  1. well, how do they feel and spin??
  2. haha actually, i know what i want to trade for...those masda blades of yours. ok fine, i'll take some miuraism instead ;) thanks bud, just wish i could find some TSG'ers to take these, instead of having to go to the "other" site... *guuulp* ....and deal w/ tire kicking low balling madness! Did I mention I'm open to reasonable offers, guys???
  3. I recently traded for one of these bad boys, and at first I thought it wasn't up to the hype, but boy was I wrong. Dialed it in over a range session or two and man, this thing is a canon! I get a higher launch than my TRPX | Diamana X 70s combo but its got more carry and more roll...using range rocks no less! Can't wait to see the results on the course w/ a real ball. Currently it's shafted w/ a Quadra Max WBQ 65s and while I don't usually venture into that shaft weight, its seemingly good so far, and has a nice pronounced kick that I'm liking. Had this same shaft in x flex in a previous driver and that was anti-left which I wasn't too thrilled about, but this flex is pretty good as I can draw it. So far though, I have seen mainly long straight high flying balls rocket off the face (there's something about the laser milling that provides good results). Sound is like how you describe it, Chuck, very appealing to the ears on center strikes and otherwise a little more metallic sounding, but nothing displeasing. I can see a 7D pairing in the future when I'm ready to take the full plunge and not look back! That would require me to stop tinkering with other drivers though, and so far, that has proven to be an unsuccessful endeavor ;)
  4. Thanks Hutch, just gotta find them new homes...what's your saying?? Fill yer boots, gents!! ;)
  5. haha its not cold enough here in Cali to do the test adequately they were never in the bag long enough to get replaced, but gaming Seven wedges now but switching between those and Suda's throughout the season me thinks
  6. Circling back on this for a price drop and adding new items. I'm going to let the flood of pics and the brief descriptions of the new stuff do the talking, but don't hesitate to PM me w/ additional questions and reasonable offers. BB2 is now $850 Please guys, help me find new homes for these beauts, it's a shame they are logging so much storage time ;)
  7. Before we hit mid-season, I really need to make a concerted effort to stop the hoarding and let go of some of the great gear that just doesn't get the play. Will also be posting some other niceties in USDM BST as well, so go check it out if you're so inclined. Prices include shipping in ConUS, Int'l please PM for shipping quote...thanks guys. Now onto the goods.... 1. Modart 16* FW - $OLD 9+/10 condition - don't let the IP finish fool you as anything will leave a mark, but I assure you the slight markings on the face are very light as this got little to no game time; light markings on sole that are normal, everything else is perfect Diamana B series shaft in X flex - plays to 43" grip is brand new fancy ferrule comes with headcover 2. SYard Bold limited nickel satin wedges 52*/58* - $300 solid 9/10 condition - slight markings on the face are not deep at all and these grooves have yet to be put through the paces as they were only lightly gamed over 27 holes standard L/L/L DG S200 Tour shafts white VDR grips in very good condition fancy ferrules
  8. loving that double milled site line! was that on the original or added? i agree, this finish is superb, and making a case for that next gen pz milling to be tried next! congrats to the lucky owner ;)
  9. I cannot deny this affliction...Lord have mercy on my pocket book, errrr....I mean soul... seriously tho, I'm a sucker for amazing finishes and classic shapes, and I have a feeling these are great performers too. might be time for a fire sale...
  10. these are jaw-droppingly gorgeous, seriously... want.... need??? :-/
  11. Yes, what is the real difference between using a 8 iron shaft cut to length in your fav steel shaft (modus 125/130, monaco, etc...), and using one of these "wedge" shafts? From my observation, I've had better results w/ full swings when using the regular steel shaft than the wedge shafts but around the green, its the opposite, and the wedge shafts seem to suit better for touch play. what are other's experiences?
  12. so, am I hearing you say, get the srixon over the 909?? lol
  13. that's awesome, Chris! love it when builds get spot on performance you expect from the technology, but me thinks the tinker in you will either break up perfectly good builds or have a surplus of 435 black/maxima st heads haha
  14. sweet colors hutch, and good price, shouldn't last long GLWS
  15. stew, i think these would be terrific in a set of idbl's. i'm playing an S flex set in p2's and while i haven't had a ton of course or even range time with them, they proven to be a great combo early on -- soft dense-isn heads make these an addicting feel! what i like about them the most is the nice high arc (not too high tho), straight but workable ball flight, soft landing and predictable roll-out on greens....with a good set of heads, these could be very formidable pin seekers.
  16. Do each of these designs have certain characteristic differences? I'm sure a full write up is yet to come, so may be jumping the gun ;)
  17. needmoregolf replied to ThrillaInManila's post in a topic in Want To Buy
someone's got matching wedges for their rainbow a$$-shooting unicorns!! congrats ;)
  18. sounds like a ton of fun, and you def got your $$ worth on the course! did you end up with some new fav's after hitting all that gear over the course of only a few days?
  19. thanks for the review, S, keen to your description of it being a weighty muscle, as those types seem to be to my liking as well. how would you compare to tourstage 909, since we all know you're a big tourstage guy as well? how do they compare to yururi flatbacks?
  20. great start, can't wait to see the rest! will they all be the same material from the same forging house?
  21. I think that may be because of its shallow hosel depth and a more active tip no matter what your shaft selection.
  22. I've always wondered the same, and how is it different than using tip weights?
  23. such a great analogy stew, I was pretty wrapped up in this one lol you should consider writing a fifty shades of grey for men/golfers lmao
  24. I guarantee the 435 black will be massively long with a 7D, espnif you get custom fitted for it, that head is seriously no joke... it's a canon
