DUE YOU PAY TAXES WHEN PRODUCT ARIVES IN USA
TourSpecGolfer replied to FERMIN's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The vast majority of U.S buyers dont pay a cent on duties when ordering from us. With Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, UK, and other countries its almost certain you will. We do offer a lower insurance or invoice at your request. I think your looking at the right clubs, I dont know what MPS is but if your a good striker both will do you fine. -
if its available we can get it for you even if its not in the pro shop.

Im sorry i was looking at import gear because this is in the import category. nope tourstage doesnt have another blade coming. the XCB2 is going strong for tour pros still.
-
I wouldnt pay to much attention to that, OEMs design clubs that are for both. They do this because they understand there are many types of swings out there. whats full of is when people say Japanese golf grinds are designed for manicured courses and harder turff, these guys dont understand that Tokyo, vs Hokkaido, vs Okinawa varies just as much as it does in the U.S. Every land has got its soft and hard lie's.

EPON: The Best Forged Steel ENDO has Ever Produced!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The Type X has lighter heads than the Type J or PRO II, I wish you gave me exact specs to follow as I could have ordered them heavy for you. Thats they glory of ENDO as the owner of EPON. The higher ball flight i contribute to the NS950, with 1150's the flight is on par with other sets i have tried. -
IMO there isnt anything better than the type J in regards to feel and performance IF you are a good striker. Feels like an MB and performs like a players CB. Best Irons I have ever experienced to date. Im not changing anytime soon. The Type X and Pro II dont feel as good as the type J due to the undercut, I would compare the Type X to the TS-202's as far as feel and performance with their long irons being just a tad easier to hit. If you are a good striker and like great feel nothing beats these, if i had to keep only one epon product in the bag it would be the type J's over the 460 driver.

Hey no problem, its a subject that needs our reflection and I dont think its possible to forget even if we try. I still remember where I was that day and how I found out. I woke up to a phone call from my mother telling me we are at war and to turn on the tv, watching the towers go down in real time was strange almost like a movie and i kept thinking this cant be for real, I had to go to work that day and remember no customers or phone calls, our boss let us watch the news. It was very quiet and many of us just didnt know how to react or what to think. If others would like to share where they were or how they found out please do so.

Drivers are maxed out, look for feel. Distance depends on how well the head, shaft, and specs suite your needs. Different tests will have different results 10% should be robotic 90% should be actual players used for testing. The goal is to fine tune your specs until you know what will provide your swing with max distance in the conditions you play.

I was never a fan of GD until the W series, I didnt care for the M series and I love the PT series. For me and my swing it works better than the Axiv's I have tested. My prob with axivs is i was getting to little spin, other than that it was great. With the PT-6 i was getting a mid trajectory with great feel and found the fairway more so than anyother shaft. Actually right now im testing DREV's and Mach Line shafts and liking it very much. Keep in mind that its all quite personal but here is how i rank my favorite shafts: 1. PT series by Graphite Design 2. DREV Mach Line 7080 3. DREV ICN Tour 4. Mamiya Axiv V-Spec 7068 All high quality shafts that will vary in play in different hands.

Ok im considering purchasing the lease for an SST pureing machine. I contacted several Japanese manufactures of shafts and they said it is not neccesary for most high end brands. The guys at SST are giving me results that are off the charts but dont have supporting data with the sorts of exotic shafts we sell here at TSG. Of course a cheap shaft like aldila or YS will have a ton of flaws in manufacturing and would benifit from an SST pure. My good friends who do club work tell me that there is a hundred dollar machine that can do the same job just without the fancy printout and that paying big bucks for this machine isnt worth my time as i only sell high quality shafts, most of them hand made in Japan. from my experience an SST pured shaft seems stiffer than one non pured, and IMO of course a stiffer shaft will find you the fairway more often than a softer shaft. Im looking for facts, opinions, and any supporting data to aid me in my decision. Thanks for your help guys!

High launching shaft for driver...please help
TourSpecGolfer replied to Ace036's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Tour AD W60 would help lift the ball, also the Diamana red. If you need a low kick point try an axiv. -
Guage Design Japan Prototype Putter M2CAL
TourSpecGolfer replied to jcigars's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Yup very good putter, the seller must have got it from me as only TSG had the prototypes. 360G head weight and a very nice insert, only drawback is that you must hit it on the insert near the center to be rewarded by its great feel. -
Oh yeah forgot about that one. She is an awesome club as well, had her in my bag for a very long time.

EPON: The Best Forged Steel ENDO has Ever Produced!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Hey Wes, I just had a convo with Rusty, nice guy he is. Thanks for setting us up. The HR model EPON driver has a higher pitch and they are going to discontinue it due to the face getting scratched up easier than the conforming version. -
I wish we could, they dont offer that one yet. When they do I will be the first to add it to our pro shop.

I have two favorites. The GFT feels and performs the best IMO, its made of steel with a 455 miraged face my only problem with it is it was too hot, it went to far and almost matched my 4 wood. 20* vs another brand 20* the GFT flys more than 15 yards further for me. I am now using the X-UT, its very good with its open face and helps me stay off the left side which is a prob i have with many UT clubs. its feel is very pure but its not as forgiving as the GFT. Im not big on hybrids so i may not be the best person to answer this.

Guys if you take a look in the pro shop we have just added 3 more models to that listing. Introducing ULTRA MAN 7!
