  1. tae, before your next garage sale, i need you to build then sell the baby brother (5w) to the ts 3w you sold me!
  2. i thought the yururis were pretty scary when i first got them. even my club builder was scared and didn't think they were playable! i've been playing blades for a while but these are more compact than anything other than baby blades and their leading edge is sharper than anything else on the planet. i was more scared after my first range session but once i quit worrying about them i found them to be the best iron i've played. they forced me to improve my ball striking and my handicap shows the improvements! i've tried a few top irons since but nothing has been able to get these out of my bag! i will say that the wedges may not be a fair test for the irons. i much prefer the shape of the irons and wish they made at least a gap wedge that matched the flatbacks. although the wedges are the best i've played, i still prefer the feel of the irons better.
  3. i don't know that objectively they're any more special than other boutique brands but subjectively they are to me. the utilitarian look to the raw flatbacks is unmatched and the solid feel is better than any epon, miura, or yonex i've played. as far as their history goes, i only know what i've heard around here so another member with a more intimate knowledge could better answer that question.
  4. if you're already back weighting couldn't you simply adjust the amount of weight to achieve any swing weight you want?
  5. did you miss this listing from last night?
  6. damnit...why are people still using flash!? guess i'll have to wait until i get home to view this...
  7. i did see it and to be honest, there probably isn't a blade design that hogan hasn't come up with over the years...
  8. i play 1-2* flat from most standard specs so these look pretty good. and the loft (if consistent throughout the set) is right between strong/modern and traditional lofts. did we get a price point yet?
  9. any specs (lie/loft) on the tour models?
  10. i'm ready if he is. pm me your paypal address if it's a go and i'll make payment asap.
  11. i'm totally set with my tourstage 3w otherwise i would.
  12. interested in the 5w so please let me know if you'd sell it separately.
  13. what was the finished length of the max in your 909?
  14. +1! ...and how dies it compare to the proto?
  15. it was a landslide...until the election fraud kicked in!
  16. it seems ducati has lost a bit of it's itlalian edge but this is still a beautiful bike!
  17. did you not follow the election?
  18. i'll be selling my adams tour pnt2 hybrid on a roddio pentacross and it's 16*. besides the fact that i just hit fairway metals better, i actually hit this thing too far for the gap i need (it goes 235-240yds). out of all the hybrids i tried, this one was the best. there's a reason it found a spot in my jdm bag!
  19. my bad...i just realized you stated "xv", not "x". if the loft was a tad stronger i'd never let it go. anyways, price is negotiable if you're still interested. ;)
  20. i'd really love to try it but i'm worried 17* may be too strong. i need to fill a gap between 220-230yds. how does the jbeam feel... any better than the driver? the 435 is the longest driver i've hit but the feel is lacking unless i completely go after it on every swing.
  21. i still have one for sale... ;)
  22. i can work the ball left or right and even hit this 12.5* 3w higher than should be possible when i want to. very impressed! what 18* 5w would you recommend?
  23. i finally found a 3w that i enjoy hitting as much as my old ping maple 3w. it's the tourstage type t titanium. at 12.5* it's so easy to hit off the deck and every bit as long as many drivers. i've come to absolutely hate hybrids and need to find a 5w that is as much fun as the tourstage. suggestions welcomed!
  24. i play a couple of courses that there is absolutely no room to miss so i could see the purpose for an "insurance" driver. i'm just not sure i'd want to dedicate a driver for 3-4 rounds per year.
