i'm constantly being asked what the script on the heads of my yururis states and i feel like an idiot when i can't answer questions about my favorite irons. also, i seem to recall these were kyoei forged but i can't find any info to confirm this either. can anyone shed some light for me.

totally agree. i orginally thought the zen would be to pretty to game...but the feel, distance control, weight...everything is sooo just right that it immediately went in my bag. i haven't touched my yamada since and actually thought about selling it yesterday!!!

looking forward to this. the 1999's were the first golf clubs i ever "wanted"...but having just graduated college i couldn't afford a bucket of range balls not to mention a set of irons.

i got to play with one this weekend on a ust frequency filter shaft and i was quite impressed. the small head fits my eye and stroke really well and the feel is up there with the best of the best. you're gonna like it...if he'll sell it to you that is. lol

i know prices may have changed but i got my hanwei for $2.99 per 4oz bottle (bought 5 bottles) and shipping was free from knifecenter.

i've been using even cheaper sword oil (hanwei i think) from amazon on my raw yururis and it works perfectly. just can't seem to justify the price of the good smelling stuff because getting caught carressing and talking to my golf clubs is weird enough, let alone smelling them.

i always know where the ball has come of the face by the sound...even though i've never gamed a putter with a sound slot. i think the idea is a good one for those in need of a little more audible feedback.

i think it's a great combo. the c-tapers are the best shaft i've played so far...so why not put them in premium heads! glws!!!

i've not heard a single bad word about the sp blues, actually just the opposite, everyone raves anout their feel. so it dumbfounds me as to why i don't get along with them. i hit them in two sets of irons and just can't get the feel out of them everyone talks about, even after soft stepping. so frustrating!!!
