  1. Accra line isnt anything like the Axiv IMO, same parent company but in design, feel and performance they seem a bit more boardy and tip stiff with a less aggresive kick.
  2. Only the R7 Forged limited is forged.
  3. The Japanese OEMs have some new way to make conforming drivers perform better than non conforming, like the PRGR T3 which has a lower C.O.R than most conforming has an average 2 yard increase over non conforming. This was done with even a normal depth positioned CG as well.
  4. For me there wasnt, i liked the PRO II better as it felt a tad softer due to the smaller undercut area. it also had a bit less offset while still having a meaty sole. very very good iron. if it wasnt the type Js in my bag i would have the PRO II, im a fairly good striker so all 3 sets performed very well.
  5. Beres doesnt want their product sold on ebay brand new so they contacted ebay to have it pulled. if you want the set it is 999.00 shipped. Thanks, Chris
  6. The R7 and R7 TP are not limited and available in Oct. The R7 Forged is limited edition.
  7. And lets not forget the R7 Forged Limited Edition
  8. Mack, this GT-R proto is 99% the same car we will see spring 2008. all the other concepts based on the 350Z and G35 were just to catch buzz leading up to the event where they released this car to the public view in tokyo. 1200lbs less not total body weight, and thats if its chamfered by the guys at Opera in Yokohama. They even rebuild sheet metal parts with Titanium for even more weight savings. One thing though Opera's Yasuyoshi Yamamoto will not modify the motor after doing this process. Original JDM style is reducing weight and reinforcing frames but leaving motors almost stock. The 1000hp issue is for the tuner crowd ( U.S style ). I personally agree with the Opera/Virtuoso philosophy, who needs that much power when you can hit 0-60 faster than the 911 turbo, Ferrari, Lambo, Ford GT, Z06 etc.. Don't expect a European ride on this car, its pure performance and aims to take records on tracks in germany's RING like the 1999 GT-R that stomped porche in its own back yard. Its true Japanese design at its best, The new design Super HICAS four wheel steering system can turn the front and rear wheels in opposite directions at low speeds for maneuvrability. It will be able to send 100% of the torque to the rear wheels in a matter of milliseconds allowing for a 50/50 split when required. Power can also be sent over to just the right or left side when needed as well. Rumor has it that the steering wheel mounted gearshift paddle could be upgraded to an 8 speed system like the new toyota racing gearbox. The launch control mode based off of the Magneti Marelli transmission system used by ferrari and aston martin could be used as well but enhanced even further. They are going nutz 100%, waaay ahead of the curve for this one.
  9. its very affordable for the amount of technology you get. Faster than a ferrari, lambo, and 911 turbo for 75k. Japan release is mid 2007, people are already expecting chaffered frames with full carbon bodys coming in at 1200lbs less weight. Expect 1000+ horsepower after the tuners get a hold of it.

  11. I dont understand where you get saving $200+??? The TSG catalog has a lowest price Epon gear anywhere. If you can find somthing lower we will beat it flat out. Not match, Beat!
  12. The rombax 7V05 is supposed to lower spin quite a bit, very stable as well.
  13. 16* on the 4 wood. ERC3 got KO'd when I hit the Epon, It could be the softer shaft profile that im loving.

  15. guys they are almost gone. I have them at 1250.00 3-PW with S200's + 65.00 shipping.
  16. I hit several balls back in Feb into a net, soft feel hollowish sound is all that i can remember.
  17. i didnt have much time with the 415, after testing the 460 first i fell in love. I would just assume the 415 feels a tad more solid. The 460 is the sweetest feeling driver to be released in a long time, since the days of foamed bridgestone heads.
  18. Since G-field has changed its irons manufacturer I have not been too thrilled by what they are releasing. They had no choice as Kyoei cant keep up with their numbers. They make the best putters, awesome wedges, great woods etc.. but I don't suggest the CCB or NC-1's. The Epon Type X is a very good choice, forged, better feel and design IMO.
  19. X-Drive 460 has no release date yet or specs released to the public. I will keep asking and when I find out you gents will be the first to know. EPON 460 Callaway ERC3 X-Drive 460 you cant go wrong with any of these.
  20. Yup i feel ya! Had the fertilizer thing happen to me multiple times. since then i gave up on black finishes. I have also had irons rust on plane flights. I play a round, the head is still a tad wet, i get on the plane and when i land some rust monster got it in cargo. a few tips for non black finishes are using vinegar to remove the rust, dry it off well and spray it with WD-40.
  21. Late July to Early Aug. Better secure yours now, i have sold 3 of the 6 sets im getting.
  22. wow so that was a fugazzi! Good eye!
  23. Since getting these irons I have been neglecting the forums due to increased passion for the game :tsg_smilie_wink: I have hit all models of EPON irons and i'm very very impressed by each one. The main difference between the type J and technica pro II and type X is the feel. because there is no undercut on the J its softer, in fact its as soft or softer than the majority of muscle backs. i'm not sure how they did that with no copper underlay but it must be the finish combo or the steel grade and quality. Type X is flat out easy to hit, they remind me of the TS-202 very much, soft and pure with a design thats simply to die for. I hit them well but i'm a players cb kinda guy. If you liked the 202 by tourstage you gotta give these a try. The Pro II i liked even better than the type X as they felt a bit better at impact. the profile was very nice and it came down to this set vs the type J. I selected the J as it was just a fraction softer in the longer irons and just so purdy from the back face to look at. The honeymoon is over yet i'm still hitting them as we are a happy married couple. Honestly guys I don't see another set of irons for a very long time. Just going to fine tune my game with these and live happily ever after.

That must be a U.S europe release, I have never seen it in Japan. Give it a try, cant be half bad.
