prefer the size to the 435, and especially to the monsters you see in everyone else's bag. Distance can only hope to be compared to the 435 and I think it comes very very close. Feel and sound are where I was surprised. The 425 brings me back to what I expect out of typical JDM drivers. Sorry, no experience with the Diamana X.

Current lowest spinning shaft in golf
I haven't tried as many as most here but I just put a Crazy TJ-80 8.2 in my 435 and holy cow is it low spin. I rarely get on a launch monitor but I know what's going on when I see a ball that goes straight out and doesn't rise at all! It shoots lasers that don't move up or sideways! I was playing in 20mph winds today and it didn't matter what direction the wind was going, my ball just went dead straight.

Which crazy driver 435 or 435II
Put the lightest weights in then make up the difference by putting cotton inside the head. Feel and sound are dramatically improved! ;)

most anti-left driver shaft?
I'm playing F3 sw right now. I'm not having any real problem with the head snapping over (unless it's the occasional bad swing), I just wouldn't mind having a second driver with a fade bias.
-
most anti-left driver shaft?
It's going in my 435 so we'll see. The Waccine and TRP-X have my interest as well.

most anti-left driver shaft?
Ok, I have a TJ-80 8.2 waiting to go in. I recently hit a TJ-46 8.1 and was quite impressed. Anyone have experience with both that can compare? Btw, I tried to look up the specs in the TSG store but neither shaft is listed any more...

snapped crazy
I was going to say that Crazy has proven to be the best in the industry when it comes to taking care of their customers but after a dozen pulls you can't expect any shaft to hold up.

wedge rumblings ............
I was hoping the gekkus would flow a bit better with the flatbacks. The Flatback pw is perfect and I would kill to have a gw/sw that looked like that bad boy!!!

wedge rumblings ............
I might have to consider this!

wedge rumblings ............
Hey Pete, I agree 61 is unusual. What's more unusual is to find out someone else still plays their ELK because that's the 61* I was talking about! I've tried many times and spent a lot of money to replace it and nothing comes close. My grooves are wasted and the sole is so worn that the name is almost completely worn off...but it still out performs everything! It's the only non JDM club in my bag and it sticks out like a sore thumb! I even found another ELK but it didn't feel the same so it's just sitting in my house. Damn that wedge!
-
wedge rumblings ............
If you count the pw, my bag is a 4 wedge set-up. However, I've recently admitted to myself that I truly only "play" one wedge...my 61*. If I could get a club maker to build a set with a gap and sand wedge (50/54) that are a true continuation of my irons I'd be the happiest of campers. I pretty much play those clubs like I do all my scoring irons (8, 9, pw). It's only my 61 that I get creative with. Any shot from 75yds in and it gets the call...high shots, pitches, flop shots, bump & runs, bunker shots...you name it if it's within 75yds. I realize that set up would make for a pretty boring bag to look at but I also think it would simplify my game and make my scoring game more consistent.

Kamui VS Kamui - Nitro VS Air
The Kamui Works Ray is the softest, best feeling driver I've used to date. The forged face yeilds a sound that is more of a smash compared to the loud metalic sound of my Jbeam/Crazy drivers and it sounds a little softer than my Ryoma V-Spec. It's quite forgiving and seems a bit more workable than the Ryoma or Crazy. It also sets up more nuetral than any other driver I've tried. To this day I cannot figure out why the Kamui Works drivers don't have a larger following here. I've seen a few go unnoticed in the BST section and even offered mine for a good price with little interest (I can't play non-conforming now that I'm keeping a handicap).

Buchi's New Blade for 2014
The TM RAC MB's and Cobra S3 Pros both had cut outs on the heal and toe and were two of the best feeling irons I've played. Toe shots were not punished any more than any other iron. While the TM's just about had the smallest sweet spot of any modern iron, the Cobras were probably the most forgiving compact blade I've ever played. These have me quite interested!

Sold - Thanks TSG
Holy cow, if I didn't have one I'd pay that price for the head alone...so for me it would be like getting the shaft for free! GLWS

TRPX Driver : comparing numbers
Hey! Was that a dig at me?!!? :)

Epon SUS316 irons?
I think blades feel more "pure" when struck perfectly because there's more mass right behind the ball at impact compared to a perimeter weighted iron...at least that makes sense to me.
-
Epon SUS316 irons?
Can you explain your thoughts on this a little more as I was thinking it's the exact opposite. The 302 has a slight muscle just behind the sweet spot while the 316 has the thinner top line and less offset that "players" prefer.

The Long 47"ers. Too Long?
That's a big part of why I play a longer shaft and softer flex that my swing speed dictates. It helps keep my tempo in check so I can't over swing if I want results.

My latest Hawaiian addition!
No change in feel or sound. The early drivers weighed in at +1ish gram so I'd imagine the fw's are even less. On the very first drivers they were more stealth with the ghosted prints like the 3w and ute and I didn't notice it at all during address. The above driver was the first with a dramatic paint job and after the 3rd or 4th swing I never noticed it again. I hit a few with the 5w last night and once at address the graphics don't even register.
