  1. have to agree with the f3 for fairway, it goes straight as an arrow shafted with diamana W series
  2. my most recent experiment is a syard t.388 playing short at just shy of 44" with a stinger. this thing is dead straight for me and surprisingly impressive on distance even with the shorter length. I am in more control on every hole I use it and have found my fairways hit % up over the last 2 Rounds. the head itself is hot off the face and for sure forgiving, but may not be ryoma-forgiving
  3. totally makes sense, thank you. sound and feel much different as well? my ryoma f3 is long so love that, and feel is pretty nice with the sound being in the lower register which I prefer over the higher pitch tingy sound some FW woods have.
  4. dkats, thanks for posting comparo pics. mind posting a comparison pics of the face to see how much shallower it is? thanks!
  5. pretty damn mean. matte black is being far overdone these days IMO, but looks pretty good on this bad boy
  6. as big as say ryoma f2/3?
  7. if it don't work out, have your builder bore out the middle a bit and use it for a ramen spoon ;)
  8. holy schnikeys....for the masochist in all of us, eh?? have you tried chris, and if so, did it help with ball striking in general for your irons game?
  9. holy smokes K, pretty awesome combo here, and sweet grips to boot! GLWS
  10. Crazy's are sold!
  11. ** update on finish ** It's been about 6 months of gaming, and while it hasn't been weekly, I've gotten a fair number of rounds with my Lucky Money since we've not had too much unplayable conditions this winter in Cali. The black boron has held up nicely, even with all the early morning golf I play when its moist and all the debris and sand routinely gets stuck to the sole, so that means quite a few wipes with the towel throughout these last 6 months. I mainly notice some light scratching and brush marks, which is normal, but no color loss or patchiness. I think because black boron is more of a plating, it stands up as one of the best dark finishes, in case anyone was on the fence about it. Some pics:
  12. half the world is under snow and Tahoe can't even get a few inches so my kiddies can go sledding?! lol
  13. thanks, seems I need it? Kinda baffled why these are still here...soft market? pricing? someone shoot me a reasonable offer and let me know all is right in the JDM world, these things are and will always be awesome sticks!
  14. hahaha hilarious..."girlfriend" lol
  15. how do these differ from the suda?
  16. So, if your swing technique improves over a season from some good 'ol hard work (and potentially some instruction), does the "satisfaction guarantee" apply in this case? Ultimately, one of the big reasons we buy new gear is the hopes of better performance, but at the same time, many of us are also trying to improve form and increase strength/flexibility, so the swing can change pretty drastically from those factors - how can this type of change be addressed when going 7D?
  17. no offers anyone? surely these must interest someone, such sweet sticks
  18. I want another set of ora in stiff!! make it happen mate ;)
  19. yes, I agree, it's as important as the individual who's spending their hard-earned coin wants it to be. doesn't necessarily make the club any better or worse, but whatever makes someone feel comfy unloading the wallet and more importantly, standing over the ball. we all know this game is 90% mental, so to each their own. just my 2 cents...
  20. staring contest champ for sure right there, sheesh
  21. I have black boron on my seven/gold's putter. I play a lot of morning golf which means moisture and seemingly more debris stuck to sole every time I lift my putter from the ground and things are holding up well after at least 6 months of use. I can pm some pics of you're interested, just lemme know.
  22. I like their overall styling for everything, so would be interesting if they produced some accessories to compliment the line? divot tools, balls markers, alignment sticks, etc... with blast art, IP finishes and sweet raw materials. did I mention keeping it affordable too?? lol
  23. SM490A!?? I've become a total addict, wanting to try more stuff with this material. Let me know if you source one, Nob, and how it ends up working for you. If no good, sign me up on the wait list ;)
  24. sign me up for the support group as well...been having a bit of a yamada binge lately
