  1. me likes. tell me there will be a stand bag as well with 14-way divider as well (a la Ogio Gromit)...that would be money!
  2. so, the ones labelled prototype are 2004 or 2009?

    Wow, cheap!! GLWS Ash
  4. sorry bud, know that awful feeling. cracked a Nakashima driver head once on the course and the sound was distinctly horrible! TRPX is a great head, like it more than the 535 but really tempted to try that 435 blackout.
  5. I agree with both of you, super classic, but this finish makes it really stand out. I think I want a Matsumoto at some point...can either of you describe how it might feel compared to say a stock Yamada or even a stock i33?
  6. Couldn't agree more, they all look great. I like what he's done w/ the milling and Circle T weights on some of those Scotty's, makes them look unique and more desirable, IMO, than a stock Circle T putter. The i33 is super classy and clean, congrats if it's one of our guy's here on the forums! I think I may get Gold's Factory written in cursive as well, awesome typography!
  7. good advice, thx haha :)
  8. Birds of a feather, right? golf is an outlet we all use for all the other important hats we wear in life. whatever it is about the game, the equipment we use/lust for, or the camaraderie we share, it's most important influence in our life is that it brings us fun and acts as a pressure release valve where we can focus on ourselves, if even just for a little bit. I honestly would love to lower my scores but I wouldn't be happy playing some rag tag old set and spent my money on lessons. I love golf, and I think it's safe to say I love the gear that goes along with it (esp JDM;) just as much...
  9. give her a scale of relativity she can relate to better...you're getting the best and most custom shaft money can buy, whereas that only buys a medium grade LV purse, so, you're getting a steal!! ;)
  10. that's awesome, can't wait to see the pics, do share when you get them back!

Ian, what's your experience with that shaft and how would you describe its profile?
  12. S, how's the sound of both?
  13. I think I'd rather take a 2012 Porsche GT3 4.0 RS in manual...now if I could only pony up the $450k it'll take to pry one away from one of those lucky owners!
  14. Paddle shifters are fun for a bit, and the throaty automatic blip of the throttle to rev match adds some sensory cues, but nothing like the feel and full control of a manual clutch and blipping the throttle yourself, IMO.
  15. YES! Take this over the Merc, right Chris? On a related note, anyone slightly saddened by the fact that you can't get many of these super cars in a standard manual transmission anymore? I mean I get it, no way the avg human can shift as fast as a dual clutch operated by a computer, but if I owned one of these bad boys, I probably wouldn't be spending that much time on the track, and more so driving through canyons and mountain roads where having a manual clutch and transmission is 100% more fun! Launch control is pretty crazy and novel, but dumping the clutch at high rpm for launch is so much more engaging!
  16. looks sexy
  17. this is awesome, and really happy about that response time. Count me in for one for sure!!Chris, Barbara Eden has you beat in the looks department by a mile, but you're no slouch at this genie in a bottle thing! ;) R, quick, make another wish!!!
  18. Did you say you needed a guinea pig?? ;)
  19. +2 on that!!

very interesting indeed...which quadra did you go with? I'm having some consistency issues with the vizard as well but could see if that wasn't an issue, this DI would be nearly impossible not to use all the time
  21. holy friggin smokes...got yourself some beauts there ash, keep us all posted on wear, thx!
  22. The classic look of the Crazy's have it for me, but the Buchi isn't far behind. Never tried Buchi but I've got a secret crush on those, so they may find their way to my stable if one of you good gentlemen would let yours go ;) I agree with you S, the Srixon's definitely have some amazing lines, and I've been tempted a few times to pull the trigger, but waiting for someone to give their feedback on these. Anyone know how they feel compared to some of the others on this list? Play long or short (strong lofts per chance)? Seems to be a lot of new blade offerings that all look pretty tasty, so looks like this thread might live a long and fruitful life for us all :)
  23. great off the tee, perfect for me. off the deck is good too if it's in the short stuff but because of its size and square face, I can't get great contact if it's in that first cut or longer (for me that is)
